Super fast, super friendly, super professional. And goes above and beyond with service and knowledge

The instructor definitely knows his stuff, is really informed and is great at explaining a lot to you. That part of it was really good, and if that's all that there was to say it would be a higher rating. But... here's where the stars start to go down. 1st up, this is not a class room environment so know that going in. It's in his home, in his living room on a couch. Which isn't terrible except that you're sitting on a couch for 5+ hours which is super uncomfortable. 2nd up, they bring in a salesman that will pitch you lawyer insurance essentially and that took up over an hour of time (which made us go an hour over time) Lastly, I would say they could have handled the admin/fingerprinting part a little better. They waited until the last 20 minutes of the supposed class time to start this process for 10+ people which as you can tell, took forever. I think if they just focused on getting a better environment for the class, getting rid of the salesman, and being a little better with time management they could increase the stars. read more

I can't recommend this class enough. Steve instruction, guidance and knowledge is above and beyond. His approach is very hands on, which gives you a visual to his lesson and makes it even more retainable. His emphasis on safety is priceless to a novice gun handler as well as the seasoned gun handler. You will not be disappointed with whatever service you choose, because it's truly a "one stop shop." read more

Awesome Concealed Carry Class for all levels of experience! Steve is top-notch all the way around. He's genuine, knowledgeable, friendly, and presents the information (especially the laws) in an easy-to-understand manner. From my perspective, he's truly dedicated to giving the best education to his students. Excellent gun, body, and surrounding environment awareness, gun handling abilities, and dissemination of easy-to-understand gun laws on his site. On top of all that, he provides you with the course material and explains the proper way to clear malfunctions vs what other instructors wrongfully advise. I had to drive 50+ minutes for this class and it was completely worth it. I would highly recommend this course to anyone. If Steve was closer, I would use him as my FFL dealer. Steve is a fantastic classroom instructor and also the very best firearms instructor that I have ever known. He is a former U.S. Marine and Afghanistan War veteran and is currently an active practicing armed security officer and trainer. He is extremely patient and flexible which with his stellar credentials you might not expect but he truly is a really nice guy. His unarmed security officer class is interesting and thorough and his students therefore virtually always pass the State exam. His armed security officer class is even more riveting and his firearms instruction will make you a better shooter no matter how good you already are. I plan to use Steve for all my continuing education and requalification requirements. You cannot find a better instructor than Steve. read more
