Perfect. Authentic Mexican cuisine in the middle of Wisconsin. It beats all of the competitors in the area by quite a bit, and their prices are totally reasonable for the quality. The tacos were fresh and came with the right accompaniments (grilled onions and jalapeño), plus they included some chile de arbol salsa at my request - big fan of spicy food! The gentlemen working were friendly and cooked everything up very quickly. I might be in trouble given how close I frequently am to this truck, it'll be hard to resist going back every time I'm around. Probably best lengua I've had from a truck. It can be bland sometimes but this had lots of flavor and a variety of textures. It had some connective tissue left on that was soft and slightly sticky and some contrasting crispy bits. Cabeza was also very flavorful and tender. Service was polite and fast. read more

I've tried many taco places in Milwaukee and this truck has the best hands down. I order the birria and pastor tacos, and they were a hit as usual. This is my 3rd time here and it's been consistently good, mind you I drove 30 minutes to get here. The tacos were fresh and seasoned well even the red and green hot sauce were great quality. I always loved their food don't get me wrong but my last experience was terrible and refuse to go there ever again! The woman that works at the germantown on is rude. I ordered a burrito, tamales and a Barilla soup and specially told her make sure the salsa is in there. Come to find out when we got home there was none in the bag The following day I needed gas and decided to go up to the truck and ask for the salsa and she said she specially remembered putting in the bag and she could only sell me more when she specially forgot. She wanted 50 cents per container. How petty is that? It's not about pocket change. It's principal. Own up to your mistakes! I've been there hundreds of times and recommended them to 100s of people. We often order from them at work for a group of 20 people! Well guess what no more. They lost my business and I'll spread the word of their dirty practices! read more

The best super authentic tacos! It has been a while since I had a legitimate lengua tacos. We always come here to pick up food and there's always a line. Everything is incredible!! The most authentic tacos for miles!!! BIRRA tacos were perfectly seasoned and crunchy, consume was perfect temperature. The AL PASTOR tacos though... HANDS DOWN the BEST I've ever had!! Horchata was ICE COLD, unlike most trucks who just put warm over ice. This will absolutely be my new spot for tacos. definitely worth the 27 min drive. read more

I work at the Woodmans every few days and my god my heart jumps when I see the truck parked and serving :D!!!! First off their lengua,cabeza,tripas,barbaqoa,carnitas.!! Bottom line - this may be among the best tacos in the city. Definitely north of the 94. Go there. If you're looking for a dope, traditional taco truck at a solid price point, I can't imagine you finding much better. After living near the border and getting to spend more time in and around Mexico, it kinda ruined my ability to enjoy the mass-produced fast food crap and some of the bland sit down pseudo-mexican restaurants in the same way that I used to. So it's super exciting to find a legit truck right here on the north side of MKE. Let me get into some specifics here. First, the asada is a great, nicely-crispy option for the steak lover. The pastor option also really hit the spot for that roasty hit of pork I needed. I know it's not a very common option around here, but I also highly recommend the cabeza (aka meat from the head of the cow) for those interested in exploring the menu further. If you haven't had it, it's a very meaty option that's just a bit fattier/juicer alternative to the more crispy asada steak. (I prefer these in taco vs a burrito, but my fam can't get enough of the giant cabeza burritos here.) I also enjoyed the lengua (aka cow tongue) for those who may be more "adventurous." They chop it up pretty well, so if you're so inclined to give a lengua taco a shot, you totally should! It's also just a great sign whenever a place has those kinds of options on the menu - and it gives you a chance to enjoy some variety. Along with the tacos (which are served traditionally - 2 soft tortillas with onion, cilantro, lime - tho I've heard cheese and other toppings are available on request) and very generous burritos, their tostada are also VERY dank and a pretty fine value. Lastly, if you want a side dish, I'd encourage you to give the elote a try. It's basically just roasted corn with a bit of chili powder, mayo, lime, and a sprinkle of cheese. It's a great Mexican street snack. (Note that this version is technically served esquites-style in a bowl instead of true elote style which is typically on the cob) There are multiple locations (sign of success) - this one is parked in the BP on Main st and Rozanne Dr in Menomonee Falls. Highly recommended. read more

There's a reason there's a wait for tacos here - they are excellent so everybody wants them! We had the asada and carnitas tacos. Both come loaded with flavorful meat, far more than us normally found on a street taco. The roasted pepper that comes with your order was really good as well. The guys work as quickly as they can to get through the orders but it still takes a while to get your food. Worth the wait though! read more

I personally have not had tacos from the Menomonee Falls truck but I've had them from their locations on Hampton Ave in Butler and on brown deer rd in milwaukee. I can honestly say I would go to these guys vs most sit down restaurants. I've only had their carne asada steak tacos but let me tell you, they are completely on point!
