Brought my BMW in for two recalls with a loaner vehicle graciously offered for the inconvenience. I arrive at the service area to swarms of employees bustling around, busy techs, girls in 6 inch heels... I arrive at the desk to sign in and the woman curtly points back outside..."you have to be helped out there first". Interesting. I've had much more genuine and professional help at every other BMW location I've ever set foot into. The service tech, a young man, was extremely courteous and helpful and was the best part of my whole experience. After finishing with him I then returned to the help desk to collect my loaner vehicle. Guy in a suit politely introduces himself and proceeds to try and sell me $450 worth of services my car 'is in need of'...without even stepping into my vehicle. I haven't been in the area and have had my oil changes and other regular maintenance meticulously taken care of in another state. I decline the services offered and go about my day. A few hours later Suit calls again to give me an updated list of every repair my BMW needs. I explain I simply want the manufacture defects taken care of and nothing more, as I will be trading this vehicle in within the next 3 months. To my astonishment, within an hour my recall repairs are completed and they are ready for me to collect my car. I must say I've never had such prompt service! I was just relieved the whole experience was over with. read more

Germain BMW of Naples is the finest Service Deparment of any dealership I have ever been to.. I have owned many BMWs including several M cars over the years and this is the Only place I allow to touch my cars. I actually drive 2.5 hours from Miami just to get my car serviced here because they are impeccable. My service advisor Chuck answers calls, never makes me wait long, is always friendly and happy to see me and addresses every one of my issues without hessitation. Their list of repairs that was emailed to my husband totalled about $1800 just in parts. Paid for diagnostics elsewhere and NOTHING was found other than a piece of plastic stuck in the wheel making the noise I was hearing in the rear end. read more

My maintenance service was scheduled and none one asked me if I needed a car or if I will wait for my car. Today, I called since I have a brake light on for break pads and I was told that it was ok to wait until service day. I don't feel comfortable driving this way so explained my concern to the assigned person "specialist " for my account and not only he was rude and mean to me, but he was not accommodating my needs in any way possible. I'm very disappointed of the customer service that this dealer is providing lately. They took away the carwash service because of COVID and never brought it back. I have been buying from this dealer for over 18 years. I bought in Nov. of 2020 a 750i 2018 and bought an extended Maintenance agreement for 48 months or 50,000 miles. Well, when I took my car for service now they told me my warranty was up for maintenance, I told them it was still under warranty. so, I said maybe I was wrong so I asked them how much was the extended warranty and they gave me the price. When I went back they had changed the number & increased the price of the new maintenance contract. I brought them my Original Contract which states that I had bought 48 mths or 50,000 mls, but they kept on telling me that it was 1 year. They are rip off artist. Service department made me feel completely out of place more then once as well as looked down on my absolutely gorgeous flawless in every way other then high highway mileage. They didn't do half what I asked for and charged an insane amount. The parts department is a rip Off I can get same part from any other dealer at 20 percent less if not more. Kudos to this dealership and their Service Manager, Bill, for providing outstanding service. I am considering the purchase of a used BMW through Carvana. The vehicle's CarFax report indicated that the vehicle was purchased new from Germain BMW and had received service at the dealership. I contacted the Service Manager to get more detailed service information. Bill called me back and went through the service records, including the fact that on the occasion the two previous visits for service, the vehicle owner declined the recommendation to perform an oil and filter change. This called into question whether this important service had been provided, and provided concern about the vehicle should be purchased. After our initial telephone conversation, Bill called me back and indicated that a more detailed review of Germain's computerized service records revealed that the vehicle's computerized service monitoring module had been reset by another service provider, providing some indication that oil and filter changes had probably been performed, but not reported to CarFax. This additional information was important. Bill, went an extra mile to both perform the added research and call me back to report it. He further recommended that I have a Pre Purchase Inspection performed on the vehicle before I purchase it. I will definitely take his advice. Anyone seeking a reliable and honest BMW service provider in the Naples, Florida, area need look no further than Germain BMW. However, since I am located in California, I can't take advantage of this valuable resource for future automotive service. read more

Had a bad key fob according to independent auto body shop. Came in. $225 for diagnostics. They wanted to charge me $1900 and another $900 to fix "faults. Said could not duplicate problem I brought in but I get in car to drive away and it does same thing it has every time I start car for a month. They want to create their own problems to the tune of 3k instead of what I need which is a 400 key and possibly a new battery because of age not problems. Will NEVER step foot in here or buy anything from them again. Been in Naples since 1996. This is a terrible company with arrogant pompous service people. read more

Paul Cullinan (General Sales Manager) proved to be especially ignorant, ineducable and indifferent to the dealership's error. They offer free car wash..well if you have all the time in the world..maybe you can use it. They offer free oil change..yeah this takes an over night process..they do give you a vehicle..but really and appointment for a oil change!!! When my husband picked up our car..he then looked around and found to chips together and the service advisor said they did not do that..if they had they would fix it..Well my husband washes our car on a weekly bases and we had chips (2)from rocks..but these were together and not there before. Anytime we have to leave our car or valet park we check our car for scratches, etc. If you know my husband you know how he takes care of his car. This is our first BMW and I have to say our last because of service. We also purchased a back mat and paid good money of which it rolls..it is soooo cheap!! read more

I purchased my certified pre-owned 321i BMW 1 year ago and am still very dissatisfied with my Germain BMW experience. When my BMW was initially delivered to me I noticed that my Bluetooth did not work and that the driver side cup holder did not work. My local BMW dealer informed me that these defects should have been detected during the certified pre-owned inspection. He walked me through the certified pre-owned inspection process and clarified that Germain definitely did not do an accurate Certified Pre-owned BMW inspection for my car since these would have been found and fixed if they had. Since I was within a week of my purchase my local BMW recommended that I contact Germain BMW to ask them to cover the cost of the repairs since they were minor and should have been found during any usually certified pre-owned inspection. I explained the same thing with Kevin Browne who was immediately very defensive and rude. He told me very frankly that the BMW certified pre-owned inspection process was not that extensive and in the bottom line he sold me a used car and there could be issues with it. He was correct. Since then in addition to the cellphone blue tooth not working, the side mirrors are damaged and have to be replaced, the drivers side cup holder still has not worked since the day that I received my car, and on occasion the trunk will not stay closed. BMW informed me that the certified pre-owned inspection process differs per dealer and it is clear that Germain does not thoroughly inspect their vehicles. Purchasing a certified pre-owned BMW from Germain with the dealer markup is not worth the experience and I could have simply bought a used BMW off of the street with this experience. read more

Very disappointed with the new car sales process. With no discounting on the sticker price due to inventory shortages, the only issue to settle on was the trade-in price. The sales person took my car keys and disappeared to "work up a trade-in price". After 20 minutes he finally came back with a $17,000 offer, but without my keys. This is a typical sales process: stretch out the process so the customer gets tired, hungry and invested in getting a deal done. No apologies for the delay. It took me only 2 minutes on-line to get a $23,465 trade-in offer from Caravan website based on the vehicle's actual VIN number and mileage. Avoid Germain! They will waste your time and try to pull the wool over your eyes. read more

Air bag recall was handled extremely poorly. Had to call back 4 times, made an appointment then they didn't have the part. They gave me a discount on another service to make up for the error, though this was poorly explained and expensive. Gave them another chance, with a spark plug repair. Quoted me $500 to do all plugs. Tried to sell me coils for all cylinders which was not needed. Turned out to be $800. Repairpal.com says this should be $250 max! Never called to tell me it was ready. When I called, they said it was. Car was filthy when I picked it up. Supposedly I was to receive a first aid kit as part of a promotion, asked about it, and they said it was in the car - wasn't. I know that when I deal with the BMW dealer I am going to pay a premium. I expect premium service for that price, and they have missed the mark badly. I will find another mechanic. read more

I walked into the showroom at BMW of Naples this afternoon at 3:30. No one greeted me. No one was at the reception desk when I arrived. I waited for a couple of minutes. Employees were walking around the showroom but no one ever greeted me or even acknowledged me. I decided to go outside and start looking at the X5's which I was in the market to test drive. I walked the entire parking lot where the new cars were and no one came out to see if I needed anything. I would say I was at the dealer for a total of 20 minutes and was never approached. I expect better service from a luxury dealer. They have lost a sale and will never have me as a customer moving forward. I'm addition to buying a vehicle I was looking to sell my 2017 Range Rover Evoque Convertible. They lost two potential sales today. read more

I called the dealership on 8/04/20 because I drove past and saw a 2016 Black Toyota Truck on the lot for sale. I inquired about the truck with salesman Bob Davidson. I viewed the truck online to read about the details, mileage and condition of the truck along with the price? I explained the truck was for my son whom lives in St.Pete,Fl. about 2-3hrs north of the dealership. I explained my sons credit and limits he could spend and that we have been in search of a truck similar to this truck for 3-6months now and how my son could drive that far if the truck was in good shape and a deal could be made? Bob asked for my sons phone number so he could talk to him about the truck and send him photos. My son agreed to meet the next day after taking off from his job and drive all the way down to close on the deal. Bob indicated that without a deposit he could sale the truck before my son arrived but would work on the paperwork so as to minimize the time it takes to complete the purchase. Bob ran my sons credit which was a "Hard Inquiry " now on my son's credit report. My son arrived at 1pm to close the deal. Only when my son stepped out of his truck and walked over to the truck we immediately pointed out to Bob that the truck has damage that was not visible on the photos and website listing and never exposed to my son before he drove all the way here to see it and buy the truck. The tires would need replaced as the wear revealed obvious wear on the inside of all the tires and Bob said they would be ok if my son had them rotated often. Then we pointed out to Bob the paint job was marked with marks not seen on the photos and was not up to an acceptable appearance with marks and small dings on the side of the truck and even recent damage to the rear driver side door there was a fresh dent leaving the paint chipping away. This truck had obviously been driven hard and the damage was never exposed in the photos or by Bob ahead of my son driving 2.5 hours all the way from St. Pete. Bob asked what it would take to make the deal acceptable at this point. My son was angry that we had been deceived by Bob (who could have been honest up front and sent pictures of the damages instead of the photos which did not expose the damages) that son said it would take a miracle price for him to buy this truck as it was never presented with full disclosure of the damages. Bob could have informed us of the condition of this truck prior to my taking off work and getting all excited about finally finding the truck we had been searching for. We were about to leave and Bob said he was sorry we didn't like it, he understood the damages we pointed out as a "Deal-breaker" and said they were pulling the truck off the lot and sending it over to their body & paint shop to address the damage we pointed out. when we left the dealership we were very angry with Bob for not being upfront and honest and felt that he represented car salesman as having NO integrity or honesty and would go to any means it took just to sale a truck. I think Bob thought that after my son drove all the way here that he would not leave the truck and would be persuaded to buy it. My son surprised Bob by walking away and was not going to be a victim of another unethical salesman from a car dealer. We shall NEVER set foot on a Germaine car lot again. As Bob is a perfect example of a salesman without integrity and honesty only looking for a Buck for himself. I doubt we will ever be able to trust another salesman from Germaine. There are a lot better deals and prices in the Tampa Bay area and will probably look a new truck somewhere else. Very disappointed in Germaine Used Car salesmen. I only hope this review saves others from the deceptive practices of Bob and that you can't trust him! Gratefully God does for us what we can't do for ourselves and protects us from people like Bob in this tragic time in our country. I own a 2007 BMW 530i with over 140,000 miles on it. Just moved to the area from Dallas last year and needed to establish a relationship with a repair facility for my vehicle. Tried an independent repair shop a few months ago but turned out he really made a mess of my car. Needed a baseline of my cars condition and took it to Germaine. Had several items to check, one of which was a strange shifting transmission. Fearing a transmission repair was on the horizon, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the previous shop had overfilled my transmission!! Came away feeling better about the condition of my car after Germaine had checked it out. Chuck Griffith was my advisor and helped with loan car and reviewing the repairs.
