I'm giving this tour a one star only because you have to but a star. It was my husbands 30th birthday and I thought this would be a lot of fun because he likes ghost stuff. I was very wrong. You would think a ghost tour means going in haunted builds but no. We look at haunted buildings from inside a van. Not what I was expecting. I will say the tour guide was very informant about the history of Jerome. I would not recommend going on this tour at all. Waste of money. If you want to have or try to have a ghost experience just book a room at the grand hotel. I wish I would have done that inside. read more

I bought the tour off Groupon which made it a great deal. My adult children also had gotten a deal. The 6 of us were camping in the area outside of Jerome. It was easy to schedule and they sent reminders via email. Had no trouble finding the place and it felt very welcoming. We waited till everyone was present before we started. It was a crazy busy weekend because of the holiday weekend and our tour was scheduled for about 3pm. I wasn't sure how fun a ghost "spirit" tour would be at that time but I was pleasantly surprised on how spooky and impressed I was with our tour guides. They did a great job and I will probably be checking out other tours in the area. They are very knowledgeable and don't use any extra fluff to impress you. First off, Jerome is awesome. Enjoy some wine and excellent food. Then when the sun goes down and about 95% of the people leave, go on a historic ghost tour of the town! You are given all the fancy meters and flashlights and you get to head off into the now deserted streets and get an excellent history lesson. Our tour guide was Kenny and his apprentice (sorry I forgot your name) and they are friendly and very knowledgeable of the town and the secrets it holds. My experience with this tour was excellent. It was just myself and 3 of my family members that were on the tour and was purchased as a Christmas gift. Our tour guide was fantastic and he had so much information to share which made the tour much more enjoyable . He showed us some of the most popular ghost locations and we used special equipment to experience ghost phenomenon on our own. Absolutely wonderful. I vsited Jerome with my nine year old son, as a friend recommended it. We booked a 12:30 tour, but 3/4 of the way there from Sedona, we were asked if we could switch to the 3:00 PM tour for some reason. We agreed to do that, which was no big deal. It gave us time to explore the town and get some exercise walking up and down those steep streets. When we arrived for the 3:00 PM tour, they kindly comped us a free t-shirt and mood ring for the kiddo. That was very nice! Also, our tour had a couple other kiddos around the same age as my son and so the tour guide recognized this and said he would make the tour "PG," which was a good call, and Kenny did an excellent job of doing that. Kenny really knows his stuff and makes you feel the depth of the stories of Jerome. The ghost hunt part in the hospital was fun too. I highly recommend to all of my friends and family! read more

We scheduled a private ghost tour at 9pm, we were a group of 9. We were 10, but 1 person chickened out! Lol. Our guides were Cody "1" and Cody "2", it was "Cody 2" 's first time touring a group on his own. He did a great job and we did have the benefit of having both Cody's with us sharing knolwedge, experiences and tips. It's hard not to like the Cody's, we all share a common interest, that brought us all together. We used the readers and voice boxes and we absolutely experienced some activity. Our favorite spot was the cemetery, although we did drive to the jail and got some great experiences. The experience that made me want to pack my bags and drive home was what happened as we were leaving the cemetery. It's so unbelievable.... I only believe it because I was there. We had a friends 13 yr old son with us Logan, who had the best voice box, during his and his brothers walks in the cemetery. They meet Bruno via the box, Bruno was a child burried in the cemetery. I was not there and did not get all the details about Bruno, I was trying to get the Irishman and Clara to talk to me, playing Marco Polo. Lol. As we were leaving the cemetery my friend received a text from Logan's, Papa. Papa was not on the tour, he was in Phoenix. Papa said he just received a phone call from a kid named "Bruno" and he was looking for Logan. Our jaws dropped, I realized I am scared of spirits and I need to get out of Jerome, end the ghost tour and go back to Chandler. Well, Papa is a funny man, turns out the kids were on Facebook live and he was watching and came up with a grand plan to scare us! It worked, dont Facebook Live during the ghost tour, but take the tour because Clara, Bruno and the Irishman definitely spoke to us via the voicebox. Cody was the best guide as he shared personal experiences, and gave tips on the best ways to interact with the towns many remaining spirits during our stay. Had a horrible experience with their customer service. Bought a Groupon and attempted multiple times to book. Emailed them and they never responded, so tried calling but was put on hold multiple times. After a couple of days trying decided when we went to the town would book a tour. The lady at the counter was very rude and not willing to help. Tried up selling us for a different tour advised tried multiple times contacting them. Then she states that tours can not be booked that way we need to call. I told her not according to the verbiage on the site. Still was very rude and short with us. Fun, creepy and educational. We went on the 2 hour tour and visited the hospital, cemetery and high school. We were given transistor radios and EVP equipment to use. We did get some activity in the high school. My boyfriend was a true cynic and did not believe in ghost, spirits, whatever you like to call them, and now he is a believer because of what we experienced. The tour guide was nothing short of an expert in Jerome history and hauntings. I am not a "ghost hunter" and do not watch any of those shows, but I do love history and learning about new places. I've been on several tours including haunted history and cemetery tours in New Orleans and throughout the US. I highly recommend this tour on your next visit to Jerome - definitely worth the money and time. We will be back on our next trip :) read more

I had SO much fun on this tour. The previous group was late getting back and they literally had to pry one of their other guides out of bed. He was there in 5 minutes or so and I'm so glad he was. He walked backwards for 90 minutes (including up and down the "heart attack stairs") and shared lots of stories with us. He was very knowledgeable and very personable. I feel awful that I can't remember his name. Just ask for the insomniac guide and they'll know who you want. We went on the 8pm Spirit Walk which was more history than ghost hunting though he did give us the little meters to carry. There were only 4 of us and one of the girl's meters kept going off so that was pretty cool. I wouldn't call myself a believer but after hearing the history of the town I would definitely concede that if any town is haunted it's definitely Jerome. This Ghost tour was the first stop and best part of our trip to Jerome. Kenny was extremely accommodating and helped us book the tour and coordinate the meeting place. Cody our tour guide took us around town with paranormal equipment which was really fun-especially the cemetery. Even though it was daytime it didn't make our ghost hunting any less creepy! Horrible!!!!! Paul was horrible! We took the 8 p.m. tour expecting history and ghost stories as per the conversation when we booked the tour. We were taken out in a van with a broken door and seat belts to a cemetery. We stood next to a patio set and listened to the Paul ramble. There were no grave sites and, if there were, we would not have seen them because he didn't bring any flashlights as we were promised in the email. Then we parked next to a mine. He pointed to the mountains and told us about buildings that may or may not have been there - it was dark - we couldn't see anything. Then he took us down another road. Parked the van and went on and on and on about the disgusting prostitutes and diseases they gave the entire town - .10 prostitutes and what they would do; $3 prostitutes and what they would do; $20 prostitutes and what they would do - a tour of 6 women and 1 man - it never occurred to him that it may not be appropriate to only speak about how disgusting these women were rather than how disgusting the mine company was who, at the very least, encouraged and paid for their employees to use the services! Then there was walking up and down hill though dark allies with dilapidated roads - NO FLASHLIGHTS! watching the idiot roll on ground showing us how a sheriff was beaten once again pointing in the dark to tell us a bout buildings that used to be there. My sister, husband, daughter and niece went for an 8pm tour with Mason and it was amazing. They were a bit short on the spirit boxes and EMFs but I let Mason know it was my nieces 16th birthday and he ensured we got one of each. Everything was on time, all the staff were awesome. Mason did a fantastic job narrating the tour with historic details and lots of stories. He didn't rush and allowed us time to look around. He stayed super patient (the other tourists in the group sucked). He even coded some of the verbiage due to kids in the group. We had an awesome tour with Kenny over the Fourth of July! We were worried about feeling safe with COVID but Kenny made us feel completely at ease. He wore an N95 mask the whole time and required everyone on the tour to to as well. He also sanitizes the shuttle after every ride. Our tour was full of interesting Jerome facts and was great for adults and even our 8 and 5 year old kids!
