He was prompt in responding to our call, and quick in coming out to review the situation and give an estimate. His prices were very reasonable, and he was diligent in coming out to measure for the liner and arranging for installation. He also coordinated effectively with the water delivery business, saving us from having to make these arrangements ourselves. In addition to his consistently fine work, Alex was impressive in his frequent communication with us about the steps he was taking throughout the project, a quality much less evident (sadly) this day and age. His work ethic, commitment to excellence, and determination to get the job done within a reasonable time frame make him stand far above many of the other pool businesses we have worked with locally, over the 27 years we have owned our pool. We have no reservations about recommending his business, and we certainly will be working only with him for any future needs for our pool!

I would not recommend Rome Pool and Spa based on my experience…read more Initially, I was very disappointed with the poor communication that occurred leading up to the installation of my liner. They then installed a new liner in my pool, but during the installation my pool frame was damaged. After discovering the damage, I immediately contacted them to notify them of the damage. The management (Beth) was unreceptive to request to assess the damage and I made multiple requests to attempt to rectify the situation by repeatedly asking to have them come back and assess the issue. Rather than taking the time to inspect what happened, they were dismissive and unprofessional throughout the entire process. Instead of accepting any responsibility or even investigating the damage, they blamed the winter weather, suggesting that leek and fold in the frame following the liner installation, was a result of rust never brought to my attention and winter wear and tear. Those explanations made little sense given the circumstances, and they seemed more interested in avoiding responsibility than helping resolve the problem. especially since a new liner should never leak. Good customer service doesn't end when the job is finished--it includes standing behind your work if something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this company refused to cooperate in any meaningful way or work toward a fair resolution. If you're looking for a company that stands behind its workmanship and treats customers professionally after the sale, this was not my experience.

You will need an electrician, and patio -- and they will not help you coordinate with those people. The sales team was lack luster and completely uninterested once they had my $20,000. They will not help you make sure that specs and directions are thought out or considered. It may be that your ridiculously expensive hot tub is facing the wall of your house, with the cover blocking the view. Also, the head of delivery interrupted me, talked over me, yelled at me, hung up on me then told someone else not to connect me with the manager. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They will take your money and will not stand by their work.

Our schedules are chaotic at home..but we tried to make sure someone could be here when they planned to come. However planning those appointments was like planning a world tour! We would call....leave a message.....and no one would return our calls.....I don't think we should have had to pay extra....but to be honest.....I just wanted to be DONE!!!! They opened it this year (2023) in May by the last week of June I noticed a leak from one of the pipes attached to the water heater. I called Riverside Pools and Spas and they sent a service person to repair it. I received a bill for $281.83! I was informed by the representative of Riverside Pools and Spas, when I called to question this charge, that because I contacted them so long after installation (2 months) that the $165.00 service charge was correct. Of course this would be the summer when because of the amount of grey and rainy days we did not use the pool as often and I did not notice the leak sooner. The service person indicated that the glue used to join the PVC pipe had failed, most likely because the heater had been turned on too soon after the pipes were joined, it would have been good to know this before it was turned on. What ever the case plumbing is not covered by a warranty. Lesson learned, we will be shopping for new pool service center, and I cannot recommend this business to anyone. If you do use them I encourage you to carefully check their work right after it is completed.

They spent many hours between diagnosing and repairing the problem. They were especially careful in what they did since the hot tub is in my sunroom and they made sure no water was spilled. It was extremely challenging removing our old hot tub because of where it was located. The old tub was sitting on an 8 foot high deck that had a 3 and a half foot iron railing that the tub had to be lifted over. And then lowered onto their trailer. They went over and above the call of duty and didn't damage our deck or landscaping. This was a very hard job and was done in 92 muggy degrees. Their prices are great and their service is 5 star.
