Went here on Christmas Eve to get all kinds of goodies and I'm happy to say that this place has lots to choose from the bakery is awesome. Lots of pastries and breads to try the deli counter had lots of meat to choose from sausages ham you name it they had it very German style. They also had selections of sausage sausages to get as well.. the store also has lots of authentic German choices to choose from candy chocolate, coffee, wine, alcohol jelly you name it they had a lot of it. Everybody working there was super nice. We would definitely come here again for all of our German treats and food..

This place is great! The music is fun, the food is rich with flavor, and the bartenders are very friendly! Check this place out and make sure you try the Bavarian Pretzel Sandwich!

My husband likes their fresh deli for the bratwurst and pimento loaf. I enjoy browsing the large variety of imported foods. Friendly employees always willing to answer questions. We've enjoyed their Christmas Market as a date night, and our Grandsons were thrilled with the humongous pretzel sandwiches in the Biergarten restaurant.

Two out of three employees I spoke to give off bad energy. The butcher was the person who handled me my iced mocha but said they were out of lids? He was the only employee that I thought was normal. I can also see and hear him with other customers and he is a 5/5 stars by himself on 2nd of August 0930 2025. The shop looks clean and organized and I do want to buy some cookies before I go but debating it because I don't know how I'll feel about the next employee I talk to. Eating a desert first thing in the morning. - Update to my review yesterday and I didn't buy any items at their shop after I had their iced coffee and cake. I don't have any regrets and I'll never return. I think my review is very valid. 3rd of August 2025

Love coming here. Worth the drive to this sweet little Old German world and German food!! Wonderful ambiance, friendly service and so much to eat and take home. don't miss this gem if you like European food, beer, wine and bakery goods. Jason our bartender was wonderful.

This place is truly a hidden gem with great customer service and a friendly staff. Since we've traveled to Germany many times, we love coming here to find German and European products. They often have a wine tasting table, along with a great selection of baked goods, frozen items, and shelf-stable products. The shop itself has a cute and charming atmosphere. Located inside Old World Village, this specialty store has too many great things to fit into one review, but if I had to pick highlights, it would definitely be their deli and bakery counter. They also carry a nice selection of liquor and other European goodies that can be hard to find elsewhere. While prices are a bit higher than average, many of these items are rare finds, usually only available online. Plus, visiting Old World Village itself is a fun experience, you never know what you'll come across until you see it in person! It's definitely worth a trip for a fresh pretzel, a warm loaf of bread, or some authentic Bavarian sausage.

A cool little spot selling a lot of good German snacks, meats, and drinks. There was a pianist playing/singing when I came since it looks like they are celebrating the holidays a bit early. Was all decked out with decoration and was cool to walk around and check out everything.

Grocery store, deli, bakery and restaurant with full bar and German inspired menu. Variety of products not found in most grocery stores. Deli section and bakery with cakes and other traditional and non traditional sweets. Attached restaurant has a decent menu of German/bavarian style foods. After picking up a few items in the grocery store we stopped for a bite to eat. Ordered a couple of appetizers to share and a cake flight for dessert. The ham and cheese pretzel sandwich was served on am a giant Bavarian pretzel with a selection of dips and spreads. The jaeger fries were similar to poutine with a mushroom style gravy and shredded cheese instead of the traditional cheese curds. Cake flight offered a selection of five decent sized slices which was more than sufficient for two people to sample. There were plenty of leftovers. Their 'perfect margarita' was delightful, and served with a grand marnier shot on the side. Staff is very kind and knowledgeable about the various menu items. Looking forward to com ing back to try some other menu items.

German chocolate cake was very dry. Not sure if they sold me an old one? Either way, for $60 I expected more.

I know all Walmarts have a standard staple items for their stores and groceries stores. However, all states and cities always stock some kind of local things specific to the area. Like the local coffee beans or honey as an example. For that, I am the crazy person who looks for that! This store sells everything. You can find the meat department, dairy, vegetables/fruits, bakery, drinks, pastas/rice, frozen, candy, miscellaneous household items and much more!!! The aisles seemed spacious. Overall, a great experience! The store was clean and stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ample parking. My better half bought some things for family. We found some specialty coffee beans and spices. I only purchased drinks for our room.

However, Amazon was selling them in 12 packs for $3/bar. I didn't see any stores selling individual bars. But I did see that Walmart was selling them for $2/bar in 5 packs. In addition, I could receive the bars the same day w/ free delivery. I ended up liking the bars and will buy more. Nonetheless, I will buy them from Walmart bc the price is cheaper vs Amazon, and Walmart offers the bars in smaller packs.

I discovered this place while helping a friend look for a Tesla Supercharger. Right off the 405 on…read moreWarner Ave there is a Vietnamese market called Mekong Supermarket inside the plaza. The store itself is smaller if you compare it with places like Shun Fat Westminster Superstore or Hòa Bình supermarket. There is only one checkout counter and the staff all seem to be Vietnamese. After walking around, they pretty much have all the basics covered. The focus is Vietnamese and Southeast Asian ingredients and sauces. They have their own seafood and meat counter with number tags where you can ask them to clean or cut fish, plus a small deli to go section. I also noticed their delivery vehicle outside that says wholesale, so it seems like they also supply restaurants in the area. Overall it feels like a neighborhood market that also does some wholesale business. The fresh section looked clean and there was no strong smell. I happened to see ground pork on sale for $2.49 per pound. The regular price was $2.79. Of course I had just paid $3.99 per pound earlier that day at 99 Ranch in Irvine because I wanted convenience. While we were there, a Vietnamese lady next to us was buying a big pile of meat and seafood and chatting with us while waiting for it to be cut. She said she always shops here. She ended up buying the last of the ground pork in the display. We asked if there was any left and the butcher said he had more in the back, so we immediately decided to grab two pounds. I think this place is perfect if you do not want to push a cart around a huge store and just need to pick up a few items quickly. They are open until 8pm. Next time I have more time I will come back and explore a bit more to see what other interesting things they carry. So if you need charge and also get groceries, this is where you'd wanna go. Selection wise everything is pretty fresh. They also have a lot of prepared Vietnamese foods as well which is nice. Lighting seems a lot brighter here compared to the other place. I think the vegetables can be a little bit more expensive compared to some other places, but if you don't want to go all the way up to Garden Grove or Westminster, this is a nice alternative.

Some items can be a bit overpriced, but the fruits and vegetables are definitely worth buying - they taste like they're straight from the garden. The downside is that you should be careful while choosing berries - sometimes there can be mold (though this can happen in any store). And that there's a credit card processing fee.
