So pricey, but so worth it. I think visiting Ghirardelli should be high on any tourist's San Francisco bucket list. The sundae will run you around $20, but it's big enough to share and really decadent. The menu here is a lot bigger than what's at the ballpark and there is quite a bit of seating inside.

Went to get ice cream after a short walk from Pier 39. They have the special Dubai chocolate Sundae which was not on the menu. Ordered the regular size (with tax and tip came to $27. The regular size was $3 more than the mini size). It was good but pricey; it had lots of Dubai and hot fudge chocolate. The place is nice and clean. Good service.

Wonderful little plaza with ice cream, wine, beer and some eats :) go downstairs to grab some pizza and play some mini golf! Or maybe even grab some boba yumm

Maybe I should have done more research, but I was quite disappointed with Ghirardelli Square considering its size. I expected there to be much more to see and do but it ended up being mostly a small souvenir shop and a cafe. I didn't find anything particularly unique in the shop, aside from a small cable car ornament with one chocolate square (which cost $10!) Instead, I ordered a salted caramel hot chocolate. It was very rich but I didn't notice much salt flavor which was sad. If you're planning a visit to SF, I wouldn't make a special trip here just for this. It might only be worth stopping by if you're already in the area or are a big fan

What a great spot for a sweet treat! We got the Dubai chocolate sundae and it was expensive, but it was worth every bite. It could easily be split among three people. The line moved quickly. There was plenty of space for us to sit on a weeknight. The staff was quick at cleaning up the tables and helped us grab some tapwater to drink as well. The value for the ice cream is questionable when you're paying over $20 for a sundae, but I really enjoyed every bite and totally fall into the Dubai Chocolate hype. I love the pistachio and crunchiness and there was plenty of that filling in every bite.

It's been a while since I last visited Ghirardelli square, so when I found out about peppermint day, I knew I had to go (Ghirardelli peppermint bark is my fav!!). I had a great time! There were free activities including snow globe making and photobooth! We walked around the little stores and it was fun! We also did make a pit stop for some hot chocolate! Overall, I love Ghirardelli square. Visiting here brought back lots of memories for when I was younger.

Ghirardelli's is so good. Any of the stores are great, but we love this one. The service is just so nice and they are pretty fast. They have a great selection of candy and ice cream and gifts. You will love this place. It is so cute inside with lots of gifts and areas to get the best desserts. It is always well maintained. The location is super fun. There are lots pf places around there to walk. It is great on a not too hot day. The prices are just a tad high, but everything is made so well. It can get a tad crowded, but the lines move fast. They also have hot fudge and things like that to take home for later use. There is just so much to buy there. I love the gift area. It really is special.

We had to stop here and enjoy a sundae, even in the cold! Of course, we went for the Treasure Island warm brownie sundae and the world's famous hot fudge sundae. Both were amazing, but definitely meant to be shared!

Attended the Touchdown at Ghirardelli Square Fan Zone free event on Friday, Feb. 6, in anticipation of Super Bowl LX. The event featured music from a DJ, fun games and activities, and complimentary drinks like Olipop and Umma Juice. One highlight was a super cute BÉIS gift--a tiny purse keychain. I mentioned to the staff that BÉIS should consider selling it because people would definitely buy it. Also purchased the limited-edition Super Bowl Waffle Sundae and received a football keychain as a gift. Overall, it was a fun event on a beautiful, sunny day.

I think anyone that happens to be around Ghirardelli Square needs that Ghirardelli experience. After having a nice meal around the area, stop by for dessert classics made well. Whether you finish or not (we sure didn't), the experience of having Ghirardelli at Ghirardelli and made by the Ghirardelli staff, it's an experience. And understand that unlike ice cream shops in general, you're not here to experience the ice cream, but the chocolate. Having spent most of my life in the Bay Area, I rarely get a chance to make it to SF, let alone Ghirardelli Square. After brunch, this was an impromptu visit for us to just enjoy something local. Two sundaes, we couldn't finish. Well made a delicious. We enjoyed it for the total experience, which was worth it.

We stopped by to satisfy our sweet teeth, and were we satisfied. We ordered a chocolate lover's hot fudge sundae from the lower location. There's no tabled seating down there, but there are some giant steps that you can sit around. The ice cream was creamy, and the fudge is incredibly rich, while not being overly sweet. It's pretty expensive for what it is, and it's certainly on the smaller side for that price point.

We swung by Ghirardelli square on a cold and windy day to sip on some hot cocoa. The line was long but fast moving. We got the sea salt caramel hot cocoa and the regular hot cocoa. I am still confused on if we should put the Ghirardelli inside the hot cocoa and melt it and drink it or just eat it on the side, but regardless, the hot cocoa was delicious. We then decided to stroll around the square. It was super packed cz of the holiday crowd but the holiday decor had a nice charm and made the stroll well worth it.

Treats here are so tasty and definitely hits different with those sweet tooth cravings. Depending on the days it can get busy but they are good at expediting food and orders. Worth the price and if you are lucky you can get a nice view. The sweets options are great and of course they use their amazing chocolate. Staff is pretty friendly here too.

Is Kara's Cupcakes Still There Or Did They Close Like A Lot Of Their Other Stores?

Kara's Cupcakes is located at: 3249 Scott Street San Francisco

Is there a Christmas tree stroll by Academy of Art students this year?

Yes there is, starts at 2 or 3pm and goes through the evening and night. They also have an outdoor market that you can shop at.

    Is there free WiFi available?

Yes - we have free Wi-Fi available to connect to on the property.

What time do they close? Yelp says 11p but their website says 9p?

This page isn't for the store its for the square which includes many shops. I'd go with the store's website time.

Do you need a reservation for this?

Nope, but you can make them if you choose.

If you're walking. That's easy. Just pop it into your GPS. If you're taking a cab then I would suggest putting as your destination "Devil Teeth Baking" as getting dropped off at other locations around the area is pretty chaotic (I mean it's already pretty chaotic as it is since you're in the financial district of San Fran). There are many businesses in here. But I came for a business meeting. So if youre going for something like that, you'll want to enter the cement building (no doors just opened entry) and go up one flight of stairs / escalators and head to the lobby. From there, you let them know that you have a meeting and on what floor and give them your name. They'll check in the database for it and then let you into the elevators. You hit the button and off you go. Some of my colleagues found parking around the area but they live here so much more familiar. They suggested to me to not have a car. The meeting space I was in was on the 12th floor and it was a few large meeting spots and some smaller offices that are rented out to different businesses. There's a wellness room and a business center with stationeries. I'm assuming every floor is different. Mine had some color to it. Plants, paintings, art etc. It felt a bit homier than what a generic office would look like. The people were chill too. Good spot. Decent value. Would host a meeting here again!

Long live the past of shopping in the 2010s. The entrances on Market Street still smell like urine, though. The majority of SF residents blame the city officials for letting criminals and homelessness go free, which made most retail stores shut down due to robberies. Less than 28 stores remained in business. The best part is that the public restrooms are still open, and there's access to BART/MUNI near the GNC Store. The best shopping mall in SF is Stonestown Galleria, next to San Francisco State University, where you can take the MUNI train M.

The stores are super cute, there are things to do, there are restaurants as well as good quick eats (like the mini donut shop - oh my gosh that's so good - and a cute retro candy shop at the end of the pier. Additionally, the views at the end of the pier are magical, and you get to view it with songs from the sealions! There are also magic shows at the pier you can watch for free and a large carousel! Pier 39 is 100%, touristy, but it is still festive and fun, whether you're an out-of-towner or a local resident. The only downsides are the prices (because this area is a tourist trap) and the parking. Here are some tricks and tips: Look for coupons for some of the pier activities (ie, coupon books, Groupon, and even on the ads in the local map they give you for free). I've found coupons for the Aquarium By the Bay, restaurants, the mirror maze thingy, and The Flyer. You can also go to the Visitor Center office on the 2nd floor of the pier! Just ask politely for coupons, and they'll usually have something. (They gave me 20% off some nice restaurants last time.) As for parking, be careful with street parking because if you are even a minute late, I swear, you'll find a ticket on your windshield! The city ticket workers are like hawks. There is a Pier 39 parking garage that is the closest but costs a lot. You can look for open parking lots further away, like at hotels, which can be cheaper. If you are able to walk, that may be a good option -- or better yet, take public transportation when you can. That is part of the San Francisco experience! One more tip: if it's your first time there, bring a lock to put at the end of the pier! (See photo) There are definitely a multitude of photo opps here!
