I have pretty low maintenance hair and refused to pay salon prices for my regular trim. The school…read moreis an awesome way to save some money while still getting the salon experience with a wash and style. Just absolutely be prepared to spend twice as much time there as you would at a regular salon, they are students so they move slower, if you have the time I highly recommend.

Today my friend and I went to get pedicure and manicure at Paul Mitchell school in SLC. My friend…read moremade a comment to the student that the student gave her the color she did not choose. My friend said the student does not have to redo, she would live with it. The student left the room and my friend thought she went to get nail polish to do her fingernails. We were shocked when an instructor named Jesse walked in and told my friend and I that we made the student cried and we are unsafe for her. Jessy said out loud for everyone to hear that my friend and I are not welcome back to Paul Mitchell school. We were shocked and do not understand what safety has to do with my friend expressing that she did not get the color of her toenails she wanted. My friend did not yell, did not get upset, and she was polite. I tried to talk to the director but another instructor named Alex came and said she would take care of this. I explained what really happened and Alex said she heard a different story from the student. She also said she would back up Jesse and we are not welcome to this place from here on out. Alex also said she knew that I made a complaint against her in the past when I got to school and was told I did not have an appointment when I did. WOW! We are dealing with untouchable super sensitive group of people. You cannot express your feelings, you cannot complain, you cannot breath without getting kicked out from Paul Mitchell. I urge others not to use their business, unless you are dumb, meaning you cannot talk, don't have hand to write a complaint, and would take any abuse with a smiling face.

I am so lucky to be able to attend one of the best Aesthetic programs out there. Taylor Andrews…read morestarted their Basic and Master Aesthetic programs at the beginning of 2020 and have come so far in just one year. There are so many services offered, and the actual program is one of the best. I looked at a lot of schools before I picked Taylor Andrews and I haven't regretted the decision once. They offer, basic, master, and level 4 laser training. You also get certified in classic and volume lashes, as well as a full makeup artistry course. The spa area and treatment rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. I'm obsessed to say the least! The instructors are so knowledgeable and amazing. I'm so thankful and grateful for the opportunity to attend Taylor Andrews.

I wanted to share some feedback about my daughter's recent appointment. Her cut and color were…read morebeautiful, and the stylists themselves were wonderful. But the front desk completely changed the tone of the visit. When I arrived to watch my granddaughter, I simply asked where my daughter was. While I was standing right there, the two receptionists referred to my daughter as "the problem client" -- all because she had her baby with her. That comment was unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly pretty bold to say in front of a family member. Her one‑year‑old sat quietly for two and a half hours without crying, fussing, or disturbing anyone. We even called ahead to confirm it was okay to bring her, and we were told yes. We live in Utah -- families bring their kids places. It's normal, and it certainly doesn't make someone a "problem." And just to be transparent: you caught me on a calm day. All I wanted to do was get to my grandbaby. On a different day, with a comment like that, I might've been the one you considered "the problem." So I'm choosing to address it respectfully here instead of reacting in the moment. Everyone else in the salon was kind and welcoming, but that front‑desk interaction overshadowed an otherwise great experience. I'm not asking for anything; I just want you to be aware of how it came across. Respect and professionalism at the front desk matter, and comments like that stick with people.
