Ask for jeff if you want a good cut!!!! His fades are the best in the valley I will return

On haircut alone, I may be a little generous here. But take into consideration the big picture: you just spent five bucks on something that otherwise costs $15, $20, or a full Benny for the frou frou folk. Five bucks. Here's what you need to know. These are barbers that are cranking out haircuts to learn the trade. Some of them are quite new. Some are not. Think about your classes in high school. Some of your classmates were stellar students that studied and got straight A's. Some slept through class. When you show up at The Barber School, you've really got not way of knowing. Luckily they are supervised, but you just have to know up front that it could be the luck of the draw. Hence the fiver. My fella was about to graduate. He was a nice enough kid and I wish him well, but he was still a little timid. It took a good half hour to finish my haircut (last time I got it cut was a world record at under five minutes, but that was at a chain place in Las Vegas) and the quality of the cut is okay. Not my best ever, but not the worst. So was it worth the five bucks? You bet. And leave a tip, wouldya? These guys may be students, and the cheap price is really the star of the show, but they're still people. Throw down a few bills and you're still out for under $10. That's half of what I normally paid, and I'm a cheapskate.

Went here for the cheap priced haircut since I usually just get a 2 1 with a fade. Was cut to my expectation.

**UPDATE** To date I still haven't heard anything from Cameo…read moreor Kaylee. Kaylee had posted photos on Instagram only of the side of my hair that looked ok. I quickly commented about the review left on google and yelp and the post was then taken down so I know it was seen. I didn't use names in the review but since she decided to share herself I will update this review so anyone going in knows who to look out for. I wish this had a different outcome but this is on Cameo and Kaylee for not following through. New photos from her IG page of my hair. My comment is at the bottom so you can see what I said before she deleted the post.

I scheduled a wash cut and blow dry and walked in 10 minutes early. I was seated at my station…read moreclose to my appointment time. I showed the student what I wanted with my hair and was told that my ask wasn't " realistic" which honestly should've been the moment I just left because I would feel like I asked for something very basic. I wanted long layers and not a lot of my hair cut off. I walked in with my hair length close to the end of my back, and I walked out with shoulder, cut hair. The student herself literally could not even do a simple haircut. She had to keep getting her instructor to help her. I have extremely thick, long curly hair. I wish the student had said she wasn't comfortable working with my type of hair because I honestly feel like I was her first client ever in her life. She sat me down and washed my hair, barely even scrubbing the product in my hair afterwards she had me sit and wait for her instructor. She had cut the bottom of my hair dry before to avoid over cutting it however when her instructor started cutting it with a razor I should've ran. I came in at 9:30 and literally left at 12 PM. I understand that these are students however I really think that hands-on learning with a student should be focused on dolls first until they're ready to actually cut human hair. My once really long curly beautiful hair is now completely uneven layers. I now have to pay an extra $60-$100 just to get it fixed. I literally have not cut my hair in two years because of stuff like this. I will literally never cut my hair again. Please do not waste your time getting your haircut here, especially if you have really long curly hair. I only have a video of what I walked out of the salon looking like. I wish I took photos it was SO BAD. Also, when they blow dried my hair, they didn't even finish blow drying it. It was still wet and there were two students working on my hair with two different type of blow drying techniques so my hair looked absolutely freaking ridiculous. They also put moose in my hair, which made my hair crispy and gross and then at the end of my three hour appointment for a simple cut and blow dry This student had the audacity to literally walk me all the way to the pay station and wait for a tip. Like UHHH NO MAM YOUR NOT GETTING A DIME YOU RUINED MY HAIR. IM GOING TO BE ROCKING BUNS FOR MONTHS TO AVOID THE LENGTH OF MY HAIR. I'm LIVID . DONT EVER GO HERE JUST GO TO A DAMN PROFESSIONAL.

Taylor Andrews…read morestarted their Basic and Master Aesthetic programs at the beginning of 2020 and have come so far in just one year. There are so many services offered, and the actual program is one of the best. I looked at a lot of schools before I picked Taylor Andrews and I haven't regretted the decision once. They offer, basic, master, and level 4 laser training. You also get certified in classic and volume lashes, as well as a full makeup artistry course. The spa area and treatment rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. I'm obsessed to say the least! The instructors are so knowledgeable and amazing. I'm so thankful and grateful for the opportunity to attend Taylor Andrews.

But the front desk completely changed the tone of the visit. When I arrived to watch my granddaughter, I simply asked where my daughter was. While I was standing right there, the two receptionists referred to my daughter as "the problem client" -- all because she had her baby with her. That comment was unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly pretty bold to say in front of a family member. Her one‑year‑old sat quietly for two and a half hours without crying, fussing, or disturbing anyone. We even called ahead to confirm it was okay to bring her, and we were told yes. We live in Utah -- families bring their kids places. It's normal, and it certainly doesn't make someone a "problem." And just to be transparent: you caught me on a calm day. All I wanted to do was get to my grandbaby. On a different day, with a comment like that, I might've been the one you considered "the problem." So I'm choosing to address it respectfully here instead of reacting in the moment. Everyone else in the salon was kind and welcoming, but that front‑desk interaction overshadowed an otherwise great experience. I'm not asking for anything; I just want you to be aware of how it came across. Respect and professionalism at the front desk matter, and comments like that stick with people.
