Husband and I had dinner here on a Sunday evening. The service was prompt, courteous and very friendly. He ordered garlic shrimp alfredo and licked his plate clean. I ordered a large pizza in order to have enough to take home for the next night. The pizza was good although heavy on the olives which overwhelmed the sauce. Fortunately, I like olives. And we had more than enough left for Monday's dinner. We will be back next time we are camped at Lavonia. read more

This place makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. It can be a very very busy place on the weekend. The pizza used to be excellent. However, the last couple of times it has been barely cooked and when I got home I had to place it in my oven for about 7 min - 10 mins longer. They have fast and friendly service. If this review was based on 6+months ago, I would say, 3 stars. Pizza is good, Ranch dressing is AWESOME! All other food is flavorless. However, tonight, the waitress Cheyenne provided TERRIBLE service. Not just her, but I noticed all the servers slacking off. They were even walking away from the table, cell phone in hand, texting! While my kids never got their drink, Cheyenne was sitting with what appeared to be her friends and even refilled her soda and chatted. We got our check, she charged for the kids drink, and even the ranch that came w/ the buffalo wings. We even noticed upon leaving she charged an additional .99 cents because we ordered 'regular' crust. Never has this happened before. Blame it poor training, but the chick looked high, as on pot. She was rude, never said thank you, nothing. I am a restaurant mgr and always, 99.9% of the time tip 20%, however today I left 0! Except a note on how bad the service was. My kids even cried on the way home because they never got their sweet tea, and we didn't order the cheesecake for them (like we always do but we could not find her to order it and we had to leave). Also, Cheyenne kept quickly going to the window where there was a 18-20ish year old boy that kept flirting w/ her, and she like it, but we never got our kids damn drinks! We also called ahead of time to place the order for the pizza so we would not have to wait with two small kids, and when I placed the order, she didn't even say, "Thank you" or anything, just hung up the phone after I had to say thanks as if I had interrupted her somehow. Rude little teenager! Bad bad bad bad service. Place is seriously going downhill in a quick fashion! Do NOT go eat there and if you do, order only the pizza and order it to go! read more

This place has been around for a really long time and now I know why. The pizza is delish! I love that the hand tossed pizza is air baked so it gets that extra crispy bottom. The sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. I loved every bite of my pizza. We also ordered the fried mushrooms which were very tasty. I'd like to see them paired with like a garlic ranch, but traditional ranch works just as well. The service was quick and friendly. I wish there were another one of these closer by. I truly enjoyed the family atmoshphere and great food. read more

As soon as you walk in all you can see and smell is cigarette smoke. I believe establishments have the right to choose whether or not they allow their patrons to smoke. However, I choose not to eat at a restaurant that allows smoking. read more

The food was pretty good. We had The Steve pizza and I have no complaints. Regarding the service I've seen in a lot of these reviews, I'm happy to say we didn't experience this. It might have to do with the fact that we were only one of three tables there, so they weren't very busy. Our server was polite & courteous, she refilled our drinks twice, and the food was out in like 15 minutes. Other's bad experiences may have to do with the staff being undertrained in how to handle large/busy crowds, but since they weren't busy, we were fine. It's true the staff are all very young. 3 stars instead of 5 because while it was good, I've had better pizza, and while I have no complaints about the staff, they didn't overly impress me, either. Overall, not a bad experience. I would come back if I lived closer. read more

Have been here a few times and not been a big fan of the service but today it was just extremely awful!! Seriously almost to the point of me asking to speak to a manager. Two teenagers serving our table, we never got our drinks re-filled, they never asked if we needed anything else or how our food was or anything! They brought us our food and that was it. I agree with a previous reviewer who said something to the effect that they acted like we were interrupting their lives just by our presence. I have worked as a server for many years and I just can't believe the owner/management doesn't train the servers. Hello!! The customers are there to keep you in business! People may not complain while they're in your restaurant but I guarantee they will say negative things about you to their friends and family (not to mention Yelp) A note to the servers; good service = good tips. I eat here 1 or 2 times/month, and its not bad since it is close by, but today I ordered takeout and it was terrible. Food was OK, but the "Large" pizza I paid for seemed like a medium, and the side salads I paid for were very small. Wow! Not good at all. Got meatballs expecting Italian meatballs and got Costco type meatballs that come 500 in a bag. Terrible! Pizza was a combination individual size. No flavor at all. Was told by waitress it was happy hour and beer was $3.50. When bill came it was $4.75. Terrible food and terrible experience. Will not be back. read more

I went to this restraunt my roommate was having a bad day but we ordered food and 1st of all the waitress didn't bother to tell us that a side of ranch was extra. I had 2 orders of a appetizer and i was only given 1 dipping sauce except i changed my sauce from marinara to ranch i honestly think they shouldn't have charged me for the ranch but on top of that they should have given me 2 because i ordered 2. My drink didn't taste right and my roommates burger was burnt the waitress said it was fine and that's how all their burgers were made and refused to take burger back and make a new one. When we asked why we were charged extra for the ranch sje said we always charge extra if you change your sauce but again she never informed us there was a extra charge. And then the waitress continued to argue with us. No i'm sorry how can i make this better instead she argued there was just a miscommunication i and my roommate will never give this place our business again. Our waitress was rude and unconcerned with wether or not we needed more drinks and only asked how we were doing when she came to where we were because of another customer. I will tell all my friends about the horrible service and we will meet somewere else. read more

Yes the star rating is off the food and not the service!!! Service here sucks, simple as that!!!! The food though is awesome, so we tolerate the crap service. Cheese garlic bread, ranch dressing, side salad, and of course pizza is wonderful. I havent tried any of the pastas bc we cant get past the pizza! Def returning, but they need better service!!! It can turn into a loud bar area, if a bunch of country folk get in there drinking and hootin n hollerin, so beware of that. But pizzza is good, so we keep coming back! read more

My husband and I ordered a couple of pizzas to go the other night for our family. The crust was like cardboard, with the consistency of a saltine cracker! The toppings were not fresh...mushrooms from a can, sausage pellets which I'm not sure where they came from and a sauce that was nonexistent. They were very disappointing and pizza from the frozen food isle would have been better. All of us were very disappointed and will not be going back. Save your money and have Domino's deliver...and we don't really care too much for Domino's! read more
