Moldy Garlic Sauce

Workers are rude and unprofessional. Bought some garlic sauce and was moldy as well, would not recommend.

I was literally about three blocks down from this gas station when my car ran out of gas. i walked to this b.p with a hope and a prayer, that maybe the clerk would feel some sort of empathy for me, and help me out by allowing me to borrow the $13 gas can available for purchase, for about 30 min. that would allow me to use my 10 bucks that I had to purchase the gas, walk back, refuel my car, drive 2 miles home to get the money and pay him for the gas can. he said no....not one of those empathetic no's that people us backed with positive reinforcement either, like "oh wow, I would if I could but store policy says I cant. sorry". or one of those no's backed up with some alternative suggestions that perhaps I should buy a cheaper container, such a milk jug to put the gas in, or use a loaner can that the store has, etc etc. this was a cold flat careless no. the kind when someone clearly isn't going to help you, and isn't going to care. as a man, it takes an absolute lot for me to ask anyone else for help, but as circumstances would have it, and the dire situation that I was in, I put pride to the side and asked the clerk for help by letting me borrow the can. thankfully a customer there did help me out by buying the can for me, which I am truly grateful. as for the clerk and this gas station. people doesn't always remember the people that helped them out, but they most certainly remember the ones that didn't.

Customer service is generally pretty good. Selection and neatness is good. Generally, however, I…read morethink CVS is overpriced, and their customer 'rewards' are subpar. My biggest issues are always with the pharmacy. It seems that their training for that department is more than a bit lacking. I'll get told 5 different things about what they can and cannot do with my prescription- it's like all of them have been taught something different. My script is almost never ready on time and, because of the lack of continuity with training, there's usually some sort of "issue" every time I pick it up. Also, they have all these weird rules about pet prescriptions that seem to change every time I go in. My dog has severe epilepsy, so his meds are what keep him alive, but because of the issues listed above, I'm frequently running the risk of missing a dose. They won't even let me manage his script and refills myself. They've never been able to explain why you can't add a pet to your script manager, but it would sure make things easier. The only reason they got 3 stars instead of 2 is because, after dealing with these issues for over a year, I finally contacted the corporate office, which seems to have reduced the frequency of issues somewhat.

I was reminded today why I no longer use large pharmacies to fill my prescription. My doctor sent a…read moreprescription to this location. I was told they had no prescription yet and to come back in a hour. After waiting 4 hours I called my doctor and asked them to send it to our small local pharmacy that I've been using for years. Guess what, the small pharmacy called me with in 5 minutes of receiving the prescription to let me know it will be ready in 15 minutes and a reminder that they close early today due to the holiday. This is what customer service is about. Not giving sick people the run around about their prescriptions. Do better!!!!

Meijer 4th of July Vanilla Iced Doughnut: Although there are plenty of specialty doughnuts that I…read moreenjoy more, one of my favorite types of "basic" doughnuts is vanilla iced yeast/raised doughnuts. For a grocery store bakery, I've been impressed with the doughnuts at my local Meijer (although the selection is sadly wildly inconsistent). I was immediately drawn to this doughnut by the patriotic coloring of the icing drizzled on it. The blue and red look fantastic, but the white drizzle is superfluous with all the white icing already covering the doughnut. I found the dough to have a nice thick and chewy texture while also being light and pillowy. The flavor was a combination of butter in the body of the dough, along with vanilla from the icing. Unlike some chains (Dunkin), the layer of icing was thick and satisfying and that's before factoring in the extra drizzle. Give me liberty or give me doughnuts! Although I have dragged myself in this store a few times off the convince factor and had worked at the Amazon for a long while I do hate it. I hate this Meijer on 8 mile because it's massively ghetto. Being right by the bus stop doesn't help. People will sit in the handicap spots at the front of the store and beg. People sleeping right inside on the bench's. People stuffing liqour bottles in their pants eating pre-cooked food and set it o back on the shelves. I went to the panties and there was a dirty pair on the floor and an opened pack. You would think considering the camera it would have been taken care of but nope. And they always cut off my dang cart walking out of the exit and gives my toddler whiplash. Like I literally made eye contact with you and kept walking and you chose not to ask me. Then youll stop my buggy and ask for the receipt. Make it make sense
