I jokingly commented on a post asking if they deliver to Madison, and he said yes! There was a delivery fee involved (makes sense). I ordered, all frozen: 20 of the empadinhas de frango (little chicken pies), 3 feijoada meals, 3 carne moída (ground beef, carrots, potatoes and rice) meals, some coxinhas and a risole. So far I baked the empadinhas as he recommended, and they had that flaky crust that is just delicious.. Yum! I served them at a small outdoor gender reveal and heard comments complimenting them! the only other thing we have eaten so far is the feijoada, and it is smoky, stewy and delicious. Absolutely not something I would endeavor to make at home, and so worth it. I wish there were some collard greens on the side, but don't think that would be easy to freeze and reheat, so understand why it's not included in the frozen meal. Very excited to try the rest! As far as professionalism, Wendell made the drive in rainy weather and was a perfect professional in responsiveness throughout the ordering and delivery process.

The chicken pizza was very tasty with a thin crust, very floury on the bottom and not a saucy pizza with red sauce like we know. Dry spices with a ricotta cheese like squeezes on top cooked to a golden is as best as I can describe this pizza. This was very different but very good for a non traditional pizza as we know in this country. No sauce for flavor but cheese and dry spices actually works very well on a thin crust. Overall I'm so glad that I stopped because I love trying new things and Brazilian food already seems very tasty so I'm going to try and find them again and get something different.

Food truck Friday!…read more I have noticed this food cart/truck always seem to be popular, and thought I would give it a try. I got the special today - 2 chicken chimichangas, and they were really good! It came with beans and rice, a little bit of salad and some avocados all in this little container. Really quite a bit of food for $7.75! Only suggestion for improvement was that they only have forks to give out, and you really did need a knife to cut the chimichangas, or just use your hands. Fortunately I brought it back to my place of work where I had all kinds of utensils.

I chose the three chicken tacos with everything minus jalapenos. What I got was a massive amount of food and all for well less than $10. Very fresh, the tortillas tasted like they'd been made that morning and the pico de gallo was nice and zippy, and the avocado slices were cut right from the avocado on top of my tacos. It was a little hard to eat that much food, but I managed to do it. There are some tables and chairs nearby along Mason Street by the river so you don't necessarily have to take lunch back to your desk. There is always a line and that's a good thing. Cash only, as far as I could tell.

But it's right here. In Milwaukee. The cart's cargo bike construction is amazing in and of itself, but the coffee is what gets me out of my office and down the street. Locations include in front of the U.S. Bank building in the morning and Third Ward at Milwaukee/Buffalo in front of Fashion Angels and Broadway/Buffalo in the afternoon. He's at every event you can think of and always helping out those who need it. At the earth day celebration he even gave free iced teas to all the bikers powering the stage. His drinks are rather cheap compared to Starbucks and Collectivo, and made with more love and dedication to please his customers. I'd pick Velspresso over any coffee shop out there.

I had to try this New Mexican restaurant because the previous Mexican restaurant had good food but…read morepoor service and I never went back. The place is festive looking with color inside and out. I was started with chips and salsa which looked good. The salsas were green and red which were useless because they were thin and watery so you couldn't really get much on the chips. The chips were not warm or seasoned but thin and super average. I ordered a the steak Milanesa entree which is breaded steak. When my plate came I'm like what's with the French frys, did I order a kids meal because I have never had French frys with a Mexican entree and rice and beans always but no beans in this entree. It comes with warm tortillas and I got corn. The steak milanesa looked pathetic compared to one's in the past. The frys were frozen seasoned and hot cooked to order but had no place in a Mexican entree in my opinion. The milanesa steak was so tough that my wood Handel serrated steak knife was struggling to cut it up. This was the worst example of steak milanesa I have ever had. When my check came I was confused at the total because it was almost $20 for a $15 menu item and I was actually charged $17 for my $15 entree, my reviews are always very honest with pictures to back them up so look at my pictures. I can't go back again because I can't support a restaurant that charges more than the advertised menu price.
