Pics are attached of the small crack before, and then the spreading crack immediately after. I was going to just suck it up and replace the windshield but that doesn't sit right with me that I paid full price for them to damage my windshield further. Updating to add that safelite did reach out a few days later and address the concern. Updating to 4 stars as their customer service after the fact was good.

I had a complete windshield repair scheduled to be done at my home in Spring 2021. Everything…read moreseemed to go off without a hitch. Unfortunately, the windshield wasn't installed properly. It was rattling and I could hear wind coming in through the passenger side. I had to go to the store so that they could look at it. They found nothing wrong. After that visit, I was able to get video of the noise coming from the windshield, and took my car back again. That time, they said that some clips were loose, and they were able to fix it. Unfortunately, the noise from the windshield continued. I called to let them know that I was still having problems and the person I spoke with on the phone said that I had a second full windshield repair, which I definitely had not. I had gotten a text from Safelite, informing me of service completed, on a day that I most definitely did not have my car there. I figured they just mixed up a phone number. But no, they actually tried to say that I got my windshield replaced twice. The glass chipped in less than four months. The entire experience was absolutely horrendous. My windshield never was installed properly, I was told I received more service than I did and now it's chipped too. My car was broken into and I needed a replacement passenger front window ASAP. I called numerous…read moreplaces for same day service quotes, and Auto Glass Discounters was by far the best price for the service. They were incredibly responsive when I called, and answered all of my questions. I paid $238.25 for the mobile service, which included glass clean up, the replacement window, labor, and taxes. The technician came out to my apartment later the same day, was very communicative and the install took less than an hour! After installation, he went through everything he did, what I could expect (i.e. hearing glass in the door is normal, keep an eye out for glass coming out of the drain at the bottom of the door), and told me I can call to get a full itemized list of everything I was charged for. After a fairly upsetting day dealing with my car being broken into, contacting Auto Glass Discounters was the easiest part of my day and quickly eased my stress about getting a replacement installed. Hopefully I will not need auto window replacement service again anytime soon, but if I ever do I'll definitely be calling them again!

Now we have hundreds of dollars coming out of our pockets to fix this company's disaster of a window replacement. Unbelievable. After day 1, we were told any damage to the vehicle would be fixed at the company's expense. Nothing was fixed On day 2. The "let's make a deal price" was agreed upon between Jeff and my Fiancé with him stating the full warranty would be honored with the receipt from your company, yet no one will take our calls or have enough respect to call us back to resolve the damage caused by your technician. The door now rattles with glass at the bottom, which was a careless job. Stop making excuses. Fix the problem, you know it's there.
