Came in a couple of times to inquire about different guns and accessories during the whole Covid-19 time. The employees here were very professional, very knowledgeable, and did not rush anyone or gave them any kind of attitude during a high stress time. I believe that this is normal practice for them because every employee was giving the best service they could to every customer that came through the door no matter what they were in for. On my first visit I was looking for a IWB holster that unfortunately was out of stock. The employee let me know of my options even if it meant taking my business somewhere else because he wanted me to make sure I got what I wanted. On my second visit a couple days later, I came in to purchase a firearm that I had came across online. The employee was willing to educate me on anything I needed to know about the gun. He was also very thorough and professional with the paperwork process. The price was also the lowest in the valley compared to people like Sportsman's, Dick's, Scheels, and Cabela's. I really enjoy the staff and the environment. When I set out to buy my first shotgun, I started at sportsman's warehouse... After enduring 20 minutes of being told, I was an idiot in about 15 different ways I said, have a good life and left. it took me about two minutes to recognize the vibe in this store was way different than the big box approach. The staff answered all my questions and helped me find a good balance between what I thought was cool and the uses I had for the weapon. They guided me through the process and then set me up with a lane in the shooting range so I could familiarize myself with what I had bought. This is your typical gun range with around 15 lanes. Its not my favorite place to go shoot primarily because I feel its slightly overpriced but the main reason is the staff. I can't say they are all bad but a majority of them I have dealt with give off a "high and mighty" vibe and treat basic questions as if you're an idiot. read more

After going into the store a handful of times and even purchasing a firearm from them, I hate to say that I don't feel the urge to return anytime soon. I've interacted with about 5-6 employees in which only one of them was any help and provided good customer service. The rest of the employees make you feel like you're just an inconvenience in their day. Makes you not want to ask questions about anything because they give off a poor attitude. It's like they expect you as a customer to know everything about every product simply because they do (or at least think they do). Over the years I've purchased several rifles and pistols as well as ammunition and accessories from Get Some, but I will never be going back. Most of the staff are polite and helpful but the older guy who works there, typically in the back by the range, has been rude to me on more than one occasion and I've witnessed similar behavior toward other customers several times. I'll be taking all my purchases to Impact and Discount Guns and Ammo from now on. I have had the privilege of shooting at some very nice ranges around the country so it's a like comparing apples to oranges when it comes to gun ranges. The nicest to compare to is probably TNT but I have been to nicer for a lot less than what they charge for their basic bronze membership. I know this review is for Get Some not TNT. That said, Get Some's range is comparable to Doug's but thankfully Get Some doesn't have a tiny a$$ parking lot for you to park your full size truck. Get Sone is just a basic indoor range. Of course the air ventilation system could be a little better but at least it works and the lighting is adequate for you to see your target when sending lead down range. My buddy and I were getting ready to shoot when we noticed the ballistic glass partition separating our booths had a chunk shot out of it. I would like to know the story behind that. One of the reviewers commented about how bad the personalities are behind the counter. I admit there is one who could use a course in customer service because we get a chuckle about him whenever he serves us. One other guy is pretty good but he has his days and the other two are really good. I don't come here for a personality contest, I come here to shoot. Could some people be nicer, absolutely but since I moved to Utah I have learned to keep my expectations low. ----- August 1,2019 Starting to regret buying a year membership with these guys. This is the first indoor range I have been to with very crappy air conditioning. I have had cheaper memberships with better A/C. Man, I'm just on a 5 star run lately. What can I say? I was impressed by just about everything at Get Some Guns. When I walked in the door, as in most large gun shops, I was just a little bit overwhelmed by all of the selections they had to choose from. I went, not so much to buy a sidearm, but with a mission in mind. I went to replace a missing part to a very expensive pistol, and I knew that at the very least the part was going to need to be ordered. Enter Ryan. I guess that he saw the wide eyed look I had because he knew that I was sort of lost. He asked me what he could do for me. I told him that I needed an 8-shot magazine for a Walther P5 semi automatic pistol. Of course, he gave me the frown that I was afraid of. He said, "Yeah, those are kind of rare, and pretty hard to come by..." Instead of giving me the runaround, and pulling out some dusty old gun parts catalog, he said that my best bet to find one would be on the Internet. Now, what shop employee in any business tells you the best place to find what you need would be a used-part and on the Internet, to boot? Right there and on the spot, he took me over to the company computer, and logged-on to a used gun parts website. Ryan put in my information, and up popped about seven different items having to do with my particular model. And wouldn't you know it, some fellow in Alabama was selling not one, but two of the exact item I needed. I knew that the price for a new magazine would be about $89 per piece. That is, if that particular part could even be found. Sure enough, the used and in perfectly good condition magazines were being sold for $59 each. Now, because of the fine service I received, I started looking around at some of the smaller 9mm handguns to be used as my concealed carry piece. I had a general idea about which model I had the most interest in, because I had been to Cabelas earlier in the day. Cabelas had the model I was looking for, but not the correct caliber. The price for the gun I was looking for seems to be about $440.00 just about everywhere in both 9mm and .40 caliber. Ryan not only let me handle the weapon as much as I wanted, but invited me back to test fire the weapon at their in-house gun range. I had asked several other gun shops whether or not they had this particular model for rental so I might be able to shoot it before I buy it. Nobody had one, except this shop. And, by the way, the price for the model and calibre I was looking for, $389.00!!! Without question, because of the customer service I received, this is where I will be buying my handgun. I see where other Yelpers have had perhaps not as good an experience as I did, and that's cool. Everybody can have an off day. For Ryan, this was not one of those days. I heartily endorse this particular gun shop, and without question give them 5 full stars. read more

I don't have much experience with gun ranges but this place seems decent enough. Nice selection of guns to rent. The staff isn't particularly motivated to help you out but if you ask they are happy to help. I'd say the best part about this place is the other shooters there. Everyone there is just happy to help, let you try their guns, give you pointers, etc. Gun nuts, I salute you. You're all great. Back to the store now: This place is kinda expensive, its $30 for unlimited rifle / pistol rentals plus the cost of goggles, ear prot, targets, lane rental, and ammo. I took 7 friends, we rented two lanes and spent about 2 hours shooting. Our bill was $200 ish I think. Granted they got to shoot some sick guns and lots of them, but damn it adds up. So ...interested in a gun so I rented it here. Malfunctions were the norm. I couldn't even get through one mag and this was a Sig Sauer! I inspected the gun and it was absolutely filthy and desperately in need of repair. I checked with the range master and he tried 20 ways to blame my shooting style. Well, my 30 years experience as a cop took the wind out of that argument. I checked with a salesman up front and he blamed my experience on a worn out rental. Hmmm.....sure, why not? Get some here! First time we dropped by was looking for some 9mm ammunition during gun craze period. We tried to get people to help us but they are always busy. So we only found Remington 9mm. What a piece of crap! Jammed the Italian made Beretta FS 92 5 times in one round. Next time, we dropped by to find couple Ruger's magazines and holster. Staffs were busy again. However, they got what we were looking for and surprisingly couple dollar cheaper than Amazon's price. Get Some, go have pretty nice firearms collection here. The price is ok/normal. One nice thing about here, you can shoot higher power rifles here at the range. $15 one person. $24 for 2 person sharing a lane. Oh man, sometime waiting for range is pretty darn long! Especially in Winter. This Get Some store is ok but the Orem's one is much better and bigger! That's what she said! And Get Some there! Little chip on there shoulders because they have to answer the same question over and over and over but hey, that's there job! If customers dont feel comfortable asking questions they won't be back! Only range I could find to rent the glock 42 and micro kahr .380. The range was clean, prices were standard from I've seen. The glass between the ranges might be bullet resistant, which if so, is a plus. I've seen some crazy stuff at various ranges over the years. Thankfully, I didn't see any unsafe shooters. The amount of lanes is pretty small, but the selection of guns was certainly decent for what we were in the market for. It is a pretty small place. The other get some stores actually didn't have the two guns we were looking to rent. The unlimited exchange of different guns we wanted to try came in handy. Small selection of some cool looking select fire / full auto stuff. Way cheaper for that than other full auto rentals I've seen. read more

Despite rating only three stars and some negative reviews, I decided to come here with my two sons who are 15 and 9 years old to rent some guns and shoot as much as we wanted before breaking for lunch. We arrived at opening time which is 10:00 am to get ahead of a busy time if necessary. I first want to say that ALL three associates who assisted us were very friendly, helpful, and informative. Safety is a large concern here like the way which I was taught in Small Arms training. I would suspect that any bad reviews of this place is from impatient customers who were there at an extremely busy time where the associates time had to be divided among all those in the store. My 9 year old had never used a firearm before and was a little intimidated at first but they were concerned to find something that he could enjoy. I don't own any guns but have been trained to use them for my profession. They set us up with an unlimited gun rental flat rate but we purchased ammo at their store. Hearing and eyewear protection was provided. Overall we had the best time possible and it was a great experience there at Get Some. We were able to shoot two kinds of rifles and three kinds of handguns in the two hours we spent there. Great time.......hope to return again!! read more

I have been into this store many times and have never had one thing to complain about. (Provo store is just as great been there many times also and no complaints) Bunch of friendly great guys that love to talk about guns. I had a problem with my rifle not firing properly so I took it in there and they test fired it for me and every single person that works there looked it over and gave me their thoughts. We eventually figured it out and it's working properly now. Thanks to those guys info and letting me use there range just to test fire, my rifle is working great now. I can't thank all those guys enough for what they do everyday! I would say that what people are saying about this place is correct. I've been here a few times to shoot, and everything is straight forward, very little conversation, and always had a great time. Today my brother an I came in to buy ARs and the first gentleman we spoke to was cool, and always was. The second was a dick, it's like he didn't know what costumer service is. He cut me off when I was talking, in reference to what was needed for purchase, because i'm in the military. They lost 2 sales today, and received a bad review.So when people say people there are douche-bags working here, it's true, and I see that now. I'm going to shoot elsewhere and purchase elsewhere. I enjoy their shooting range but find that it is a bit expensive. The poor review comes from the staff that I have dealt with. I went to the shop inquiring about purchasing an AK47. The guy who was helping me very arrogantly asks me if I wanted it in a 7.62x39 or .308 and seems genuinely put out that I didn't specify. I didn't even know that the .308 was an option prior to having the "gun god" share with me his irritation and wisdom. This has more or less been the theme in doing business with them.
