This was my second visit to the grill and there's something about a comforting space and a good meal after multiple rounds of golf, walking. The food quality is excellent, from starters to salads and sides. A grilled ribeye is a good choice, but I opted for a smoked prime rib and was t disappointed. Loaded baked potato's is big enough for two with all the toppings. For dessert our caddie recommended the fresh donuts with caramel sauce and they were great. There's an extensive wine menu or you can bring your own for $30 corkage. Seating is comfortable and there's a large bar if you just want drinks and snacks. Service was fast and knowledgeable. Good addition to the Bandon dining options.

Looking for an upscale easy going dining experience? this is your place . A great dining experience. Servers are warm, and welcoming along with the other staff. It nice to even sit outside with a cold drink enjoying the gas fireplace with the windbreak glass. Dinner was outstanding! We will be back for my husbands birthday. Raw bar - delicious! My husband even enjoyed my Brussels spouts. Porterhouse steak melts in your mouth. Definitely worth every bite!

Loved this place. An upscale casual setting provided lovely views and delicious food. So many windows to enjoy views of the course. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was 6 large shrimp served on ice with cocktail sauce. Excellent. For our entrees, our table ordered 3 steaks and I had the halibut. My meal was delicious. The fish had a nice sear on the outside but flaky and tender inside. It came with 2 spears of asparagus and a rich sauce. For sides, we shared the carrots and whipped potatoes. The two sides seemed to be enough for our four diners. Both sides were very good. Service was excellent. We did have a reservation and were seated immediately. The service staff worked together with water glasses never empty, plates being delivered and cleared quickly, orders taken, etc. Great stop.

Apparently, you can't come to Bandon Dunes without dining at the Ghost Tree. After hearing its praise for multiple days, I must say I wasn't disappointed! Service was excellent. From the hostess to the bar tender to our server (Dallas) and everyone else, service here was top notch! Ambiance was nice, classy without feeling stuffy. It was too cold for us to sit outside by the fire, but that must certainly be a nice feature during the summer. I also appreciate that we were able to continue watching the 49ers vs. Bears on SNF because there are big TVs throughout the bar and restaurant. On to the best part, the food! Cauliflower: this truly was a special dish. I thought it was going to be WAY too much for two people, which it was. But it made for decent leftovers the next day. My only slight complaint about this dish is that there was almost too much going on flavor wise. I probably wouldn't get this again if I wasn't with a larger group, but I'm glad we tried it! Whipped Potatoes: perfect accompaniment to steak or in my case the pork chop! So buttery and delicious... served with caramelized onions on top. Another 10/10, would definitely order again! The pork chop was maybe on of the best I've ever had. The dish is two giant bone-in chops. They do have some fat, but that's what makes them so flavorful. I didn't try the French onion soup or the crab pasta, but my bf said they were very good. Parker house roll I could take or leave (I was expecting them to be more special).

The food and service were excellent. The building, overlooking lovely wooded greens, is bright and gorgeous. We were surprised (but perhaps should not have been) by the prominent sports bar screens suspended from the ceiling. We loved the raw bar options and outstanding sides, including Brussels sprouts and roasted cauliflower. We were at the grill, not as golfers, but to celebrate a birthday. It was a grand birthday celebration. We'd love to return!

Probably the fanciest restaurant on the Southern Oregon coast. Located in the Bandon Dunes golf resort, this was exactly what I needed after a rainy few days on the coast. Paula was our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive. I was dying for a martini & these did not disappoint, so dirty, so cold, just perfection. The Parker house rolls were so soft & buttery, & the brussel sprouts crispy & delicious. We had oysters, and a hamachi crudo which were also great. King crab legs, NY strip & a delicious espresso crème brûlée made a phenomenal dinner.

Everything was my delicious! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was so relaxing! Our server was Julia and she was the best! She was very attentive and was able to describe the menu items perfectly! We went with all of her recommendations and everything was phenomenal! The shrimp starter was our favorite and the ribeye and flat iron steak were mouth watering. For dessert we got the apple donuts and espresso crème brulee. The donuts are definitely the way to go! Julia recommended them and we listened! Great place with great food and the best service! Thank you!

This place is so good. We went there twice in 3 days! This place is hands down the best restaurant the Bandon Dunes resort. Great ambiance and lively vibe of golfers getting their grub on after a day on the links. The place is always hustling and bustling and they have a great bar that overlooks the old McDonald golf course. Over the course of two dinners we all had halibut, shrimp, ceviche, summer corn soup, shrimp, cocktails, burgers a delicious pork and other things that I have forgotten already. The service is great. The food is high quality and as I said it's the best at this resort. If you're going, you got to go to ghost tree grill!

A HIDDEN GEM! If you love to play golf and food, this is a great spot for you! I highly rec' making a reservation in advance. The ambience, service and quality of the food. Say no more -- I enjoyed every moment while I was there. The appetizer! *French Kisses/* Are my favorites! I loved them more than the entrees. Thank you for the lovely experience! (:

This place is very unassuming. We were told of some nicer restaurants by some locals that were on the actual golf course grounds. And this was one of them. It's located way into the Bandon Dunes golf resort. We had to ask for directions getting there. Honestly I was impressed of how nice this place was and the menu. Definitely a golfers place, we felt a tad out of place because we just wanted fancy food but had been hiking all day. Literally every customer was in golf attire, but don't worry they accepted regular folk too. Haha. We sat at the bar because the hostess said there were no tables available, however when we sat and looked around there were at least 15 tables open, and we came in around 8:30pm. This place is gorgeous inside, and the view of the golf course is nice as well. Our bartender was nice for the most part, definitely nicer and more attentive after we ordered the whole raw bar and some other appetizers. But overall a decent waiter/bartender. Raw bar and appetizers came out fairly quick, our steak, fish and other sides took a tad bit longer. The bartender had to go check on it a few times. The price to portion sizes were a tad high for some items, but being on a "golf resort" and being "fine dining" for the area it was to be expected. Overall our meal was really yummy and it was over $300 for the two of us. But we did order an insane amount of food. Presentation was nice, not super fancy with the normal menu, but the raw bar presentation was really nice. So for the important part, taste..... this is just my honest opinion. The rolls, don't waste your time. Pricey for something not memorable. The bread almost tasted store bought to me and the butter could've had more flavor. Honestly they should just serve that complimentary. The pork belly appetizer was a 10/10! One of my favorites for the night, perfectly cooked, crisp and full of amazing flavors, had a kick at the end too. Couldn't stop eating this one. The mac and cheese was pretty tasty, very rich. I'm not one who normally orders Mac and cheese but I did like the hint of hatch chili, it was a nice change over a lobster Mac n cheese or a regular one. I couldn't personally eat a whole side of it, but the few bites I had were good. The brussels were brussels, cooked good... flavor was ok, could've been a tad more flavorful. The raw bar was probably my favorite off the whole menu. The salmon poke, hamachi crudo and scallop crudo were all excellent in their own way. I loved the flavor and texture with the poke combining the wontons. The hamachi crudo had a green curry sauce that was excellent and everything married well together. The scallop crudo had great flavors as well. The ahi tuna was good fish wise but was lacking with the toppings they put on it. It honestly would've been spectacular with just thinly sliced lemons Serrano peppers and a ponzu/yuzu sauce of some sort. The filet we ordered was cooked to medium and it came with truffle butter topping was good and needed. The halibut was cooked perfectly, but I didn't care for the accompanying sauce and it needed seasoning. So for my experience the appetizers and raw bar were better than the entrees; but that's just me. Still the best meal we had while visiting Oregon. I would definitely dine here again.

My favorite was the beet salad, which came recommended and was very refreshing. I felt there could be more beets in the salad because there was basically four quarter pieces equal to one medium size beet for the $14. +tax + tip price, but the taste and presentation were 5-Star.

When I asked for no feta cheese on my gyro she informed me that it was also in the tzatziki (I really appreciated the heads up) and she also clarified if this was a food allergy or preference (I appreciate her concern in the case that this was an allergy to dairy). She was also quick with bringing me ketchup and hot sauce and anything else I asked for. She really made both meals excellent :) The food was just as good as the service! My Traditional Breakfast really hit the spot! Thanks again to Kat for recommending the bacon. My gyro was a little plain, because I got mine without cheese and tzatziki. BUT the chicken was super flavorful and the veggies were fresh and crispy. I added a splash of lime juice and this was perfect for me. And I must say these are some of the BEST French fries I've ever had!! I'm not sure if they're considered double fried or beer battered (?) but it is definitely worth the $3 upgrade to get them! I only wish they would just put the dang bottle of ketchup on the table instead of bringing it to you in a small metal cup (which they did at both meals). Odd policy IMO; seems like it makes more work for the servers. But that is a very small complaint for an overall very great restaurant!

The crab cakes were just as impressive. They were packed with crab, nicely seasoned, and cooked to a perfect golden crisp on the outside while staying tender and flavorful inside. The New England clam chowder likely came out of a can from Cisco. And I believe our biggest regret was ordering a dozen oysters. Now, I've been eating oysters for 50 years in just about every state that harvests them. These oysters are gigantic, which in itself is not a problem. However, they smelled and taste like dead fish, with the texture of soggy bread. There was absolutely no salty brine. This could indeed be a local variety that I just don't care for. But to me, they taste like they were shucked a week ago and soaked in a bucket of fishy water and put back in the shell to serve. Additionally, they were warmer than room temp and not served on ice. I only managed to swallow two before throwing in the towel. My wife who is an oyster lover, only ate one. I'd like to think that I'm wrong, but I can tell you that I regret every penny I spent there. and will certainly not go back. -so, update on the oysters. The oysters served were Coos Bay Area oysters, which are too large to serve on the half shell. They are primarily used for frying. The fine dining restaurants in the area do not and will never serve them on the half shell.
