I noticed them while driving and decided to stop and get an estimate, one of three I was planning on obtaining. I have an older vehicle in great shape that has sentimental value to me as it's my beloved sister's last vehicle before she passed away several years ago. I noticed a rough spot by the lower back tail gate and a tiny rusty area near the back wheel fender. I'm proactive about everything and addressed the problem long before it turned into something major. I feel completely betrayed and taken advantage of by this shop. After a stressful accident where I hydroplaned and damaged my car (and my insurance had just expired), I went to this local shop seeking help. The mechanic acted like he genuinely cared, only to exploit my vulnerability with lies and poor workmanship. The repairs were not only incompetent but also dangerous. He installed the wrong headlights, which now point directly at the road, making nighttime visibility terrible and causing constant bulb failures. My rear lights were left disconnected, leading to repeated police stops and safety concerns. My battery was left unsecured, causing frequent breakdowns, and my AC was left unusable. He even resorted to gluing on fog lights that have since fallen off, and the paint job is already failing. Despite my efforts to rectify the headlight issue by finding and sending the correct ones, he strung me along for four months with ridiculous excuses, including a nonsensical claim about a stolen delivery. My biggest regret was paying over $3,000 in cash upfront, which now makes it difficult to afford proper repairs elsewhere. This individual's dishonesty and incompetence have left me with an unsafe vehicle and significant financial burden. Please, learn from my devastating experience and choose a trustworthy mechanic.
