This nail shop is truly one of the best nail shops in the Smyrna/Mableton/Vinings area! I went to An for a SNS manicure and it was awesome. He was very thorough and I was well pleased! I paid around $35 without a tip and it took a little over an hour for the manicure. While it did take a bit longer, it was well worth it and my nails looked fantastic. One of the challenges with getting SNS is that your nails often times will appear thick--but not when An does my nails. He makes sure that my nails look and feel natural. Today was my first visit there. Sonia and Tran were my nail technicians. I just have to say....the professionalism that was shown today was outstanding. They were all friendly and patient...they can actually speak English and understand what you are asking for. Sonia took very good care of my feet and even my special requests! Tran did his thing on my nails. I am pleased and definitely will return! Keep in mind, today is a Saturday. They were busy. And yet still managed to spend extra time on me bc I needed it. Thank you! Love this nail shop! During covid 19 they are appointment only and even if there is a walk in, they stick to their policy and offer the earliest open spot that they have. Services are always done in a timely and efficient manner with a good quality outcome. I drive 30-35 minutes for their service and I will continue to do so. read more

I drove all the over to this place to get serviced and was told once I arrived that it was appointments only they could not service me, mind you it does not say that on the website or Google maps. I asked the lady is that something they could update if it's appointment only and the young lady proceeds to say well our REGULARS know that. So I asked do you only service regulars? because at this point that's what I'm getting from the conversation. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. First of all, I got a full set Thursday 1/10. The guy made smart remarks all throughout the service as if he didn't want to do it. For ombre is was $65 so it looked nice when he was finished and everything was cool. Not even a week later, a nail came off. I went in to get it fixed. Some lady was like did you get that done here? And I stated yes by the guy (I pointed at him). So she tells him to fix it and he seems aggravated the entire time. When he finishes, he states am I paying in cash? Who charges $5 to fix one nail that you did poor service on?! I will not be going back. It's not even 2 weeks since the service and 2 more nails have come off. Fantastic experience at Bally Nails tonight. If you check out my other reviews, there's a theme around nail salons...that most of them stink. For Christmas, my friend gave me a gift certificate to get a mani and pedi here. Bally Nails is her favorite salon and she's been raving about them for months. It was the day before New Years Eve and we decided to go spur of the moment around 5:00 pm on a Sunday. There was about a 5 minute wait. Apparently, I got there at the perfect time. A long string of people (females and males) walked in after me and was told that they couldn't fit them before closing. Moral of the story: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IN ADVANCE! 3.5 is my actual rating, but you can't give 1/2 stars on Yelp. They have a good selection of polish, which is great for a person like me, who likes to switch it up. However the service and the ending result are touch-n-go depending on which technician is assisting you. I've had great customer service to just being tolerated like the technician was doing me a favor by doing their job. The quality is fine, not bad and definitely not wonderful - right in the middle. This place is truly amazing. I travel the country with work and try to have a pedicure monthly. Every time I Go to Bally Nails, I'm impressed. Met by a staff member at the door and immediately placed in COVID-19 protection. Mask, hand wash, seat decontamination and all the appropriate questions and warnings. All staff members have certificates of COVID-19 training posted. The shop is spotless and the seats are so comfortable and easy to program. The pedicure has to be the best I've ever had. Have been here a few times. Never great, always just ok. Especially when I got a gel manicure - chipped within a week. Only two min from my house though, so I kept coming for pedicures only. Went in today for a pedicure but had somewhere else to be this afternoon. Totally understand salons are busy on Saturday and I didn't have an appointment, so I asked "How long is the wait for a pedicure?" Was told 10 min, so decided to stay. 15 min later I sat in a chair, thinking "great!" Sat in a chair for another 20 min without water on my feet or anyone coming over. I finally flagged someone down and asked how much longer it would be, as I had somewhere to go. Finally was helped 5 min later, received the worst, most rushed pedicure of my life, and left. The shop was clean and neat from what I could tell. My pedicure was nicely done by a young man in the shop. He was polite and asked questions, which I appreciated. The only issue I had was once again another nail shop where the employees spend more time talking amongst themselves and less time taking care of their customers. A nail shop should be a calm and relaxing experience or at least that is what I am expecting. These employees were busy working on each other's nails while leaving customers unsure of who was working on/finishing their nails. And when you ask them for clarity they seem to get bothered. I went and got a Mani with acrylic and pedi. Pedicure went great. Owners daughter did my mani and the entire time was more interested in what was going on outside the store. I had asked her to clean the cuticles which she said would do at the end. I got the powder acrylic which she did such a think layer the nails look awful. Then came time to clean the cuticles and she cut so much i started bleeding. I left the store in pain and realized later that the pain was from her cutting my natural nail attached to the nail bed. I had swollen fingers and couldn't so the basic task of typing. I work on computers for a living and had to call in sick to work. When i called the store to tell them about this the girl told me she would give me a discount next time i came in. I am never going into this store again. Owner wont do anything because this is his daughter but this was the worst experience ever. I would give 5 stars for the pedicure though. read more

I went to this salon almost 4 years ago and had a horrible experience. Recently , against my judgment I suckered up and went in to given them another chance. Stacy did my mani/pedi. I picked 3 colors and went to the chair with them, she immediately took them from me, I hadn't even tested the colors out on my fingernails to decide which one I wanted. She started my pedi and was quite rough with the filing and cuticle trimming. She didn't clip my nails instead only filed. When she used the tool to clean under the nail she was extremely painful. I told her to ease up but she didn't. I picked the colors from the little tray stand to try/test them on my fingernails and she immediately grabbed them from me telling me that she would test them on my toes. Talk about paranoia/controlling, I was only testing them... Geez! Her foot massage for the delux pedi was sub par and the entire pedi didn't even last 30minutes. I've been to nail salons in the area that have had me in the chair a whole hour for a delux pedi. She was so proud of her new chairs that she had just gotten, but the one I was in had a broken foot rest. Go figure! After she was done, she put the flip flops on me and there was a long string hanging lose from one of them, she didn't even care that it could have caught on my wet polish. It was only when I pulled it that she decided she needed to cut it. Clearly she had no pride in the work she had just done. She switched me to a mani chair and took forever to get started on me. During the mani she was very distracted. At one point, she tended to another customer and made sure she had a pillow while I sat there with the mask on my hands/arms. She gave a decent hand massage, but this really didn't make up for her other dismissive behavior. She finally asked me to pay for it before she put my color on. I put the total amount including tip on the bottom line of the credit card receipt. She's lucky she got a tip as she wasn't very nice and didn't attempt to even talk. Now, the problem I had 4 years ago when I went there was that they had put too much polish on my nails and it was basically not drying. Stacy did the same thing today too. She put such a thick coat of polish on my nails. I mentioned that I didn't need it to be too thick, but again I was dismissed. I sat under the dryers for a good 20 mins. At this point, Stacy felt she needed to come over and tell me that I did not fill the tip portion of the receipt. I was like can't you see the tip has been included on the total at the bottom. Seemed like she was bringing it to me to correct me like I didn't know how to fill in a receipt. I get in my car and sure enough, I get a line in my nail as the coat was so thick it hadn't dried. I had to go back in for them to fix it, and Stacy didn't even do it. She delegated it to someone else while she was stuffing her face in the back. About 9pm that same evening, I got another dent in my polish as it was still very thick on my nails and clearly had not dried. My manicure had been at about 2pm that afternoon. Waste of money. There's many other salons in the area with way better service than this one. The one right next to the publix in the shopping center next door is also way better and has better customer service. They also way more staffed, bigger and friendlier. Stacy is the owner and this is how she treats (new) customers. How can you expect her staff to treat you better. Will never return! Don't waste your money here ladies! read more

ZERO Stars. Attitude and service was poor. Pedicure was done in 10 minutes. Really. And the job was shabby. When I asked the tech to slow down, she started talking to her coworkers in the asian language and getting upset. I asked for the manager, the staffer stated that she wasn't in. Then change it to say she was the manager. I told her that I wasn't please with the service and told her the tech rushed and the pedi was nearly just a polish change. She proceeded to say that she did a good job. I said well I'm not satisfied with what you call a good job. I am the paying customer. The rudeness accelerated from there and the police was called because I told her the job was shitty in the English language and she felt threaten. So, now you can't tell people who take your hard earn money that their service was shitty without them feeling threaten. I will read reviews from now on. I could have saved myself time and money.
