Mills Pharmacy is a dream come true for this LA transplant. Not only is it a great traditional pharmacy, but a place to find unique health, beauty and gift products that I usually could only find in LA. I use all natural beauty products - and they have a huge selection of amazing brands from all over the world. Rita is an expert in everything in the store, and can tell you which products will work best for what you need. The Epicure is also another hidden gem. I've stopped here many times on the way to a party to pick up a great bottle of champagne, some crackers and cheese and sweets. They also carry Michigan-made products, which I love. We have battled with CVS for many years for prescriptions for my daughter, so I thought I would give Mills a try. I am so glad I did. We have had no problems with getting her prescriptions filled immediately and are very helpful with costs. They even created a compounded prescription for another member of my family. Was reading the reviews as I am picking up a prescription for a friend and they said the hours are not posted. So I checked on the website it says they close at 6 PM but the pharmacy closes at 9 PM so I called and they both close at 5 PM not sure why they do not wanna post their hours correctly. read more

Mills Apothecary is truly a stand-alone boutique in that sense. You will not find what they have in stock even at Nordstrom and even a number of surprising cases, Niemans or Saks! I never wash with the radioactive detergent that most people do from Krogers or Meijers or Target. Their selection of imported soaps are worth every penny as are their skin products and FRAGRANCES AND CANDLES and they're truly fabulous. I used to know one of the "Noses" in the perfume industry in France and he taught me a lot....Mills carries truly exquisite & unique products that discerning fragrance lovers will easily recognize and love. We love Mills Pharmacy! It's an absolutely delight to walk into a pharmacy, be greeted by name, and have your prescription ready. The personal service is truly amazing! I'm sad to see the complaints about prices. Wake up folks... if you want no choice other than Walmart or Rite Aid, keep shopping "cheap". If you want to be able to enjoy a unique store with friendly service, you need to support them. A small business owner will want to know if he/she does not have the products you want to buy. Please let them know. I've been a Mills customer since 1995 when I moved to Birmingham. The new owners are getting it right - modernizing but keeping the old school service. 5 stars! read more

Everything in the store is insanely marked up. They have a fun selection of things in the front but again - ridiculous markup. Even the advil for crying out loud - advil liqui-gels minis 80 count cost me $14.69. Target sells this product for $8.99. HALF THE PRICE. I came in here instead of going to rite aid a mile down the street because i like to support smaller local businesses - but practices like this make me think twice about doing so. read more

It's great to have a neighborhood pharmacy! The service is very good and personalized here as you would expect. They are in the midst of a major expansion which will increase their footprint by 150 percent. They are supposed to add a coffee bar and sandwiches, filling a huge void left when the Quarton Market closed it's doors a couple of years ago. read more

I absolutely love Mills Pharmacy. I take a medication that is typically unavailable at most pharmacies. Mills Pharmacy, on the other hand, makes sure that the medication is always in stock for me. This is a really nice place to go for a pharmacy and even gifts, but it can be hard to find your typical "drugstore" items. Great atmosphere and interesting food in the little market. They also allow you to keep an old school running tab of items which if you come frequently would be really nice. read more

With many different medications and switching insurance companies, it is been very difficult for me to find a pharmacy who I truly feel values me as a customer. It's rare to find that personal feel these days and I think the staff at Mills truly understands the value in creating that experience. As a first-time mom, this personalized service from the pharmacists is invaluable. They carefully review every prescription with me, provide knowledgeable recommendations on over-the-counter products and take the time to treat us with care and concern. I've been using this pharmacy for a long time but no more. They often charge me the wrong amount for a blood thinner Rx that I have been on for several years. I was charged $40 in January and it was supposed to be $10. I didn't question it because I thought perhaps the price increased or my co-pay changed with the new year. I checked into it and it was still supposed to be $10. When I went back in February for a refill they tried to charge me $459. I told them it should be $10 and they came back with a printout showing that it was $459, and that it was going toward my deductible. I asked them to check it again because there is a discount program from the manufacturer that is available to anyone that is in the program. She checked their records again and charged me the $10. They would not refund me the $30 I was overcharged in January even though they acknowledged it should have been $10. This has happened to me several times here. They can't be trusted to charge the correct price and when they make a mistake won't offer a refund. read more

I live in the neighborhood and am very pleased to have them here. I think they did a very nice job with design in this new space both inside and out. I am into alternative health and have several compounded prescriptions. I have recently had them all transferred to Mills, which is much more convenient. I enjoy the variety of items that they sell. Its a great place to pick up gifts for friends. The staff is very nice and it's a pleasure to have an alternative to the chain stores and support a small business. read more

I had what I hope to be a single bad encounter with an exceedingly rude, and inattentive lady in the pharmacy. She failed to tell the pharmacist I was waiting for the prescription, and then didn't even apologize and acted like it was my issue. I'll think twice for before using them again, even thought they are 2 blocks away from my home. read more

This is a TRULY fabulous and exceptional shop that carries a fantastic line of skin care & bath/shower products, perfumes & colognes and candles that I don't believe are available anywhere else in lower Oakland county, I'm sure. European fragrances that you won't even see at Neimans' or Saks that are amazingly crafted and OUT of this world beautiful. Nothing here is cheap but for a treat every once in a while (or a little more often!) it's worth every penny! I consider myself to be quite the fragrance connoisseur because I've never smoked, drank or done drugs so my olfactory sense is as clean as it can be.
