Dr. Jill is the most AMAZING doctor I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She is very caring and easy to work with. She explains everything she is doing, but keeps the appointment just quick enough. She also MADE SURE to look for the most affordable payment options. The facility is in a great location, and the inside is very nice, clean and modern. Don't know which contact brand you want to try? I left with three different samples she recommended for me and some special eye drops for my extra irritated eyes. It's not often you have someone who is that willing to make sure you and your vision are happy. I would never think to Yelp about a doctors appointment, but Dr.Jill and her staff were just that awesome. It's nice to have a doctor who actually cares about you; I will definitely go back and make a point to refer this place to everyone I know, even if they don't ask. The only reason I felt the need to rush out of there was to write this review. Happy, happy eyes!

However, due to unacceptable behavior by that previous clinic, VSP made an exception and allowed me to get a second eye exam done. When I explained the situation to the front office staff while setting up my appointment, the staff member assured me that they would contact VSP to get the information they needed. I provided the name of the rep that was handling my case, and they got it all sorted out prior to my appointment, without having me act as a go between. On the day of my appointment, I didn't have to wait at all before my exam began, and was in and out pretty quickly. I had a couple of concerns with the results, but the optometrist addressed them promptly, and ordered me a pair of trial contacts since they didn't have the strength I needed in stock. When I still wasn't satisfied with my vision using the trial contacts, getting a follow up exam was painless, and my concerns were again taken seriously and professionally. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at Eye Associates, and will definitely be back next year for my next eye exam!

This eye doctor in the Waldo neighborhood hit every box: - Communicative - Professional - Friendly - On time - Availability - Efficiency They also offered something during my routine eye exam that I loved; the option to pay $35 extra to skip the dilation and instead use some sort of Star Wars technology to take a picture of the back of your eye. Well worth it for not having to have blurry, weird vision for the rest of the day. I see Dr. Yates, and my oldest comes here now too and looks forward to it. The office is very nice, and there is parking but it can be tight in the little adjacent lot. Nothing but good vibes here, good location, and I never dread my annual trip in. They'll really listen if you have any questions or concerns about anything, and overall this is a slam dunk. We'll go here for life.

Sadly, it made me look exactly like that kid from the Christmas Story, sans leg lamp. I've been to over a dozen eye doctors ranging from the less desirable "big box" kind to the uber expensive, fancy pants kind. In Vision has the brands of glasses of the fancy pants but amazingly reasonable prices for their frames and lenses. I snagged a Groupon earlier this year which helped and because I am not blessed with vision insurance Dr. Lianne totally worked with me. She was awesome. After the formalities of the exam, we really got to bond over some pictures of the inside of my eyeballs. That's when the magic happened. Dr. Lianne and her assistant totally helped me as trying on glasses for me is like Ray Charles driving in the Indy 500, ILL-ADVISED! Those two set me up with a regular pair and some sunglasses complete with the sweet bling I requested. Both are Vogue but I am also getting new lenses for my current Prada pair. Medically speaking, I can't see shit without glasses. I was expecting to pay around $450 for two pair since my prescription is always expensive and they would be all new frames and lenses. I ended up paying under that for 2 new pair of glasses and lenses for my old ones. Obviously, this kind of thing varies since not everyone is as blind as I am. My frames were $90 and $120 and the rest was taken up by the actual lens cost. My new glasses came in within 6 days of ordering. I was so excited! Another added bonus is I can actually see again. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lianne at In Vision, it was the most fun I've ever had at an eye doctor. .
