The lackluster customer service and nasty ness of the there employees. I was forced to search and use another pharmacy. Threw the advice of a family member who has dealt with AJ's for years. If I could give 0 stars, I would!…read more I had an extremely disturbing experience with this pharmacy. After working on my own with Express Scripts for months to obtain prior authorization, my prescription, which was supposed to be filled at CVS, was somehow processed and filled by this pharmacy without my knowledge or consent. I have never visited, contacted, or authorized this pharmacy to handle my medication. I only discovered this after calling CVS and being told the prescription had already been filled elsewhere. I then had to contact my insurance and wait over an hour on hold just to determine where it had been sent. When I called this pharmacy to ask how they obtained my prescription and why it was filled without my authorization, I was told that my doctor sent it and that they worked on the prior authorization. However, I personally handled the prior authorization process myself with Express Scripts. I was also told the medication was scheduled for delivery the next day, despite never speaking with anyone, never confirming delivery, and never receiving any notification. When I asked straightforward questions repeatedly about my own medication, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. Instead of receiving clear answers, I was repeatedly told, "Call your doctor's office, they sent it," transferred multiple times, and spoken to in an unprofessional tone by both staff and the owner. When I became frustrated after not receiving an explanation, I was accused of being abusive and disrespectful. I was made to feel as though I was irrational for simply trying to understand how my prescription was processed. To make matters worse, they canceled my prescription without my approval and told me to fill it elsewhere. I was hung up on multiple times while asking them not to cancel it. Because my insurance now shows the medication as already filled, I am unable to refill it for a month, creating a serious disruption in my medical care. Based on this experience, I have serious concerns about this pharmacy's professionalism, communication practices, and handling of patient medications. Transparency and proper authorization are critical when managing prescriptions, and that standard was not met in my case. Patients should feel confident that their medications are processed with clear consent and careful communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I will be formally reporting this incident. Update: After posting this review the pharmacy called me to argue with me, continued to speak over me, and threaten to cancel my medication. Disgusting!

I've been having my prescription filled here for at least 2 months now. Over that time, this is…read morewhat I've experienced: Their head pharmacist suggesting the prescribing doctor is at fault when they couldn't fill my prescription. I've had my questions constantly evaded and outright lied to (by staff and pharmacist) when I didn't understand what seemed to be some policy that they may have not wanted to disclose. They've also intimated my insurance company was to blame for complications with my prescription (I've checked with my insurance company, they deny any involvement). This is a short list for brevity. This seems to be coherent with a few pharmacies in this area. They use similar lies/red hearings to push blame/responsibility onto other people (this is also known as "pass the buck"). I don't believe this is a reliable and/or trustworthy pharmacy for the reasons I've mentioned earlier and others that I omitted here. They seem to be subtle, sly, and evasive about how they do business; The type of business that makes deals in private to the expense of others with suggestions so they can attempt to escape culpability. It's an all too comon tactic. There's also no point in arguing with these types because they'll usually interrupt to reiterate what they've already repeated regardless of any new claims/information; Even when their repetition isn't relevant and they haven't even engaged with the initial claim. Or they'll completely ignore what was said to them and relentlessly push their thoughts onto who they're speaking to. There's no progress to be made in that kind of argumentation. Sorry for pontificating and generalizing here although, it may save you some wasted effort. I can't prove this here but, if you want to, see for yourself; Take notice of the claims they make and observe what you can. You might or might not see what I did; That what they say and what is evident are contradictory. And the head pharmacist seems to purposefully bloviate to steer the topic of inquiry from what is relevant with a grin. I'm giving them two stars because they didn't give me the wrong medication and they didn't try to overcharge me like some other pharmacies in this area. Avoid this place unless you have an affinity for predatory mind games. If you do, I hope you enjoy your time there. To the people involved from Thrive Care Rx, what were your intentions when you did these things? I'm asking here since speaking with you directly has proven to be unproductive.
