Depending on the day, you may encounter either helpful or unhelpful team members. Lately, I've had several disappointing experiences with the customer service. In particular, I've encountered an employee with yellowish hair and very long nails, as well as a heavier-set employee with glasses who is often by the register. Unfortunately, both have come across as having an attitude, and the employee with glasses in particular was rude and lacked any type of customer service skills. Many of the employees make you feel as though they are doing you a favor by assisting you rather than genuinely wanting to help. In my opinion, this is one of the worst Sephora locations in NYC when it comes to customer service. They carry plenty of products that I would otherwise be interested in purchasing, but I'm not comfortable spending my money somewhere I don't feel appreciated as a customer. I often go in wanting to purchase products but leave empty handed due to the poor experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall customer experience.
