I went to pick up some body wash, micellar makeup removal pads, facial pads and hair ties, body lotion and some micellar cleansing water. They were out of the micellar makeup pads I wanted, ended up with something else but with a refreshing cucumber wipes. They had gaps and spots where there was nothing on the shelves. I didn't have any useable coupons except for the garnier micellar cleanse water. It doesn't seem like I bought that much yet it was still over $51 and that's after the $3 off. I am still convinced they inflate their prices and make members believe they are getting a deal, when in fact using a coupon might bring the price of an item to what I would pay at big box store. This price inflation is much of the reason why I don't buy as much from or as often at CVS convenience stores. It's only when I am too tired or unwilling to drive further to a big box store. read more

Pharmacy attendant was rude and unhelpful. I don't think she likes her job very much and, if she does, it doesn't show. She likes to tell you "no," before you even finish asking a question. Very lazy and shows no compassion for customers. She is dealing with patients quality of life, but I think she would be a better fit working at a party store instead. I go to the CVS on 13 mile and Woodward now. They have the best customer service and they are open 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year. read more

Okay okay okay. So CVS isn't as cool as it used to be. Was it ever cool? At one point I hated this location because of a nasty encounter that I had with a pharmacy tech (two years ago) trying to get a script filled. But last week when I stopped in it was different. It was a crowd of people waiting to drop-off scripts, pick them up, and some people were just standing around because - I don't know? But the pharmacist was so gosh darn nice. You could see how hectic it was in there and every person waiting was so frustrated at him. But he was so nice and friendly to every single person. And he was doing things as fast as he could. And even in his situation of crisis, he managed to say something to me that made my day a little bit better. So I like this place. I like it a lot now actually. read more

The employees are friendly and this CVS has the best pharmacy. The prices are in line with Walgreens and Riteaid. The store is well stocked and I can always find what I need and don't need CVS has good sales on cosmetics and other consumer products. I also like how this location has bottle returns! It reminds me of the drug stores Richardsons and Perry Drug Stores. read more

This place is Solid! Solid as a rock... Okay, sorry, I got carried away. But really, this is a solid drugstore. A) It's open 24 hours. B) I've never found anything worth complaining about. I've bought make-up, hairstuff, greeting cards, scratch-off lotto tickets, butter, I think even alcohol. Yeah, I think I bought beer here. But yeah, this place isn't ghetto. It's always got a security guard watchin' as you walk in. Nice make-up and salon-esque hair product selection. Everything's stocked. Well staffed. Nice. Good going CVS. Way to be. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Rude staff. Pharmacy will not pick up the phone, ever, so good luck getting them to refill a prescription if you have any questions. I only go here because my insurance makes me use CVS for prescriptions. I am seriously considering paying for medicine out of pocket to avoid having to deal with this horrible, terrible, rude, incompetent business. read more

Walking into this CVS is like entering 1997. Cue up some CDs on a spindle rack for $15-20, an assortment of posters for the latest tween movie, and suspiciously flickering fluorescent lights on parched white walls and linoleum that takes me back to nightmares of running through an empty Zellers (Canada's version of Wal-Mart) where all humans had disappeared and I was left behind. Then Emily Haines of Metric went and did a music video about it (Soft Skeleton) so it's a cultural thing, apparently. That said, I rarely go to this CVS with the one across town closer to my place. But when a lengthy backup at the photo counter wouldn't get passport photos ready for next day service, the beau and I hopped in the car and drove down here. Less parking is available on the 9 Mile side of the shopping plaza and the building feels poorly lit from the exterior. But inside, it's pretty much a standard pharmacy with a genuinely dubious sort of feel. I expect mannequins to come alive. We used the photography service, which amounted to a guy pulling down a screen, using an ancient digital camera to capture the beau's likeness, and then printing it on the spot. No 15 minute wait here. He plugged the SD card into the photo machine and had the passport photos out and done. That was welcome considering we waited 10 minutes in line for someone to help us because a woman insisted on every one of her items being checked over for a 75% off markdown or some particularly poky, banal reason. Saving money is great, but wait and let the large, long line behind you go first, please? On the plus side, we got 6 copies of passport photos for the price of one set, in case we really needed that many images of an unsmiling man around the house. Thanks, Homeland Security and US Secretary of State, we need more glaring Americans in the official documentation that others see! read more

I have visited this store 3 times cause my Dr keep sending my meds here. The manager and the pharmacy are VERY RUDE! This is by far the worst CVS ever. I will be putting in a formal Complaint with Corporate.. You can't just treat and talk to people any way you want. There's a thing called customer service and you all in the store have missed the Mark. read more

Two trips up there to pick up a prescription, the first time they claimed the doctor hadn't phoned it. We had the doctor phone it again, and we stood there while they ignored the incoming phone calls. Finally got them to admit they had an inventory problem and were out of stock. Prescription bags stacked on the floor, out of inventory, lying about call in scripts. This place is a disaster, and their incompetence will surely result in deaths. Don't even get me started about the rest of the store, which is dirty and looks like 1987. Oh yeah, their registers reject half of the chipped credit cards, and their receipts are 4' long. read more

The worst store in the history of CVS's there were like people in line and only one cashier and somehow the computers for the whole store "went down" and I waited another 15 minutes and they never came back to life so that was a total wasted trip! read more

Don't go there if you're in a hurry. Checkout takes about 5 mins and they are short staffed.

As far as the pharmacy is concerned definitely A+. I will be coming to this location as opposed to the other cvs on 9 mile. Pharmacy much quicker and more friendly. read more

This CVS is like any other drugstore. It's down the block, so we frequent this location often. Staff is always friendly and helpful, even when they are crazy busy. As well as everyone in the Pharmacy. It's always clean and well stocked. No complaints, but can't say it's special. Just a convenient place to get milk, diapers and wine in one stop! read more
