Conundrum Escape Rooms - Inside the waiting area

Conundrum Escape Rooms

Conundrum Escape Rooms was such a great way to spend the holiday afternoon. We arrived with another…read morecouple and met Keegan fairly soon after walking in. The lobby area is small, but definitely large enough to hold a decent sized group. There was a video with information, tips and tricks about playing and storage lockers built into the bench seating. And some water, if you needed to mentally prepare for the journey ahead, lol. Keegan has the kind of voice that commands your attention but makes you also wanna pay attention - what a great fit. So, when he greeted us with a cheery hello, we all smiled. It only got better from there. We booked "A Cabin in the Woods" and learned later that this was a non linear escape room. The room included upwards of 30 separate puzzles and didn't require that you complete any of the puzzles in any particular order - perfect for us and any team who has lots of type A folks. We worked together on some things and separately on others, all the while coming back to scratch our heads, bellow out in laughter when Keegan jumped in for a hint we finally decided to ask for and realized we were all over thinking it(again). It was a blast. We were all very busy for the entire hour. No one will be bored. I've been a part of several escape rooms prior to Conundrum but this room was hands down the best. We all commented about how thoughtful the puzzles were, how creative and funny some were and how very detailed others were. There was something for everyone and many puzzles built upon one another, but not all. So good. Keegan was fabulous as well. When we broke down to ask for help, he helped - he didn't outright tell us, but it was very obvious he had been mindfully watching our journey and reminded us of things we had found or did previously - and all in that great voice. I can still hear him saying, "Hello there, campers!" and bless him, for playfully letting us know that the "storm" outside our cabin had stalled out and would be around for a few minutes longer. Keegan, you know as well as we did, we needed that extra time, lol! We had a blast. Keegan was great and there's a cool surprise at the end, when you've ended the experience - also not something I've seen with other escape rooms. We will be back. If you want to stretch your brain a little while laughing, spending time with friends and feeling a bit under pressure, this escape room has your name on it! Go, you will thank me later!

Rabbit Hole blew us away, both the first and second times. I will probably be comparing other rooms to these from now on. Some things that stood out: 1. Stellar customer service. They value your experience first and foremost, being willing to flexibly accomodate your needs and ensure you have a great time. (For instance, they allowed us to book a second hour at half off for one of the rooms, so we had plenty of time to finish without hints. Even though we used about 20 more min. of that, it was great to have that extra time to absorb the scenario, set, and puzzles. 2. Prioritize human connection. They were friendly right from walking in the door and demonstrated that they cared about us as people, not just customers. They were happy to answer any questions before and after. (They even offered to show us their "control room" where the magic happened.) 3. Attention to detail. From that first moment in the escape room, you can tell they're passionate about their craft. Each prop/element looks elegant and fits the theme. We never felt distracted from the story. The sound design and music are very immersive. (I would not recommend it to little kids for that reason.) 4. Challenging but achievable. Despite being escape room novices, we successfully completed each room, although we had to rely heavily on hints sometimes. The gamemasters paced the game well, providing help when necessary to keep us on track. We never felt bored or let down by the puzzles. 5. Team-building. Regardless of frustrations along the way, we left feeling empowered, encouraged, and unified after surmounting the challenges. 6. Low-key atmosphere. Though they have to keep a schedule, there was no sense of feeling rushed. They are also totally fine with pictures and videos inside and outside the room, as long as you don't post any spoilers. Age-appropriate; nothing crass or gruesome. Highly recommend to novices and aficionados alike. Hope they make a new room soon! NOTE: I'd recommend no more than 4-5 players for all three rooms, unless some will mainly watch. Our larger group of 7 ended up creating more chaos in Frost Base Z, whereas our group of 3 more active players and 3 more passive players finished Paradox (supposed to be the hardest room) without major hiccups.

We barely escaped Ruins and we didn't escape Frost Base Z, but they were both great rooms that we highly recommend. Very immersive, great variety of puzzles, and awesome sets! One puzzle in Ruins was a little touchy and a couple puzzles in Frost Base Z were very hard, but we also only had two people so might be better with at least one more person. Our game master Rebekah was more than amazing, grateful for her! Must play rooms when in Denver!

This is a unique experience that is great for friends, or work/organization team buildings. Bridget and Zach were our hosts and they were great! They explained everything really well. We were able to buy some very reasonably priced beer and wine before going in for our 1 hour game. The games themselves were quite fun. It's nice that they have other game options so the experience can look different every time. The only downside is having to pay for all the spots in advance-- understandable, but also challenging if someone cancels last minute. It's about $40/person before gratuity.

The games were already fun but his presence blew up the fun meter. Jordan and staff was 10/10. My coworkers and I attended GSBR as part of our Holiday Party. We drew color chips out of a hat to determine which team we would be on: red or blue. We then were led to a room with two large tables color coordinated and lights simulating a game show. NOTE: They sold drinks at the front and required you to purchase your drinks ahead of time before entering the room. The room had a small fridge to keep them cool. We played survey battle, match up wars, cups (not like you've seen) and more. Our team had a blast, cause we won. The blue team had fun too but wants a rematch. I'm sure we'll back for some redemption rounds.

There is so much detail put into every aspect of every room and puzzle, it's extremely impressive. I did the Egyptian room and the Casino room back to back last night with some friends and Gabby made the experience unforgettable! She's funny and very on top of everything which we greatly appreciated. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Before booking, I…read morecalled and spoke with their very friendly and helpful staff, who specifically recommended the casino room as their most challenging one. Naturally, we came in expecting a real challenge. In reality, we finished the room in under 35 minutes, and not because we're exceptionally brilliant. The experience felt surprisingly limited. There is essentially one main room, and while there is a second space, it doesn't contain any actual puzzles. Overall, there simply weren't enough puzzles to justify the "most challenging" label. The room feels like a first-generation escape room: lots of keys and locks, with a few nicer tech elements mixed in, but nothing particularly complex or layered. Most of us walked out surprised at how quickly it was over. What added to the confusion was receiving clues we didn't ask for, even though we were progressing just fine and ultimately escaped with about 25 minutes to spare. All in all, it was disappointing, especially given that this room was presented as their toughest, with a supposed 30% escape rate.
