I went for walk-in service yesterday. Since I had some time off from work. I arrived probably 5 mins to 4pm for a pedicure and full set. I'm not into getting my services done at the same time it isn't my preference. So I let the host know I'd like to start with my pedicure and then do the full set, (this would give my feet more time to dry as well). These ladies are way more interested in rushing than actually providing nail care. I asked both my pedicurist and the nail tail to take their time. The pedicurist who may have had a language barrier, was forcefully clipping my toes almost cut my pinky toe nail in half, I'm guessing it was assuming my toenail wasn't actually nail or skin. NEVER happened to me before and I hope it never happens again. Luckily I was paying attention and stopped her. I'm sure it was a mistake but that shouldn't happen and wouldn't happen if she wasn't rushing. I let my toes dry for over 5 hours, the big toes are both messes. And of course whilst finishing up my toes the host insisted that we start my nails. Even though you all are in a rush to complete as many services as you can for the day NO ONE deserves rushed services. The nail tech started off rushing, clipping my nails so short it hurt I asked her to take her time and told her I am not in a rush she doesn't have to rush to which she replied she's not rushing she just works fast next clip almost cutting me. Working fast and rushing are the same thing. If a customer ASK that you take your time, you take your time, stop working fast and service them properly. The shape and look of the nails is ok, but I noticed my cuticles looked very untamed so I asked her to clean them up and got a cuticle and finger whatever. My fingers skin was trimmed see photos. I've discovered this place because it's close to my work. The ladies that run this place are very nice. They do a great job at nails. I always leave satisfied with my nails and if anything happens to one of my nails breaks off even if it's my fault they are always happy to fix it. They won't even charge me- but if course I tip them because it's work! I definitely recommend this nail salon! The prices are great. I'd ignore the negative reviews. First order of business - don't come without an appointment. They are smart and don't over staff (never good for your salary expenses), but with fewer on shift, you need an appointment. It's a smaller salon, 5 manicure stations and 6 pedicure chairs. But the interior is very nice and calming. I moved away 2 years ago and always tried to come when I could since I lived so far. This place is TERRIBLE! I've been trying to find a nail salon since moving to the Atlanta area and I would say this is the worse one by far. 1 - I had gel on my nails which needed to be soaked off. Instead of using an electronic file to work the gel off a scraper and nail file was used. In using the scraper, my actual nail was scraped down. Now my nails are weak and brittle. Using the nail file my cuticles and skin was completed ruined. I have cuts all around my fingers. 2 - While scraping, the worker kept poking me with his fingernails which really hurt. 3 - I looked at the nail color palettes and wanted a dark gold. Instead of telling me it wouldn't turn out like that, my nail was painted with that over it. It looks terrible. 4 - My nails were filed down uneven and to different lengths. 5 - The only reason I gave a tip was to the girl who did my eyebrows. I will never go here again and do no recommend anyone else to go there. My nails are ruined and so is my skin around them which is already sensitive. read more

This is the worst salon I have ever been to by a long shot. The only reason it gets 2 stars instead of zero is because the technicians themselves were nice. I feel bad giving them such a low rating when their service wasn't terrible, but this is the worst experience I have ever had. To start with, there is a horrific chemical smell permeating the entire salon. So bad that I wondered how no one else was saying something. So bad that after the hour spent there waiting and then getting my gel manicure, I had to go home and lie down to get rid of my headache. I feel terrible for the poor women who work there and have to breathe in whatever is causing those fumes for hours every day, because I couldn't even handle It for an hour. After 5 days my gel manicure completely came off one finger. Given that gel is significantly more expensive and supposed to last 2+ weeks, I called and asked to have it fixed. They originally wanted to charge $5 to repaint one nail but eventually agreed to do it at no charge (of course still with tip for the tech). The smell was in the salon again so I realized it was just some permanent, horrible chemical smell. Literally two days later, huge pieces of the polish started to peel off several other nails. I had paid for a gel manicure, but basically got a regular manicure that chipped terribly within a week. I was so disappointed but wasn't going to go back a second time to get it fixed again. Literally the worst SNS manicure I have ever received. I literally left the salon with bumps in my nails because he was not able to get the SNS to go on smoothly and polish all over my fingers because he didn't remove it or know how to apply it correctly. The polish is incredibly thick both on top and beneath my nails because he literally did not know what he was doing. The polish also isn't evenly painted/dipped on my nails and looks really dark in some spots but light in other spots. On one hand, I have several finger prints were he tried to test if the polish was dry before it dried. What is comical is the polish wasn't dried, yet he told me it was and continued to apply the baby oil and tell me I was good to go. And probably the worst thing about this job is that in the middle of my session, the person doing my nails told me to dry the polish for a few minutes while he walked outside to smoke. Then he came back inside and continued to work on my nails without washing his hands. Overall I'm pretty disappointed with the appointment and I will not be going back anytime soon. read more

I never used to make appointments before, but I make an appointment every time to make sure I get in because they are always busy with repeat customers, which is a very good thing!!! The setting is very calm, they never rush, and they do an excellent job! My nails last longer than any other place I've been to. And yes, you can stop at the DD on the corner before going in, or Smoothie King because it's all in the same little strip. The staff is very friendly and the salon is very clean. I decided to try them out about two years ago when I was driving through the DD one morning on my way to work. I was admiring the nails of the woman working the drive through and when I asked her who did them she said the nail place a few places down. Longest lasting gel manicure I've ever had! Such a great job and they were so kind. Went on my lunch break and they were very efficient.

They are indeed a small place, but VERY friendly and clean! I always make an appointment because I like the service I get, even if I chipped a day or two later, they'll fix it for free no questions asked! I like the fact that they open a new, sterlized utensil/tool package for each customer. Costs are competitive to others on Powersferry! But this is MY place! I like clean! Being in the service business myself I take writing a review very seriously and I struggle writing this review but I really feel it's necessary. I get a mani/pedi every two weeks so I am an experienced customer. I thought I would try this place out for the first time because I am moving close to this place. I'll walk you through my experience and you can decide for yourself. I was the only customer they had so it's not like they were pressed for time. I also said it was my first time at their salon and was "trying them out" (My instinct as a professional is to make sure I try to win someone's business. They could have cared less.) Pedi: I made a request for warmer water but it was obvious this request was not going to happen for this paying customer. She rolled her eyes and said it would not get any warmer. The cost of their pedi is $27. It included cuticle trim, a quick scrub of the heels, paint, and some lotion on the legs. If that's okay for you, great. But, I'm used to a great massage, exfoliation, and hot towels. Although, I normally pay around $35-40. They didn't have an option for a more deluxe pedi. If they do, they didn't give me that option. Gel Mani: I asked them not to use the abrasive file down to my real nail. She did anyway. I know they need to remove the top layers of the gel with it. So, their argument that I "don't know what in talking about" Was insulting. After the gel was off she continued to use this rough file on my natural nail. She was so rough with it that my cuticles started to bleed. I repeatedly asked her to stop. She said she "had" to use it. That is when I stopped the mani/pedi. I have NEVER left a salon before. No matter how bad I thought it was. Normally, I just make a note not to return. So, with the total of things done by them; partial gel removal, toes trimmed and lotion on the legs they said it would be $27. An argument obviously ensued. They didn't care that I wasn't happy and made no attempt to try to keep my business or apologize for my experience. As a professional I would have eaten the cost as a courtesy but they didn't. So, with my bleeding fingers I went to my usual salon. (The lady at my salon almost refused to work on my hands because of their condition) Anyway, I may have higher expectations of a mani/pedi because it is my treat for myself. But, if you just want a quick polish change, I'm sure this place is fine. Of note, a different lady came in asking them to repair her solar nails. She could tell they didn't know what they were doing so she chuckled, said "never mind", and left. It was actually seeing her courage that gave me mine. I left after she did. read more

They have a frequent card so once you go a certain number of times you get a discount. Lately they've been understaffed so today I went somewhere else to get my nails done. They don't have a huge selection of colors which can be nice because it's not so overwhelming but its not the best when you want to switch things up a bit. I got a gel manicure recently and a pedicure, both chipped within one day. I came to get the gel removed and just put a normal polish coat on, because I figured that couldn't be messed up but they use the rough file all the way down to your nails, soak your skin in the acetone, and the polish was way too thick or old so it didn't dry and I had to take it off after getting home and attempting to let it dry longer. read more

I've had the great pleasure of being in the Marietta area once again. My hands and feet were screaming for much needed attention from the hustle and bustle of being on my feet 40 plus hours a week and using my hands as well. I stop by for a mani and pedi. First, there services are about $5 or more than your average nail salon. This however didn't deter me but I was wishing the extra dough would pay off and boy did it! My wish was there command. All together I was there for a little bit over a hour and a half and no, this was not waiting time. Fortunately for me, I waltz in and immediately into a chair. This was hands down thee best service I had ever received not too much conversation but who cares the important things are the atmosphere and service. The place is quaint yet very nice, clean and organized. The service like I fore mentioned was the best. I had Laura and Laura has a serious case of OCD. Much so it got to the point where I didn't have to check up on her to see if she was doing a good job. I was able to relax and breathe for once. She didn't push my nail bed back too far or nip off too much skin. She didn't file my nails too much or drill too deep, it was just perfect! Oh and the pedicure, forget about it! It was the longest one I ever had. I know it lasted at least 45 minutes and it was just the basic pedicure as well. I could go on and on about this place but I'm not. Even though they are more pricey than others I feel they make it worth it as they do not rush you at all and the place is nice.
