The third time an older man with an accent picked up, I didn't know he did tho cuz it was silent for a couple seconds I had to start the phone call. I explained to him one of his guys confirmed with me yesterday to bring my truck in at 1pm and (like some of the reviews say) he didn't know about it. I literally had to convince him if I could still bring it in for a tune up and that I had bought the parts and was ready. He didn't want my business until he finally decided to say yes. And I kept explaining myself and making sure all the details were set because I was in fact leaving work early for this job. Mid sentence he cuts me off saying "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, you talk too much" to which I replied "you know what man I don't want your business" and hung up I've never had a mechanic talk like that to me man haha it was crazy, I came with good energy and I guess old head wasn't having it. Based on some reviews it seems he has a problems with his attitude. I was actually excited to take my truck to this shop but I don't think I ever will /:

Sure enough, in person was no different. He said he needed to see the exhaust system I had brought in person before giving a quote. And sure enough when I arrived he inspected it in my trunk and gave me the quote right away before I decided if I want to do it. Pressure free. As somebody who could install it myself if I chose to, I agreed with his pricing, it was very fair. I was really surprised to see he was alone in the shop and asked if he worked alone in which he said he did. I was like damn, the entire shop is full of pieces from exhausts that other people left behind and they numbered in the hundreds. So clearly the experience spoke for itself. He told me it would take around two hours to install so I walked to a nearby coffee shop and sure enough 2 hours later I received the call to come pick it up. When I arrived there was an issue with the installation due to a misunderstanding but Steve got the car right back on the lift, and took another car off the lift he was working on to remedy the issue. I could tell he was tired but he did the job nonetheless which I 100% respect. He's a one man army and a really nice and honest guy. I would recommend his shop to any friend. Thank you Steve, and please keep up the hard and honest work!

When your catalytics fail and you ask owner about the warranty the guy who runs the shop will instantly fabricate a bunch of nonsensical reasons why it's an issue with your engine and not with his part. I wouldn't trust this shop with my vehicle and if you do you certainly get what you pay for. Took my vehicle to the ford dealer shortly after and it was fixed instantly and remained fixed with a reputable catalytic and warranty. I'm not sure what kind of parts this guy uses or sources from but the low quality work, shady customer service, and the parking lot warranty leave little to be desired. Save yourself the $2800 and find a different shop.

These guys are extremely nice in words but they completely gaslighted me on the results. Photos…read moredon't lie! I had a pair of headers that I wanted on my truck to solve the weak stock manifolds. After they did the work, I heard an exhaust leak when they started my car up. I know what an exhaust leak sounds like because I have fixed exhaust leaks before. I currently don't have a lift and that is why I paid these guys guy to do it. I went home and my mechanic confirmed that he heard the leak as well. I went back and told them that why they couldn't hear the leak it was so obvious? They grabbed a tube and listed for the sound and said "that's just how headers sound" which is complete BS. shorty legal headers don't affect sound. I went home and run cold air through the system and used soapy waters on the headers and surely enough almost every mating point of the headers was leaking (pictures attached). Once I came back to them in person with proof, they immediately tried to blame it on me saying I shouldn't have sprayed it with soapy water on hot headers (I never did I used cold air) and saying that I made them crack.. They also said since they were used headers they were warped. Let's assume they were right about my headers being warped, why didn't they say anything before installing them? Let's assume I "broke" my headers by spraying them hot... I never touched the car when they did the initial startup and I could hear the exhaust leak. How could someone that works on exhaust all their life not recognize an exhaust leak? They recognize it but choose to gaslight the customer when there was a problem. About a year ago I had a leaking H pipe on my Mustang and I knew it was leaking because my O2 sensor detected dangerous levels of hydrocarbons. They told me that because I had high-flow cats that's just the way it would smell, but I told them to just do what I told them to. They did, and the leak was gone. They gaslighted me twice! If you are getting very simple exhaust work, this place is fine, but I wouldn't trust them with anything extensive, especially headers. An exhaust leak CAN KILL you. If you absolutely have to do work with these guys, don't pay cash, and have a paper receipt of the work done so you can take legal action, exhaust work is NOT cheap. They will greetyou with a smile and kind words, but always double-check this work.

Had the classic intake manifold runner control problem that's plaguing S550 Mustangs (P0300, P0308 codes, cylinder 8 misfire). Was torn between going with a pricey upgrade to a 2018+ manifold (notable power gains high in the power band via custom tune with trade off of losses in the low end) or just replacing with stock. I got on the phone with Greg, he explained the potential smog issues I might run into (especially in CA) if I went this route and gave me his honest suggestion that for a daily driver like mine, the stock replacement was the better play. No upsell, just straight talk. He sourced a new OEM manifold for a solid price, knocked out the install in about an hour with his team and had me out the door in no time (pre scheduled appointment). The car's running smooth again, no more surging/hesitation at 1500-2000 RPMs (telltale symptom of the IMRC failure). Greg gave me honest advice instead of pushing me toward the most expensive fix. If you're dealing with this same IMRC issue on a 2015-2017 GT, RET is the place to go. Definitely coming back for future work.
