From the looks of it and the seven chairs that are cramped inside, people go here for carry out.  They only serve tacos, burritos and tortas and you can get them with steak, ground beef, pork, beef tongue, chorizo, and chicken.  They offer a meal deal that comes with rice and beans. A very simple menu. The employee didn't look thrilled to be there and was wearing a sweatshirt and coat, and took your order behind their tall counter with an Irish Nutcracker (WTF? See my pic).  I ordered three beef tacos. They were small but pretty delicious. Not out of this world good, but it hit the spot for my current situation. The tacos came with a red and green salsa.  The red salsa was too hot for me, the green salsa was more tame taste to it. This must be a popular spot for the locals as my buddy and I ate our food there and several people came in to order food and was out the door.  Would stop here in a heartbeat if I caught myself in Racine.

Small but has several seating areas. We sat down and ordered with the server. She was efficient with a no nonsense attitude. The chips were so light and crisp. The salsa was fresh and tasty. My choice of side which was a slice of white bread toasted white left me feeling ripped off because I didn't get a choice side, shame on them. The Puerto Rican rice was cooked perfectly with nice texture of the rice and maybe pigeon peas with a nice garlic flavor. The no smoke ring smoked ribs had no smoke flavor at all and they just were cooked ribs covered in sauce. The ribs were tips on meaty with that nice chew that that I like and fall off the bone, not the mushy steamed meat kind. Overall I drove 16 miles for Puerto Rican food that was not as the menu stated and I felt it's over priced and ripped off because food was missing and not smoked at all, big swing and a miss. A couple times, we sat on their patio -- if it's the time of year where it's open, I definitely recommend that. The burritos I've had were all excellent. The last time, I got the mole sauce and it's the highlight dish I've gotten so far. Chips and salsa are solid. It's just a great place to get tasty Mexican fare plus excellent drinks.
