Giving 1 star because there was an adequate technician who fixed my issue. I walked in for a basic mani and pedi to hold me over until my upcoming trip. The first tech did a TERRIBLE job and when I asked her to clean it up and smooth it out she "didn't understand" and the other excuse was "because you're not getting gel". I asked to have that polish removed and another nail tech did a WAY better job! They allowed a technician to compromise quality of service over everything and it was super unprofessional. read more

I love this place! This is my GO TO place. I have been going here off an on for years. Lee (the owner) always does a great job on my nails and Yen does a fantastic job on my toes. The service is fast and thorough. Right now, I get SNS nails because I eventually want to wear only my natural nails. It's a little more expensive but I think it's worth it to achieve my goal. I've read some of the other reviewers comments....yes, they could stand to expand, but as for cobwebs and dirt all over the place....no I'm not sure what she was seeing. The place is clean. There are a lot of people coming in and out of here because it's a busy location, but the tools are always clean and in the 12+ years I've been coming here, I've never had a fungus or any discoloration on my toe nails or finger nails. I cannot say that for other shops that I've been to. Lee is very conscientious about his work which is great for me because I have a touch of OCD. If my nails are misshapen or don't match the other hand, I notice right away and I am bothered by it until the problem is corrected. I rarely have that issue with Lee's work because he is meticulous and fast with it. I used to get squared nails, but recently I've been going for a rounded more natural looking nail and I love it every time. Yen does a great job with my pedicures and eyebrows. She is very fast and the pedicures are always soothing. She keeps me sandal-ready even in the winter months. Lol. Unfortunately, they don't offer threading here, and I don't wax my brows anymore. However, I don't really want to drive all out of my way just to get my eyebrows threaded. On a side note, I stopped waxing because apparently waxing breaks down the sensitive skin around your eye area and over time you develop "hoods." I don't know how true that is, but I'm not taking any chances. So, since they don't offer threading, I get my eyebrows plucked. It lasts much longer than waxing used to last for me. I do wish that they offered threading, but this is the next best thing. I love the consistent work of this shop. You'll notice many repeat customers, and the fact that they are one of the few shops that is still open 7 days a week is a HUGE bonus. Getting everything in on a Saturday is often impossible, and I'm able to rest better and take my time on a Sunday anyway. Lastly, many times you go to Asian nail salons and the language barrier is high. That's not the case here. Lee is a graduate of Georgia State and speaks and understands English very well and so does his wife, but even the other technicians have a great understanding of English. I've never had to over-explain anything ever, nor have I ever felt excluded or rudeness where people around you are constantly speaking another language while you are being serviced. Honestly, I try to recommend places that have good services AND customer service and this place checks all of the boxes for me. Give it a try....feel free to "borrow" my techs. :) read more

This nail salon is the most unprofessional salon my wife has ever been to. They don't know how to take criticism without blowing up like a child and then told her to leave because they couldn't get right how she wanted her nails. When she first walked in they told her to have a seat and the woman who was doing her nails was eating and then came down and was touching her hands, didn't even wash her hands. Then when she couldn't get right what my wife wanted she got a different dude to try and fix the nails. The guy blew up after my wife nicely tried to explain what she didn't like about the nail and told her to leave and go find another place to do her nails. Homeboy really acted like a whole child because she wasn't happy how the nail was looking. The lady starting talking s*it with the people around her about my wife and giving her dirty looks. When my wife tried to ask what she did wrong the woman told her to shut up and she was just going to take the nails of so she can go somewhere else. She felt ganged up because three people came over to tell her they can't do it and she needs to go somewhere else. So unprofessional and extremely rude. They won't listen to críquet/hints. Stop going to these salons and find you a good nail technician because the way salons charge for poorly done services and s*itty customers service is beyond me for real. read more

Basic mani is $13 and basic pedi is $15. Their service is horrible. I told them, since they asked so many times, that I want French white tip on my fingernails. She asked what color and I said clear- Clear with white tip. She did the clear coat on my nails, and said she was done. So I had to tell her, again, white tip. And then acted all surprised by this, as if I did not tell her. She even muttered "oh my god". So she proceeded to quickly add the 'white tip' and she did it sloppily. There was streaks On my fingernails, and it was not smooth. I was planning not to give her a tip, but I did anyways. The place doesn't look very clean either. She did not seem to care that I clearly looked unhappy and that I spoke to the person I was with and told them I was going back to my usual shop and have them do them correctly the very next day. Visited this spot trying to find a replacement for Fitfth Nail Bar. They did a great job on polishing - but everything else was lackluster. My tech was a sweet, older lady - but I could barely feel her massage and it was over quickly - no hot towels - no scrub. Just the bare, bare minimum. Not very much space between chairs which means that if you have two inconsiderate people on either side of you (which I did) that talk on their cell phones during their entire freaking service (again - bingo) - you are not going to be able to relax. read more

Then my 6 year old boy ended up getting a kids pedi which was great because his toe nails were like talons. I've been coming here for a couple years, but last Tuesday was amazing. My previous nail color was a blue acrylic & it was showing through the nude I was trying to put on top. Lilly made the decision to give me a fresh full set for an overall cleaner look. The experience was pleasant, the service received, not so much. I got a volcano pedicure and my eyebrows waxed on 8/20 at 10 ish. The wait wasn't long at all. There were plenty of customers and staff present and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time there. At the end of my service, I looked down and it appeared to be fine. I wasn't too happy about how my big toe was painted outside of my nail bed and it made my toe look much wider than it is but nothing to sit back in the chair for since it was a minor concern. Fast forward to that evening when I was getting dressed for an evening event, I notice that the paint from my big toe is lifting. I press it down and try to ignore it as there was no time. Fast forward to the next day, all but ONE of my toes on one foot is missing polish. I regret my $10 tip after already paying $69.
