I've been coming to Glam Spa since moving to Vinings in Nov 2019. Every time I come here I'm very satisfied with what I leave with. I get the SNS on my hands and Gel on my toes. The staff is very friendly and Jack makes sure to greet each guest. Amiee does my SNS and I love them. Check them out if you are in the area. Just left on Saturday, I am the young lady with the pink hair. I walked out with having the treatment #3 which cost $35, I paid $40 which you assumed I left for a tip, though I didn't plan to tip. I DID NOT GET MY TOES PAINTED, due to that fact that every other toenail was cut too short, rounded or uneven. I specifically asked for square shape, not once but 3 times. Due to my nails being cut so short I opted in polish and REFUSED to pay for gel because I was so unsatisfied. The nail tech also cut a large portion of my side nail on my big toe, and I asked her why did she do that! I was furious! That's how we develop ingrown toenails, I've had the surgery because I nail tech did this before!! I never had ingrown toenail, and it's impossible for me to get them now. It's when you disturb the toenails natural growth pattern and cut what's unnecessary to open for lint, dirt, and bacteria to develop that cause ingrown a in folks who don't get them. I would know because it's happened to me before. You can see how one big toenail is dramatically shorter than the other. No one said have a great day nor checked in with me to see if I was pleased with my service. This is why some people of color react in such an inappropriate manner. We feel disrespected when we tell you what we would like, and you all specifically do what you want or make a mistake and don't bother to compensate for it. My nails were overgrown, they grow fast and very healthy, aside from my big toes that were crushed in an accident. There should be no reason for my toenails to be cut so short when you have such a long platform to start with. Outside of that, I enjoyed my service, and the nail tech who serviced me. However, I left completely upset and annoyed that I spent $35 for you to wash, and moisturize my feet. I'll be back if we can find some sort of compensation or compromise, until then this one start will remain. Excuse my ugly big toenails y'all, but this is why I would rather pay for great treatment and let customers know, so they don't go through what I've gone through. I have been going to this nail salon for well over a decade and today was my last time ever going there. The last 2-3 times have been terrible. First of all, they ask if you want your toe nails cut down then they pretend to cut them and you walk out with them just as long as when you walked in. There is a newer person working there and I somehow end up with her every time now. She is very sweet but terrible at pedicures. $37 to have my toe nails polished is just ridiculous. She basically doesn't do much else. It is very unfortunate because I have loved this place for a long time. I gave it one more chance and now I know for sure I am done! read more

My partner has been trying to get me to get a pedicure for ages...so, I finally caved (through being gifted one!) and ended up at Glam Nail Spa. Located on Cumberland Parkway, Glam Nail Spa sits in the Publix shopping center towards the "back". This makes parking quite easy! The first thing you notice upon entry is the people, they are very quick to welcome you and direct you to a seat. The shop is set up with two rows, one on each wall, of massage chairs where all the pedicures and like services take place. In the middle is all the tables dedicated to all things manicure and finger nails. Once you are sat, a staff member comes to greet you and find out the details of what you want. They have a detailed "menu" that is placed at most chairs to help you decide. I opted for a manicure, pedicure and added a hot towel and leg massage. Pricing was not bad at around $40. Since I had multiple services and toke is ultimately money, I had two technicians working simultaneously to complete my hands and feet. They worked in sync and made sure one did not disrupt the other. While the services themselves were a treat and turned out great, I also feel the service was excellent as well. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating from start to finish, especially since it was my first time. Additionally, I saw many people come in the doors that were welcomed back and addressed by first name. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and as long as I'm living in this area, I can see myself and my partner returning on a regular basis! read more

This place really does feel spa-like. They are professional, friendly, and most importantly they practice sanitary behaviors with how they handle their tools. Now, the service is why we are here. Let me say, I love my mani & pedi. I did an SNS on my nails and a gel polish on my feet. The pedicure was thorough and my feet feel smooth. My nails are short and natural looking as I love them to be. All in all this was a great choice for a quick stop in when my regular nail salon could not find an appointment that suited my tight schedule. instead of providing a refund for the terrible job done on my SNS manicure (chips and cracks after less than 2 days), they said my only option was to get them fixed. i expressed i wasn't comfortable as this was the same time as the COVID-19 emergency. they refused. mind you, they have taken no actions to increase cleanliness or make customers more comfortable, even though they remain open. this all happened AFTER i called the manager, and told him i was coming to get a refund due to my nails being cracked. i reiterated "refund" twice and even said how much i paid ($35 not including tip). when i got to the store, he claimed that he didn't hear me say that, and thought i was coming to get them fixed. he and the rest of the employees proceeded to argue with me for 15 minutes (who were all sitting around on their phones, giggling, speaking their language clearly talking about me). unprofessional and inappropriate, especially during these times. to force a customer to sit inches away from other people in a time where we should all be home is despicable. $$ down the drain - thanks for the compassion, Glam. read more

Really nice salon and nice staff. However, the talent for acrylic nails are piss poor. There is only one person that does a good job and she was not there. They had a gentlemen fix my nail and it was horrible. I cannot wait to take these off. Unfortunately I was in a rush and didn't have time to wait for the young lady. Just horrible and looks completely different than my other nails. And they charged me $5 to get 1 nail fixed. I will not be returning. I am beyond annoyed. read more

**UPDATE REVIEW** After this experience, I switched to another nail salon in Downtown Vinings. That place was decent, but always super crowded and couldn't be a walk in. To be honest, my husband went back to this salon to give them another try. They are very close to were we live, and he wanted to get a quick mani/pedi. After a couple months, he ended up becoming a regular here! He is a regular for Lily! I started to complain about the other place, so he convinced me to give this place a third try--this time with a specific technician. This time the atmosphere was so different--new staff and even new decor! After a couple mani/pedi's, I felt like the place was still ok. Then I sat at Rosie's desk (she's the owner) and life has never been the same again!!!!! She is THE ONLY person I truly let do my nails, and only get SNS now! Rosie is so amazing and personable! And does exactly what you ask for!!! And if for some reason she is not within the building, Dalena is my next option! Other then them two, I'll wait. Lol! I have a new love for the place, and am in Rosie's chair every three weeks like clock work! This salon is a lucky break for Vinings, especially given our southern Cobb County options; add to that I've never had better service in Buckhead or Dunwoody comparable to here-despite higher pricing that yielded little quality in return for it. I have visited this salon many times in 16+ months and despite having moved to Sandy Springs, Glam Nail Spa is worth a commute. I do SNS nails and gel pedi. The VOESH pedicure is amazing-ask for Ivy. The quality of service has declined! Management has changed. Rosie is no longer managing and the current environment is awful. I've been a regular customer, so this is disappointing. My nail tech was Maia, who was fascinating. She no longer works at Glam Nail Spa, so I've had to try other techs there. I tried another tech who didn't do my nails as requested. Later the new manager recommended Diane for the next time. She did a great job. I made an appointment with Diane again. When I showed up for my appointment, Diane said she was already doing someone's nails. I was on time. She didn't honor my appointment which caused inconvenience for me that evening. Glam Nail Spa is disorganized. I will not be returning. UPDATE: After a couple of weeks, one of the managers of the shop (Mary) offered to do my nails. They look very good. While I was there, Diane apologized for the last interaction and gave her explanation for the confusion. That was appreciated. No compensation was asked for or offered. DISAPPOINTED..... I used to come to this salon a few years ago when I worked in the area. I was looking forward to returning since my office moved back to the area and I needed to find a new salon home. Well i got here at 7:12p (they close at 8p) i asked for a mani and pedi and I was told To wait to see if they had someone who could help me. After a couple of minutes i was told that it would be a while because there were about 2 people ahead of me... one of which who literally walked in 4 secs ahead of me... and politely asked to come back tomorrow as if I have time to make multiple trips to nail salons. I'm so tired of nail techs who want me to spend my money with them but want to manage my schedule!! if you are unable to accommodate more customers you should not have your OPEN light on... unless that light only applies to certain people. THE ABSOLUTE WORST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! Where do I begin? 1. Upon walking into the salon and standing at the podium for 3 minutes no one spoke or asked what I needed. I had to say excuse me to the girl texting on her phone so I could be helped. She told me sign in and take a seat. (People were available so why am I waiting?) while waiting another woman walked in.. Stood for less than a minute and was serviced immediately.. ( why am I still waiting?) 2. While waiting to get my pedicure the foot tub was filling up with COLD water. No one came over to turn the water off as it was about to over flow!! Once the lady came to me she started on my toes.. Not changing her gloves after finishing someone else's toes!! (Yuck) !! She never cut my cuticles.. Didn't massage my feet.. My pedicure from start to finish took all of 10mins!! 3. John did my nails and they are terrible!!! Nails are not filed evenly!! They look like press ons!! Cuticles are dry and flaky!! when I told him I just wanted a simple French, he told me that I could only do the white tip because pink and white takes too long. (If I'm paying for a service does it matter how long it takes?) 4. When I was ready to pay and leave I stood at the podium for another 5 mins before someone came over. I usually come here a lot but the service is not good. My money is green like all the other races that comes to this location. I got my nails done Monday, on Wednesday my nail color started to peel. I went in location told nail tech (who did it) she told me she was busy I could set an appointment. I go back next day the gentleman rushed on my repair and my nail still isn't fixed. After reading all of the reviews for this salon, my daughter and I visited the salon today. I am thoroughly impressed! There are certain details I paid close attention to: 1. Professionalism- They have a lady at the front desk who mines schedules and do their best to ensure no one is without a technician. The salon is very neat, organized, and the front desk has a computer that tracks technicians and scheduling. 2. Work- beautiful work so far 3. Prices are reasonable for the area. The client base is classy. 4. Appearance- staff appearance very classy with fashionable casual attire. That says a lot to me. 5. experience- Very positive. This will be my new spa home! I used to come here all the time when I lived in the area and every service was so great. I came here over the weekend while I was in town and while the pedicure was really good, the SNS manicures have gone down in quality significantly. First I soaked my hands in a bowl of acetone with no towel over it to block the harsh smell. My cuticles were not cut but rather filed with the drill. Hangnails were left in place. They look terrible. There was no "manicure" part. The old SNS was taken off and new put on. The underneath of nails has so much powder buildup that was not cleaned out. You should not leave a nail salon with your nails looking worse than when you went in. I would suggest staying away from SNS at this nail salon. read more

I've been coming to this salon for years now, off and on. This is by far the best nail salon I have found in Atlanta. They offer the best, most relaxing pedicures and their manicures are superb. Attention to detail, relaxing and not rushing you, clean, sterile, etc. I came in at 5:30 pm on a Sunday to get SNS with tips added. Jack was great, a perfectionist that took his time, and worked on my nails for 1 hour 20 minutes. I left at almost 6:50 pm (they closed at 6 pm). If that doesn't speak to attention to detail and customer service, I don't know what does. And everyone who works there is pleasant and very friendly. Great vibe. Had a good experience here. Went for a gel manicure and a pedicure. I liked that they worked on both my hands and my feet at the same time. I think the woman doing my pedicure was learning English, as the guy doing my manicure would prompt her with the English phrases that she needed to say to me. Overall everyone was friendly and so far, a week later, my polish is holding up. The salon has a luxurious feel but with reasonable pricing. I'll never go here again. First time I came it was just for a pedicure and take off on my nails. The pedicure at didn't even paint my toes well, it was just messy. When I came back it was for a full set which was a nightmare. Regular, Long full set with gel polish. The woman but my twice and I was bleeding. I kept having to tell her how to do her own job. The design she did was horrible and even just the gel polish came out bumpy. There are many reasons I wouldn't recommend Glam Nails. Per pandemic they were great but post pandemic many of their good nail techs left including their store manager, who answered the phones, took payments, etc. She handled everything while the nail techs did worked with their clients. Now it's just chaos in this salon! But the biggest issue is they never answer their phone when your trying to make an appt. You have to call 4-5 times before you might get an answer. And the LAST time I went to get my nails done, the tech made me wait almost 20 mins in his chair. I was told to sit in his chair as I was right on time for my appt. I didn't see him anywhere in the salon, so I asked if he was even there. I had an errand in the same shopping center I could run if he wasn't there or needed more time. They said no stay and I continued to wait. Come to find out he was eating his lunch!! He finally sauntered out and had an attitude with me the entire time he dis my nails. Believe me I know these salons are busy and I want these nails salon employees to be able to eat! But when I bust my butt to make it to my appt. on time, in respect of THEIR time, I expect the same in return in regard to MY time. I am paying them for their service.
