**UPDATE** To date I still haven't heard anything from Cameo…read moreor Kaylee. Kaylee had posted photos on Instagram only of the side of my hair that looked ok. I quickly commented about the review left on google and yelp and the post was then taken down so I know it was seen. I didn't use names in the review but since she decided to share herself I will update this review so anyone going in knows who to look out for. I wish this had a different outcome but this is on Cameo and Kaylee for not following through. New photos from her IG page of my hair. My comment is at the bottom so you can see what I said before she deleted the post.

I scheduled a wash cut and blow dry and walked in 10 minutes early. I was seated at my station…read moreclose to my appointment time. I showed the student what I wanted with my hair and was told that my ask wasn't " realistic" which honestly should've been the moment I just left because I would feel like I asked for something very basic. I wanted long layers and not a lot of my hair cut off. I walked in with my hair length close to the end of my back, and I walked out with shoulder, cut hair. The student herself literally could not even do a simple haircut. She had to keep getting her instructor to help her. I have extremely thick, long curly hair. I wish the student had said she wasn't comfortable working with my type of hair because I honestly feel like I was her first client ever in her life. She sat me down and washed my hair, barely even scrubbing the product in my hair afterwards she had me sit and wait for her instructor. She had cut the bottom of my hair dry before to avoid over cutting it however when her instructor started cutting it with a razor I should've ran. I came in at 9:30 and literally left at 12 PM. I understand that these are students however I really think that hands-on learning with a student should be focused on dolls first until they're ready to actually cut human hair. My once really long curly beautiful hair is now completely uneven layers. I now have to pay an extra $60-$100 just to get it fixed. I literally have not cut my hair in two years because of stuff like this. I will literally never cut my hair again. Please do not waste your time getting your haircut here, especially if you have really long curly hair. I only have a video of what I walked out of the salon looking like. I wish I took photos it was SO BAD. Also, when they blow dried my hair, they didn't even finish blow drying it. It was still wet and there were two students working on my hair with two different type of blow drying techniques so my hair looked absolutely freaking ridiculous. They also put moose in my hair, which made my hair crispy and gross and then at the end of my three hour appointment for a simple cut and blow dry This student had the audacity to literally walk me all the way to the pay station and wait for a tip. Like UHHH NO MAM YOUR NOT GETTING A DIME YOU RUINED MY HAIR. IM GOING TO BE ROCKING BUNS FOR MONTHS TO AVOID THE LENGTH OF MY HAIR. I'm LIVID . DONT EVER GO HERE JUST GO TO A DAMN PROFESSIONAL.

I've been in Salt Lake for about a year and a half. I have been looking and looking for a Nail…read moreSalon to land. I think I found that in the Pink Bubble Salon. My nail artist, Allyssa, is very good at her job. She not only listens to what I ask for, but she gets the shape and the length perfect. I've only had one design by her so far, but I'm looking forward to having her work on some other nail designs for me. I also had the pedicure. The pedicure is a water free pedicure, which at first worried me because my feet are pretty dry. But the outcome was very good! I found that my feet felt better doing it this way than having my feet soaking water first. Definitely coming back for a pedicure again as well.

I had a manicure here. I left, and within a week, 2 of my nails were broken. The "gel" was so thin…read moreyou could see through it. It was so thin you could press on my nails, and they would bend! Don't you get gel nail polish to prevent this? I have never had a gel manicure of such poor quality. And it's not like I was going cheap; the manicure was ((edit: I had put over $100 in an original review, and in fact it was $79.33 with an additional $25 spent on cuticle oil)). I had upgraded the gel ((edit: I did pay for a more expensive gel and expect any gel in a manicure not to bend when you touch the end of your nail)). I will not go back as I don't like my nails breaking to the point they hurt. I had 7 / 10 nails break so low on my fingers that it hurt, and I am gentle on my nails. Save your time and go somewhere else.

I am so lucky to be able to attend one of the best Aesthetic programs out there. Taylor Andrews…read morestarted their Basic and Master Aesthetic programs at the beginning of 2020 and have come so far in just one year. There are so many services offered, and the actual program is one of the best. I looked at a lot of schools before I picked Taylor Andrews and I haven't regretted the decision once. They offer, basic, master, and level 4 laser training. You also get certified in classic and volume lashes, as well as a full makeup artistry course. The spa area and treatment rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. I'm obsessed to say the least! The instructors are so knowledgeable and amazing. I'm so thankful and grateful for the opportunity to attend Taylor Andrews.

I wanted to share some feedback about my daughter's recent appointment. Her cut and color were…read morebeautiful, and the stylists themselves were wonderful. But the front desk completely changed the tone of the visit. When I arrived to watch my granddaughter, I simply asked where my daughter was. While I was standing right there, the two receptionists referred to my daughter as "the problem client" -- all because she had her baby with her. That comment was unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly pretty bold to say in front of a family member. Her one‑year‑old sat quietly for two and a half hours without crying, fussing, or disturbing anyone. We even called ahead to confirm it was okay to bring her, and we were told yes. We live in Utah -- families bring their kids places. It's normal, and it certainly doesn't make someone a "problem." And just to be transparent: you caught me on a calm day. All I wanted to do was get to my grandbaby. On a different day, with a comment like that, I might've been the one you considered "the problem." So I'm choosing to address it respectfully here instead of reacting in the moment. Everyone else in the salon was kind and welcoming, but that front‑desk interaction overshadowed an otherwise great experience. I'm not asking for anything; I just want you to be aware of how it came across. Respect and professionalism at the front desk matter, and comments like that stick with people.
