My friend said the student does not have to redo, she would live with it. The student left the room and my friend thought she went to get nail polish to do her fingernails. We were shocked when an instructor named Jesse walked in and told my friend and I that we made the student cried and we are unsafe for her. Jessy said out loud for everyone to hear that my friend and I are not welcome back to Paul Mitchell school. We were shocked and do not understand what safety has to do with my friend expressing that she did not get the color of her toenails she wanted. My friend did not yell, did not get upset, and she was polite. I tried to talk to the director but another instructor named Alex came and said she would take care of this. I explained what really happened and Alex said she heard a different story from the student. She also said she would back up Jesse and we are not welcome to this place from here on out. Alex also said she knew that I made a complaint against her in the past when I got to school and was told I did not have an appointment when I did. WOW! We are dealing with untouchable super sensitive group of people. You cannot express your feelings, you cannot complain, you cannot breath without getting kicked out from Paul Mitchell. I urge others not to use their business, unless you are dumb, meaning you cannot talk, don't have hand to write a complaint, and would take any abuse with a smiling face.

I quickly commented about the review left on google and yelp and the post was then taken down so I know it was seen. I didn't use names in the review but since she decided to share herself I will update this review so anyone going in knows who to look out for. I wish this had a different outcome but this is on Cameo and Kaylee for not following through. New photos from her IG page of my hair. My nail artist, Allyssa, is very good at her job. She not only listens to what I ask for, but she gets the shape and the length perfect. I've only had one design by her so far, but I'm looking forward to having her work on some other nail designs for me. I also had the pedicure. The pedicure is a water free pedicure, which at first worried me because my feet are pretty dry. But the outcome was very good! This place has NO atmosphere whatsoever terrible lighting, ugly, "institutional" feeling. The student did nothing to remove the dead skin and calluses on the bottom of my feet (no pumice stone, filing, etc.). I had to ASK her to cut my long toenails (she wouldn't have if I hadn't specifically asked). She used gel polish when I requested regular, and I had to pay extra to get the gel removed the next time I went for a pedicure (at a real salon). No instructor supervision at all -- there was no one to quality-check her work or to ask me for feedback (which is desperately needed if this student ever wants to learn how to do a proper pedicure service). I would absolutely never go again.

Her one‑year‑old sat quietly for two and a half hours without crying, fussing, or disturbing anyone. We even called ahead to confirm it was okay to bring her, and we were told yes. We live in Utah -- families bring their kids places. It's normal, and it certainly doesn't make someone a "problem." And just to be transparent: you caught me on a calm day. All I wanted to do was get to my grandbaby. On a different day, with a comment like that, I might've been the one you considered "the problem." So I'm choosing to address it respectfully here instead of reacting in the moment. I went to EMT Utah for my Basic EMT and it was probably the worst education I have ever received…read more Instructors were inattentive, lacked communication, and disorganized. While taking the course there were two days when instructors did not even show up to the class. And when they did, they often did not know what they needed to go over that day because there were so many different instructors and they would not communicate with each other. It took 3 attempts to pass the NREMT as I felt like the education was lacking and I had to teach myself everything in the textbook after class was over. Of those I have talked to from class, only about half of them say they were capable of passing the NREMT, showing a huge flaw in the education received from EMT Utah.

The instructors are amazing and really hold you to a higher standard, meaning that they are providing you with more knowledge and education that most other institutions would ever consider, which overall prepares you better for the national exam.
