Pics are attached of the small crack before, and then the spreading crack immediately after. I was going to just suck it up and replace the windshield but that doesn't sit right with me that I paid full price for them to damage my windshield further. Updating to add that safelite did reach out a few days later and address the concern. Updating to 4 stars as their customer service after the fact was good.

I had a complete windshield repair scheduled to be done at my home in Spring 2021. Everything…read moreseemed to go off without a hitch. Unfortunately, the windshield wasn't installed properly. It was rattling and I could hear wind coming in through the passenger side. I had to go to the store so that they could look at it. They found nothing wrong. After that visit, I was able to get video of the noise coming from the windshield, and took my car back again. That time, they said that some clips were loose, and they were able to fix it. Unfortunately, the noise from the windshield continued. I called to let them know that I was still having problems and the person I spoke with on the phone said that I had a second full windshield repair, which I definitely had not. I had gotten a text from Safelite, informing me of service completed, on a day that I most definitely did not have my car there. I figured they just mixed up a phone number. But no, they actually tried to say that I got my windshield replaced twice. The glass chipped in less than four months. The entire experience was absolutely horrendous. My windshield never was installed properly, I was told I received more service than I did and now it's chipped too. I will never use this company again, and will tell everyone that I know to stay away! What a mess! Attaching a photo of their response to my review on Google. Thanks for the great work, guys.

They sent a tech who had no idea what he was doing and tried to put the window in the wrong way. He completely damaged our new truck. The next day, they sent another tech to fix the other guy's mess. After making me miss 2 days of work to be home for this to get taken care of, they wanted me to pay full price because they "had to send 2 techs" to our home. The "manager," Jeff, literally insulted, threatened, and argued with us about giving a discount for what we had to go through and after knowing our vehicle was damaged. We sent multiple pictures to Jeff, proving the damage, as well as his tech on camera causing the damage. However, they refuse to call us back. Now we have hundreds of dollars coming out of our pockets to fix this company's disaster of a window replacement. Unbelievable. Answering to your comment, Gary: This shows the complete ignorance and disrespect you have for your customers. Here you are arguing with me over something that was 100% your company's fault. After day 1, we were told any damage to the vehicle would be fixed at the company's expense. Nothing was fixed On day 2. The "let's make a deal price" was agreed upon between Jeff and my Fiancé with him stating the full warranty would be honored with the receipt from your company, yet no one will take our calls or have enough respect to call us back to resolve the damage caused by your technician. The door now rattles with glass at the bottom, which was a careless job. Stop making excuses. Fix the problem, you know it's there.

When I called back, the woman was unfriendly, said she knew nothing about the quote and that they didn't do mobile repairs. I contacted corporate twice. Zero response. Just a regular truck no bells and whistles but what makes it special is it was my dad's last truck. He and my son would take rides together just the two of them. When dad got sick he asked me to make sure my son got the truck. He did and we've kept it in great mechanical order, but the white paint lost its luster and I just happened to put a nice dent in the right rear quarter panel. I promised to get it fixed and Gerber was the only real choice. When they estimated the fixes, we talked about the old and new paint and well we decided to fix more. To say the truck looks amazing really doesn't capture the change in it or in our love for it. I know its just a truck but there are trucks and there are trucks. This one will be with us forever and the care, respect and craftsmanship that Gerber brought to the work was incredible. Thanks to the team for treating us and our rides so well.
