It felt more like a political soapbox than an educational course. The second instructor did stay more on topic, but then shifted into promoting a legal protection membership (USCCA) that costs about $400 a year, which came across more like a sales pitch than meaningful training. Overall, I left feeling that the class didn't deliver what was advertised. I expected professional instruction on concealed carry requirements, but instead got politics and promotions. I don't think it was worth what I paid, and I'd hesitate to recommend it to others unless the course content is refocused on actual firearms education.

Spanish just never made sense to me and being forced to memorize words, conjunctions, and tenses was downright boring. Earlier this year I planned to visit Colombia and hoped to learn more Spanish in preparation for my trip. I wanted to be more conversational during our travels and to be able to get around easier. I knew I wouldn't be able to master Spanish in a few weeks, but I wanted to learn as much as possible to make my trip more enjoyable and fun. I discovered EL KING Language Institute was near my home and called them to learn more about their Spanish classes. They invited me to attend a sample class and I showed up that next week for an evening class with Dr. Thomas Quiroz.
