I found some good reviews on the Nextdoor app for Sureflow Raingutters and had them come out to get me a quote. After meeting Sean in person I got a real sense of someone that not only really knew his business, but felt like he took pride in his work as well. The quote was right around where I expected it to be, so I went ahead and booked him for the job. His work here more than met my expectations, and we had our first big rain of the season yesterday to pretty much verify how good the gutters work. We collaborated on the placement of the downspouts as to keep them out of the more visible areas of my property. Thanks Sean on a job well done! I highly recommend Sureflow Raingutters if you're looking for someome to get the job done right.

Small family run business that out bid 4 other companies in the Santa Barbara and surrounding areas which included Santa Maria. I suspected that my best price would be outside of Santa Barbara, and these guys had THE BEST PRICE! They are from Oxnard, and perhaps because they are in house, their pricing was way better??? I don't know. But I took a chance on them and they not only delivered the best price, they delivered great work! Ours was a tricky project: an old Victorian in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, designated as an historic, "of merit home"... whoever bid on this project would have more hoops to go through before they could begin the work. Jose patiently took care of the permitting process, (I did have to get involved a couple of times as the city planning department is difficult to work with), but once we got the permit, Avila roofing got down to business like the pros they are! We had 6 layers of roofing material, yes, 6! I don't think they'd ever seen so many layers. The demo process was a lot more arduous and time consuming than they had initially anticipated. No matter, they did not complain. They took on the job and they were going to deliver. It took them a good week to demo, and then the repairs started: replacing old and rotten wood with new ones, installing insulation where needed, and when problems arose, (like when they found a bee hive with over 30,000 bees, they waited for us to clear the problem) before they progressed. No complaints. I'm under construction at the house, so there were a bunch of other debris... they worked around the mess, and at the end of each day, they cleaned up before they left. Huge thank you for that! Try them out, I've been in the construction business for a long time. I don't mess around with fancy names and marketing. These guys do the work themselves and are hungry to grow their business the right way. Good, honest hard work, done with integrity. Before and after pics attached

Creative Roofing Solutions was one of three companies that I had do a free estimate on a roof…read morereplacement. Though I don't have any leaks, I was concerned about El Niño pending and the fact that my roof was over 25 years old. Creative sent Salvador out to do the free assessment. After inspecting my roof he said that the previous company that had done the roof had done an excellent job with excellent materials. He thought it had 3-5 more years of life. He offered to do some general maintenance and repairs plus clean the gutters for $300. No other company mentioned an alternative. Within a day Jon, the owner of Creative Roofing sent me two bids; one for replacement and one for the repairs. He also included a link to the asphalt tiles they use, which was helpful. They had the lowest replacement bid of the 3 companies. Salvador came out and did the repairs. I was very pleased with all aspects of working with this company.

Amazing experience from start to finish!…read more I am getting solar and they would not install since my roof was not in the best condition. The quote I got was the best price for the amount of good reviews they had. Jon is very responsive, did not make (too much) fun of my silly questions, and overall great to work with. They were very up front with the cost and what additional costs might be incurred during the job. That is scary to hear, but they did not find too many areas of concern and only had to replace a few pieces. It was communicated and I agreed upon it before they did any additional work or added any cost. They were too nice and did not even ask me to move my vehicles (I did before their scheduled arrival, which they were on time for). They worked tirelessly throughout the day and were respectful of the property. Nothing was damaged and they cleaned before leaving each day. There was a bit of misunderstanding that Salvador did not know he was supposed to do the small section attached to the house as well, but they happily came out again a few days later. This just makes me feel that much more comfortable that they would be responsive if there are any other issues I may encounter in the future. Only time will tell how well it will hold up. However, it seems like quality work and I am a happy camper with the great looking new roof. I will not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone! Thanks again!

I received several of the typical obligatory dry "make an appointment response", but only two gave a get to the point response. The A & E response was intriguing, with a ball park, even though he had no reviews. In talking with him I was convinced that he really wanted to and had the knowledge to do an effective job, so I invited him and another. He was not only on time; he was early, but waited in his truck until the exact time. He listened to me and researched anything that I suggested, before telling me his plan. I tested him with questions and he flew through them with better ideas. I tried to suggest making another appointment day for the job. He then hit me with the best close in the business "If I had the stuff in the truck can we do it today"? Oh, I loved it! He went to work, I left him alone until He invited me to check his work and I was totally pleased. He even had to crawl into my attic, for one side of the house, which was extremely hot (he was soaking wet). What a trooper! A & E Roofing is a new business, although he worked for a major company for many years. That explained the lessor number of reviews. His business is going to explode. Look folks, I will absolutely hire A & E Roofing for my roof and gutter work in the future. I trust this man and I think you will be pleased as well.
