Horrible customer service. Been going here for 10 years. Has gotten awful since COVID. I won't be back. Had an obscure cooling device malfunction, so my car almost overheated. Was just past the 36,000 mile warranty (just over 40,000 miles on the car). Had it towed to Germain and they quoted me over $4,000 to replace and repair a tiny part. I took the car from the lot at night and drove it to Naples Park Garage, where they've done excellent work on my car. Of course, cheaper and better work done on the car. Germain NEVER has loaner cars. Shamefully run outfit. I will never recommend buying, leasing, or servicing there. The finance guy ripped my off over 4 years ago. Also, my leather seats cracked and they wanted to charge me $2800 for a new seat. See ya.... Awful dealership. I'll never go back. read more

Can not be trusted Ordered a car and made a deposit. Verified on three occassions that no additional charges ould be forthcoming.Just before shipment was told there was an additional $9100 charge. Just purchased my 7th true M car, this one being a 21 X5M Comp with just over 20k miles. Car was in amazing shape and they did a great job on the detail. The trade in of my previous car was the easiest I've ever had, and they gave great market value. All things were great up until I left the dealership, as it always goes down this way. Check engine light came on and the brakes started screaming like a school bus. I also was able to notice how bad the alignment was on the highway... where I missed on the test drive as I was sticking to the salesman's back roads. I reached out to my salesman on that drive home letting him know everything mentioned above. Long story short, they advised the brakes are supposed to sound like that (I replaced them myself and of course, no sound) And there was nothing they would do to help me, the deal was done. Moral of the review here, I've had dealers that stand by their sales when things aren't the customers fault, but at the end of the day it's not the dealers responsibly, and this Germain BMW location lives by the model "it's a done deal", so make sure you do your due diligence on the vehicle before signing on the line. This was my mistake as I've always gotten red carpet treatment from sticking to a specific dealer in MD and being a high volume revolving customer (14 BMW's in 6 years), and anything that popped up was always addressed. (I have to remove illegal tint the car came with, a broken exhaust flap, get an alignment, replaced brake pads, replace the windshield that I was told they would take care of, purchase a wheel lock key set, and replace an 02 sensor to fix the check engine light.) read more

Lying cheats!! Was told a diagnosis was $295.00. Then charged me 39$ for disposal n materials fee?? Really I asked n she couldn't tell me what materials were used n disposed of when diagnosing my car. Service sales woman then told me I was lucky as she could have charged me 2 more times for other diagnostics I did not ask for but they did. Then when my $5200+ AC estimate came I asked for a breakdown.. she couldn't give me one & had none. This place will bleed you dry!! Run!! read more

New to the area and having BMW's for the last 25 years I selected to take my x4 for an oil change and new tires. My service advisor was George. He took care of all of my needs and went above & beyond and offered the best customer service. In 2024 I went back as I needed new tires and a few items to take care of. Unfortunately, when I arrived and asked for him, and was informed of his recent passing, and I was given Christine Barta as my new advisor. She gave me a quote that I found to be very high and would not provide me with cost estimate and full breakdown of fees. I tried reaching her by phone and e-mail several times and all she would do is send me the same quote without a breakdown. I contacted the service manager who never responded to my request for the breakdown and never made an effort to reach me. Therefore, I ended up going to BMW of Ft. Meyers, as I could no longer trust this particular location. I have always used BMW dealerships and have had exceptional customer service as well as building strong relationships with my service advisors. For this reason, I give them a 1 star. If I cannot trust a dealership I will not do business with them. read more

I have no doubt at this service will go Smoothly. Just calling to schedule Germaine BMW North Naples made it so easy as opposed to BMW of Fort Myers made it seem like she was doing me a favor trying to see if she could "Squeeze me in" for a DROP OFF oil change. When I told her how surprising that was to hear, it being so deep in the summer, she then explained to me how they were very, very busy. Not wanting to cause her anymore undo stress, I scheduled with Germain BMW in North Naples. Update: Christine was my service writer and she was pleasant. The service was seamless. So I am updating on my experience with Germain. Joe found me the perfect BMW. I wanted sporty, fast, bold color , low miles and something that would fit easily into my garage along side my husbands SUV. The staff is great, at one point my key fob needed a new battery so another salesman helped me because Joe had other customers waiting on him. Lots of teamwork at this dealership . Finance was easy, low pressure. Joe even went over and actually helped me program items in my new car. I have to be honest, after our horrific experience at McGrath Volvo of Ft Myers , we debated buying another car at a dealership or opting to purchase online. Germain has renewed our faith in what a good car dealership could and should be. Anyone living in Ft Myers needs to make the drive to see what good service and prices are available at this dealership before purchasing a vehicle elsewhere. read more

I recently leased a new 7series BMW from Kyle Barry with the help of his sales manager David Walker-Hughes. Both were very easy to deal with and Kyle spent a lot of time explaining the differences between different cars I was looking at. He knows the electronics like the back of his hand and has them totally learned and explained them well. We are very pleased with their help and kindness in helping me find the right car. Here is one more dealership to avoid in Naples. I'm not sure what's in the water in Naples, but everything here is overly complicated. Just bring your car back north for proper attention because they all over charge down here and suggest unnecessary work. I am not a fan of gouging clients, but Naples does it well with almost every business of every kind. Volkswagen is even worse. I don't want to waste even more time complaining but this city is not worth living in full time any more. read more

I guess every car dealer is basking in their seller's market and Germain is no different. I give them the second star because at least they had the courtesy to communicate with me as they were screwing me over. Even if their running could not have been worse. After insisting on making an appointment to show me a car I'd inquired about and then confirming it I received a voicemail and text message just as I was exciting the highway after a 90 minute drive to the dealership. The message informed me that the car was under contract to someone else. But the way, from the moment I found the car in online listing until the day I set out to buy it I watched the price creep up by $2000 on the listing. When I called the dealer to inquire the salesman told me he would send me a video walk around of the car. I asked if he could point out specific features in the video, both good and bad. If he had done anything more than the bare minimum generic (that I didn't need because I already had access to the same pictures/videos in the listing) I would have made an offer and begun negotiations remotely and instead of showing up to Naples to have lunch and write a nasty review I'd have shown up to sign the documents and buy a car. I told him this in our phone conversation. It could have been his sale. read more

I stopped by the dealership and spent over one hour of my time to get an estimate on a new car. The salesman promised to have the estimate emailed to me by the end of that business day. Two days later, and I had never received it. After speaking by phone with the sales manager, she said she had no excuse. I was willing to spend approximately $100,000 on a new electric SUV and they ended up treating me like it didn't even matter. I highly recommend that you do not use the dealership. They keep you posted on your car's progress via text message, which is wonderful. One of the messages included a video review of my car. I entered Germain BMW this morning with one objective to purchase of lease an AWD X5 . I was introduced to a salesman and he inquired if I ever had this car . Well yes over 5 BMWs , 5 Mercedes and many other . We walked outside to look at one that had just arrived. He went in side to obtain the keys and why we didn't' initially walk out with keys is ????. Seven to eight minutes later i am still standing outside looking at the vehicle and getting annoyed. Finally I left . Why do car dealerships play these stupid games. Leaving the customer , let me talk to my manager, etc. Many years ago I purchased an X5 for Germain and the service manager was so anti customer I vowed to never come back, well I should have kept my vow. The management and owners have truly exemplified what professionalism and customer service should be. I live in Miami and will drive up to Naples each time in order to be treated fairly and professionally. It wasn't a big deal to me, as he got someone to drive me home and I didn't need my car that evening, but he was genuinely concerned that he had inconvenienced me - - he had not! I bought my BMW here and was informed of their award winning customer service department. So far it's not even satisfactory. I'll be 2000 miles over my oil change mileage date by the time they can "squeeze me in" 6 weeks from now. Not OK. Time to have service open later, work overtime to get caught up or hire more people. I've been a Germain BMW customer for over 12 years, having purchased multiple cars from them. I stopped in to the service department today because the check engine light was on in my 2018 750i. I was told that the first available appoint for someone to look at it would be May 26 which is 6 weeks away. When I realized that they were not joking, I was very disappointed. What if it is something serious and it gets a lot worse? There is something amiss in the service department. Update: After my initial Yelp review was posted, I spoke with the service manager who, after hearing the specifics of my situation, juggled the schedule to fit me in. I thought this was a very reasonable and appropriate follow-up and I have upgraded my rating. read more

The convertible top on my 2018 650i refused to close. Off to my regular service advisor Rohel Gray. It was late in the day so Rohel got me a ride home and kept the car overnight. By mid morning the next day, Rohel had it diagnosed, part on hand and texted the estimate for my approval. Had the car back all shinny and in good working order by mid afternoon. Probably would have been don quicker if I had been more timely in my responses. Good job as usual Rohel. This kind of personal attention is very important to me.
