I was just expecting the regular hot dogs ($4) and Polishes ($7.75), but then they show me around to the VIP section of the cart where they had Hungarian sausages, Cajun sausages, Linguisas (a Portuguese sausage I'd never even heard of that apparently goes back to Roman times), and many others. They also provide drinks and chips, and even as I was standing there they had a small crowd of return customers and loyal patrons. I decided on the Linguisa with some brown mustard, ketchup, and onions, wrapped up to go. $7.75--a little more expensive than other hot dog vendors in the city, but when I got back to the office I wish I had ordered 2. I got the special today - 2 chicken chimichangas, and they were really good! It came with beans and rice, a little bit of salad and some avocados all in this little container. Really quite a bit of food for $7.75! Only suggestion for improvement was that they only have forks to give out, and you really did need a knife to cut the chimichangas, or just use your hands. Fortunately I brought it back to my place of work where I had all kinds of utensils.

Very fresh, the tortillas tasted like they'd been made that morning and the pico de gallo was nice and zippy, and the avocado slices were cut right from the avocado on top of my tacos. It was a little hard to eat that much food, but I managed to do it. There are some tables and chairs nearby along Mason Street by the river so you don't necessarily have to take lunch back to your desk. There is always a line and that's a good thing. I had a Red Truck Slider (sans mustard, since I am not a fan) and an order of their Kickin' Fries--the burger was perfectly moist (looked medium/medium well done), the onions were caramelized and delicious, and the bun wasn't crusty or stale (my biggest complaint with burger places). The Kickin' fries were crispy, hot, and good but VERY spicy! Twenty minutes later and my mouth still burns, but it's a very good burn. One slider and fries ($4.50 total) was enough for a light lunch, but I'd suggest ordering two sliders if you're a bit hungrier. Overall, I was pleased. Definitely be back for lunch sometime soon!

The dogs are cooked earlier and heated up on the grill as you order, depending on the worker, they can handle one to three customers competently at a given time, if you see more than 3 people standing around, you might want to come back later. Good selection of dogs, brats and sausages on buns, good choice of condiments - they must have 20 different kinds of mustard. No veggie dogs or burgers though. Bike rack right nearby, MATC benches very close make for urban lunch al fresco. They can now take plastic and email your receipt.

As they say - you can't judge a food truck by its wheels - well totally anyway - and this one has Wheel[z]. They make em fresh while you wait. I've gotten the Tofu and it's thin and slightly crispy. The veggies are crunchy and fresh - and did I mention that these things are HUGE! You get 2 for $4... and you think - "Only two!? I might need to order something else!" BUT you will be surprised as these whoppers sure do fill ya up. However, the food they produce is some of the best Food Truck Fare that I've had. My favorite item they have is the Stuffed Chicken Wing. They bone out a chicken wing, leaving just the tip which becomes the handle. The meat of the Wing is then filled with Cellophane Noodles, Ginger, Garlic and Scallions! The whole thing is then fried to a Crispy, Golden Brown. I've never said this about Chicken Wings before, but the result is surprisingly light. YUM!!! There are two per order, so they are great for sharing!

But it's right here. In Milwaukee. The cart's cargo bike construction is amazing in and of itself, but the coffee is what gets me out of my office and down the street. They make great lattes, chai lattes and iced tea and have good ol' joe for traditional coffee-consumer types. He's at every event you can think of and always helping out those who need it. At the earth day celebration he even gave free iced teas to all the bikers powering the stage. His drinks are rather cheap compared to Starbucks and Collectivo, and made with more love and dedication to please his customers. I'd pick Velspresso over any coffee shop out there.

These fries are created and served by kind, considerate and talented chef(s).
