So a coworker and I arrived at the Casper airport a couple hours early thinking we would get a bite at the restaurant at the airport. Of course it was closed. So we ordered from Ghost Town because it was close and had a decent rating for which I'm curious how this place received over 2 stars. Box fell apart when it was delivered and we lost a couple pieces of chicken, all the food looked like it was just dumped into the box, no napkins or utensils Everything was cold Supposed to get 6 biscuits and got 3 with 3 blueberry biscuits, all dry as hell Jambalaya had no flavor. I'm actually going to review the crunchy crispy chicken which is a restaurant chain located in the ghost town travel plaza. The concept is great(Popeyes rip off), but the food sits in a glass display till you order it. Boudin balls were pretty good, as well as the fried catfish. The red beans and rice was passable, but not amazing. I didn't try the chicken so not sure how it rates. Just wished the food was cooked to order and then it would have been very good. read more

When your finally getting into town after a long day of traveling and need gas its a pretty great stop. It has very decent fried chicken but wouldn't recommend the fried fish to much its very greasy. The food is good the service not so good. Do not order online they don't look at their orders. It even showed they accepted it but apparently they didn't. We showed up and was told half our order they couldn't make and had to wait 30 minutes additional to get the food. I suppose that's what we get for ordering from a gas station. read more

The staff are friendly and the gas prices are good, but what adds the 5th star for this place is the surprisingly good crispy fried chicken. Usually you have to compromise between crisp and seasoning, but this manages to do a bit of both, and at a gas station! Thanks guys :-) read more

Stopped in for gas and bathroom break, but got far better deal on service from very friendly staff and the very juicy, crispy, warm chicken tender strips, wedge potatoes and honey buscuits!!! I wouldnt have expected to find cheap but good meal in the middle of Hwy-26! Kudos to Heath at the cash register and the gentleman who gave me a free sample of their chicken tender that made me buy and experience Krispy Krunchy Chicken! Clean bathroom, too!!! We stopped here to get gas on our way driving from Colorado to Jackson. When I went in to use the facilities, I was met by a wall of cigarette smoke. The last time I'd been so engulfed by smoke was on the casino floor at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. I wouldn't have expected an unassuming gas station cafe to rival Sin City in disgustingness. I held my breath walking to and from the restroom, which was the cleanest part of the establishment. Even though I avoided breathing inside as much as I could, I still had a wicked headache to nurse the rest of the way to Jackson. Bottom line: I would have rather pulled over on the side of the road to pee than ventured into Ghost Town. Avoid at all costs. read more

End up eating here quite a bit as I work on this end of town and there just aren't a lot of options. Ghost Town is a cafe attached to a gas station. They have American standards, well cooked. Nothing fancy about the menu but there's a decent amount of care put into cooking the food. Their burgers are good, hand pressed, and the home-made chicken noodles on the weekend on actually worth going out of your way for. If you're getting take out, avoid their fries - they don't travel well at all, ask for a different side. They're very good when dining in and served hot, though! One word of warning: This is a smoking establishment. It's out in the county where there are no rules RE smoking in a business and while it's decent sized and tries to be well ventilated, well, it's indoor smoking like something from years ago. read more

I liked this place. My husband drives truck and everything is so expensive at truck stops. We stopped here and both had the meatloaf It was fresh, homemade great flavor and actually made with beef. It is small, but the waitress was great and knew most of her customers by name. I will definitely eat here again if we come through. Oh and it is now a SMOKE FREE place. read more
