Was greeted by the owner, and just the fact she was there told me all I needed to know. Small but cozy space in a strip mall setting, I will probably do a kid free date night here once they get the alcohol going. I rarely find restaurants that exceed expectations on food, service and ambiance. This is one. I ordered the chicken piccata, works pizza, penne bolognese and salad. All were top notch, my kids actually cleaned their plates, and the pizza may be the best in town. When I reheated it, the crust was optimally crispy. I will eat here again, soon

The "Restaurant Kid" Litmus Test: Parisi Passes with Flying Colors…read more On my first day in Denver, a childhood friend took me to lunch at Parisi, though he was admittedly a bit apprehensive. Having grown up with Italian heritage on both sides and parents who owned an Italian restaurant, I am notoriously hard to please when it comes to authentic cuisine. He was worried I'd be overcritical; instead, I was completely charmed. Located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood, Parisi offers the kind of authenticity that is rare to find. Here is why it earned a perfect score from a tough critic: The Main Course: The Tagliatelle Ragu was balanced and traditional--exactly what you want from a high-caliber kitchen. The "Woodfire" Factor: The aroma of the woodfire pizza oven hits you the moment you walk in. While we opted to eat inside rather than on the lovely patio, those scents alone convinced me that I have to return specifically for the pizza next time. The Grand Finale: I had to finish the meal with my favorite, Stracciatella gelato. It was the perfect creamy, artisanal end to a fantastic lunch. The service was seamless, the ambiance was inviting, and the food spoke for itself. If you're looking for a spot that feels like a true slice of Italy in the middle of Denver, this is it. I'll definitely be back to tackle that pizza menu!

We were all interested so she made the table a carafe of sangria to share. It was tasty! We started with the roasted garlic and bread as well as an order of the bruschetta to share. Delish! I ordered the butternut squash ravioli, my friend got the chicken picada with spaghetti noodles, her daughter had the chicken parm with angel hair noodles and her son-in-law had the carbonara. I chose to get the house salad with Italian dressing with my entree. I love their house salad because it is not one of those phoned in lettuce, cucumber and a couple grape tomato things you would get elsewhere. This salad has croutons, olives, red onion, garbanzo beans and crisp lettuce. The dressing brings it all together. We decided to do something unconventional with our dinners. We used a 5-minutes timer and every 5-minutes we would shift our plates clockwise so everyone got to try each others dishes. We giggled because every time our server passed, we had a different dish in front of us. Everything was tasty. I will most definitely be getting the butternut squash ravioli again. That is a treat. It was a great evening.

I ate the whole plate, which was just right for me. I really liked the food, and the waitress was super friendly, so I had plenty of time to enjoy everything. It was a busy place, the food looked good, and the music was a bit loud. They had a patio, if there was seating available I would have picked that. We were pretty full when we left, but we did order dessert (tiramisu). It's been a while since I've been here, but it seems to still be one of the best pizza places, I know.

She had good suggestions for food to order and very attentive to our table. We all picked something out. Several of them were things she recommended. we ordered gluten-free bread with roasted garlic oil dipping sauce. One person in our group was gluten-free and we had to ask three times if it was really gluten-free bread, because it was that good. We ordered spaghetti with sausage, rigatoni with sausage, baked, and a Margarita pizza. We all had glasses of wine and the food came out fairly quickly and the plates look spectacular. My Baked Chicken rigatoni was perfect, lots of gooey creamy cheese on top and a fair amount of sausage mixed in with the rigatoni and marinara cream sauce. The spaghetti with sausage also delicious. The Margarita pizza was way too big for a single person to eat and I think we all had a slice. Our server Morgan suggested several desserts, but nobody seem to be ready for that. Maybe next time we can sample the desserts. The dining room was quite full, but it wasn't too loud or noisy. It was a very enjoyable dinner. My two recommendations, the gluten-free bread with the roasted garlic, dipping sauce, and the rigatoni with sausage baked.

Our waiter, Jakobi, was fantastic! He was extremely friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the precautions they take when preparing gluten-free items. It's always reassuring when a server understands gluten-free needs and can confidently answer questions. We started with the gluten-free calamari and gluten-free Burrata Bruschetta. Both came out quickly and were absolutely delicious! For dinner, my daughter and I shared a gluten-free pizza and the gluten-free cheese ravioli. The pasta and pizza were honestly some of the best gluten-free food we have had. My husband ordered the wings and pepperoni rolls and really enjoyed his meal as well. Even though we were completely stuffed, we couldn't leave without trying dessert! We ordered the brownie sundae and cappuccino mousse pie, and both were delicious. Over the years, we have eaten at many restaurants that offer gluten-free options, and this place easily makes our top five. The variety of gluten-free choices, the quality of the food, and the knowledgeable staff really stood out. It's not often that we find a restaurant where we have this many options and everything tastes this good. We will absolutely be back the next time we're in town.
