This is my second time visiting. The Ghirardelli square itself has little shops and eateries you can enjoy. I love that they have a nondairy selection now for those with sensitivities. It was very busy but the line went quick. The workers didn't seem very friendly and none of them were very welcoming. So that already put us off from the start. We ordered the frozen Chocolate and a regular vanilla sundae. Although the ice cream was good, our cups were full of hard fudge. I feel it was a bit overwhelming. I'll try to come again and perhaps try another flavor.

On my most recent SF visit I was so excited to stop by Ghirardelli Square! A big tourist spot, the Square is home to multiple Ghirardelli shops and ample space to enjoy your delicious dessert. Overlooking the water, it is a gorgeous location to relax. There was a fairly long line for a Saturday afternoon, and I opted for the Mini Dubai Chocolate Sundae. I was surprised at how expensive the cup was -$18 for a mini while the regular size was $21. Since it was just me, the mini was more suitable in size (and I still couldn't finish it) but the prices are pretty steep for a dessert shop. That being said, staff were very accommodating and efficient given how loud and busy the shop was (and probably stayed throughout the day). The sundae was delicious and I loved the crunch of the pistachio filling. I will probably be back here on my next visit to SF, though hopefully able to share a dessert given the sizes here!

I came here with my daughter for a mommy/ daughter date and had the best time. My daughter ordered the mini Sunday and ended up with ice cream left over. It was such a fun experience. Everyone was very kind and helpful, we ordered our ice cream and then they brought it to the table. The restrooms were a little hard to find and because I was alone with a 6 year old I ended up having to wait quite a while to go because they were on the other side of the square. But overall we had a wonderful experience eating our ice cream then walking down to the water to watch the sunset.

Holy Amazeballs! I have been here a few times and its always so fun and never truly what I expect. I went into Ghirardelli's for a hot chocolate and a little sundae for me and friends to share. The sundae was... meh in all honestly, for hot fudge my fudge was frozen and overall just didn't enjoy the sundae but the hot chocolate never disappoints. The hot cocoa is very thick and very rich. It does take a little while to get your order after they take it so, find a spot and get cozy while you wait.

Ghirardelli square is a nice spot to walk around and check out the shops. Every spot here is a place you'll have to spend money at, besides the water fountain and free benches. There are restaurants, bars, the Ghirardelli shops, games for kids, and a cute photo booth on the second level tucked by the stair case. I would come again to kill time but wouldn't be a must stop.

Any time I'm in San Francisco, we come to Ghirardelli square. We bought some chocolates and had salted caramel hot chocolate. We sat inside to drink it. It was good but next time, I'd get the regular hot chocolate.

Visited while docked at San Francisco Pier. It's a short ride or cable car away with lots of restaurants and stores in the square. If you have your own car, you can pay the meter for street parking or park in the lot. Many of the restaurants provide validation for 50% off parking in the lot. We enjoyed walking around and browsing the stores, and took a few scenic pictures while we were there.

Had a good time trying our the historic Ghirardelli Square. My friend and I each got mini hot fudge sundaes. The ice cream was creamy and sweet, with a satisfying amount of hot fudge. The whipped cream, cherry and Ghirardelli chocolate square accompanied the ice cream nicely. While the sundaes were good portions, I'm not sure that the value of ~$34 was appropriate. Other than price, the service was friendly and fast while the flavor was that of a yummy, classic ice cream sundae.

Went to get ice cream after a short walk from Pier 39. They have the special Dubai chocolate Sundae which was not on the menu. Ordered the regular size (with tax and tip came to $27. The regular size was $3 more than the mini size). It was good but pricey; it had lots of Dubai and hot fudge chocolate. The place is nice and clean. Good service.

So pricey, but so worth it. I think visiting Ghirardelli should be high on any tourist's San Francisco bucket list. The sundae will run you around $20, but it's big enough to share and really decadent. The menu here is a lot bigger than what's at the ballpark and there is quite a bit of seating inside.

Wonderful little plaza with ice cream, wine, beer and some eats :) go downstairs to grab some pizza and play some mini golf! Or maybe even grab some boba yumm

Ghirardelli's is so good. Any of the stores are great, but we love this one. The service is just so nice and they are pretty fast. They have a great selection of candy and ice cream and gifts. You will love this place. It is so cute inside with lots of gifts and areas to get the best desserts. It is always well maintained. The location is super fun. There are lots pf places around there to walk. It is great on a not too hot day. The prices are just a tad high, but everything is made so well. It can get a tad crowded, but the lines move fast. They also have hot fudge and things like that to take home for later use. There is just so much to buy there. I love the gift area. It really is special.

Maybe I should have done more research, but I was quite disappointed with Ghirardelli Square considering its size. I expected there to be much more to see and do but it ended up being mostly a small souvenir shop and a cafe. I didn't find anything particularly unique in the shop, aside from a small cable car ornament with one chocolate square (which cost $10!) Instead, I ordered a salted caramel hot chocolate. It was very rich but I didn't notice much salt flavor which was sad. If you're planning a visit to SF, I wouldn't make a special trip here just for this. It might only be worth stopping by if you're already in the area or are a big fan

Is Kara's Cupcakes Still There Or Did They Close Like A Lot Of Their Other Stores?

Kara's Cupcakes is located at: 3249 Scott Street San Francisco

Is there a Christmas tree stroll by Academy of Art students this year?

Yes there is, starts at 2 or 3pm and goes through the evening and night. They also have an outdoor market that you can shop at.

    Is there free WiFi available?

Yes - we have free Wi-Fi available to connect to on the property.

What time do they close? Yelp says 11p but their website says 9p?

This page isn't for the store its for the square which includes many shops. I'd go with the store's website time.

Do you need a reservation for this?

Nope, but you can make them if you choose.

If you're walking. That's easy. Just pop it into your GPS. If you're taking a cab then I would suggest putting as your destination "Devil Teeth Baking" as getting dropped off at other locations around the area is pretty chaotic (I mean it's already pretty chaotic as it is since you're in the financial district of San Fran). There are many businesses in here. But I came for a business meeting. So if youre going for something like that, you'll want to enter the cement building (no doors just opened entry) and go up one flight of stairs / escalators and head to the lobby. From there, you let them know that you have a meeting and on what floor and give them your name. They'll check in the database for it and then let you into the elevators. You hit the button and off you go. Some of my colleagues found parking around the area but they live here so much more familiar. They suggested to me to not have a car. The meeting space I was in was on the 12th floor and it was a few large meeting spots and some smaller offices that are rented out to different businesses. There's a wellness room and a business center with stationeries. I'm assuming every floor is different. Mine had some color to it. Plants, paintings, art etc. It felt a bit homier than what a generic office would look like. The people were chill too. Good spot. Decent value. Would host a meeting here again!

The majority of SF residents blame the city officials for letting criminals and homelessness go free, which made most retail stores shut down due to robberies. Less than 28 stores remained in business. The best part is that the public restrooms are still open, and there's access to BART/MUNI near the GNC Store. The best shopping mall in SF is Stonestown Galleria, next to San Francisco State University, where you can take the MUNI train M.
