Trevor was so kind and helpful to our group picking toys! Our experience was great as we had such a hard time. Thank you, Trevor!

Nice store Such a fun place to bring the kids. They have a little bit of everything read more

I was at the Highlands and there was a LONG line of people at Geppetto's...all for Nee doh drop... i had nothing better to do (sad...i know) so i stood in line to hopefully snag a couple for my kids. women had 3-4 children with them to help with the 2 /person limit...hmm i wonder if I could borrow someone to get another 2...haha the slightly less hot day started to feel hot after a while but I already put in my time so I was going to get through this line... the staff came out with a basket to show us what they had in stock and we could hopefully make our decisions before getting to front of line to make it move faster. when I finally got to the front I got 2 of the popsicle needoh's (one for each kid)... as i left i noticed the line was significantly shorter so i stood in line again... got the color changing nee doh for each kid. staff is friendly and keep a positive vibe despite all us crazy parents standing in line for this hunk of squishy rubber read more

Hear me out, ok? Nothing is better than putting two clowns with ADHD in front of a massive bin of Wigglitz. My friend and I were in the area and decided hey, why not stop in here to see what they had. Massive variety of toys at very good price points, I'd say. We were wandering around when we stopped in front of this bin of wigglitz. We decided to check it out and just play (pick out which ones we wanted to buy) with some of the wigglitz, for a bit. Tell me why we ended up standing there for over 20 minutes, trying incredibly hard not to buy the entire bin. :) We got our goodies, got distracted with a bunch of other cool looking things in the shop, then paid and left but LOL (Positively) Dangerous place to take the kids (and young adults too, I guess), might end up buying a bunch of stuff from the shop. HAHAHAHA read more

Super cute toy store! I don't usually visit toy stores anymore, since shopping online or Amazon is so easy now, but we were here to grab lunch at Sky Deck. After lunch the toy store was packed and hubs suggested we go in there and take a look. I thought ok, still needed to pick up a gift for my nephew. Personally I loved all the ridiculously cute tiny stuffed animals, but I was not there to shop for me. The tiny penguin and little hedgehog.... OMG adorable! My nephew loves to build things - especially with Legos, but already has a ton of Legos, so I wanted to get him something different. The shop was jam packed full of goodies of all kinds of things, stuffed animals, toys for babies, adults, puzzles, science stuff, and more! We ended up getting a set that he can build different types of robots. Staff were friendly and they offer free gift wrapping, but don't remove the price tag, only black it out with a pen (but you can still kinda see the price) reason being, it's how they process a return if the gift was no longer wanted. I get it, but would rather get a gift receipt instead and sticker removed completely. 2026: 5 read more

Love an authorized distributor of Smiskis for their reasonable prices! Had great pulls, and got one secret Smiski (not pictured, it was the headphones Hipper). Detracting one star, because it's begun a gambling addiction to getting more Smiskis :( Had a very wide selection of Smiskis to get from, but the greedy part of me wishes they had a few more of the collections, like the Sundays one! read more

Used to frequent the location in 4S before they became a boxing gym. This location is always busy and has all the toys a child can imagine and more. It's easy to get in and out from and items are reasonably priced. This time around my son wanted a police car. How fitting was it that they charged $5.0 for it!? Lol Be back soon when I'm in the area. read more

Gepettos is the best toy shop around! They have everything for any child (or child at heart). Prices are a little on the higher end but overall reasonable and they offer free gift wrapping and punch cards on purchases which can be redeemed for money off future purchases. Staff was helpful at assisting with ages & presents. They also are very lax about kids playing and trying out toys. Def recommend! read more

Wonderful selection and great service. They also wrap presents which is a great help for a grandma of eight.

Very cute store but no doubt you are paying for branding here. I was browsing toys on their website last night. One toy -$29.99 but less than $12 at Target for the same exact toy. I don't even think you can remotely justify an over 100% price increase just because of location/branding. A few dollars maybe but this is outrageous. read more

Love having a great neighborhood store like Geppetto's ! Life with kids means my social calendar is filled with birthday parties! Most often, I have an idea of what to get as a birthday gift and I prefer to order it online. But occasionally I like to drop by Geppetto's for an interesting and trendy gift and save me the hassle of gift wrapping. Toys are priced at a premium but you get a curated selection, friendly staff, free gift wrapping, easy returns to any Geppetto's and a loyalty stamp card. read more

I was checking out the jelly cats with my friends, there was no worker behind the cash register and the man working who was elsewhere came over and made a rude snarky comment rather than asking us politely to move since it was a work station. He said, "You shouldn't be here it's a work area, it's like kind of being behind a bar" in a rude tone and waved us away. The environment became very negative and made me leave and not want to buy anything. read more

Also had a bad experience with the lady with glasses, was very rude after we grabbed a jellycat to look at the price. Keep in mind we were adults as she was talking down to us like we were children trying to steal. If you didnt want us to grab a jellycat maybe be proactive and put a sign up saying no grabbing jellycats. This review should tell you how they do business here. Bad attitude equals no money spent. read more

Very poorly trained employees. I purchased toys to this store and it's other locations multiple times in the past year and I spent over $600 on gifts, not even a single time they offered me the punch card upon check out which you're supposed to get a for every purchase above $20. It's just today for the very first time I was surprised that this thing exist. When I expressed my concerns, the employee refused to connect me with her manager, and said there's nothing they could do about previous processed even if I show them receipts. I'm no longer interested in wasting money at this place. read more

Browing with my little one and the lady with the glasses was extremely rude! I was getting the wishlist for x-mas but decided to not buy anything because of the gal checking people out. She walked around the store watching like we were going to steal something. I also have had to return items in the past and it is always a hassle even with a receipt. Sticking to target and amazon! read more

Nice selection for a smaller store ... nice staff. . . And they gift wrap what you buy....toys for tots collection outside

Very cute gift shop for kids. Lots of different toys from dolls, trucks, legos, stem toys, play tents and plenty of outdoor toys. If you are out of ideas as to what to get this could be a good place for inspiration for your next kid present read more

not really sure why the woman with glasses seems to be angry with me every time i want a jellycat? went in today and she handed me the one i asked about and i said i was gonna keep holding him bc i was going to buy him and she shook her head and grabbed him back when the register was maybe 4 steps away? she also once got very angry with me for pushing a jellycat behind the counter upright a little so i could see if it was a keychain or not, scared me *so* so badly. i'm autistic with a special interest and as much as they have a decent selection i'm not into being stared down every time i want a $20 stuffed toy read more

Our go to neighborhood toy store for birthday gifts. Here's why-- 1. It's conveniently located. And there are several locations so it's likely conveniently located to the gift recipient in case they want to exchange :). 2. They wrap for free! 3. They have a pretty good selection and staff are knowledgeable about what they carry and are good at pointing you in the right direction. 4. Exchanges are easy as long as the Gepetto's sticker is on the gift. No gift receipt necessary. They are definitely pricier that Amazon. But that price delta also comes with ease of exchange and free wrapping, so I'd say it's fairly priced. Tip - join their email list to receive coupons every now and then. read more

The only thing I don't like about this place is their prices! But hugely convenient when you are in need of a last minute gift that starts in a few hours and don't want to run to Encinitas to Target or Wal-Mart for toys! Thiis store is fairly small but seems to have a good selection of things the kids want. They always end up finding something to play with and you get stuck in there forever. Be careful! read more

Geppettos has a very good selection of unique and hard to find toys that you pretty much won't find anywhere else aside from shopping online. I do believe that Geppettos is probably one of the last really good toy stores left. I usually stroll in here every Christmas for gifts, which often include stuffed animals, old school board games or just some clever jr engineering games. The service here is always on point and it's never too crowded. The downside is obviously the price, this place is REALLY expensive. Be prepared to pay the price if you want the product, that's for sure but at least it saves you shipping costs... On the flip side to the price, they provide complementary gift wrapping services, which is super convenient for people like me who don't like to wrap. read more

I was looking for a toy store that offered me a bit more to look at than roaming the toy aisles at Target. I was gift shopping for a friend who has 2 small children, and they have a lot of cool toys already and I was looking for something a bit more unique just incase I ended up accidentally choosing something they already had. I also have a 2.5-year-old and was on the lookout for anything irresistible for her, as well. The organization of the store was pretty good. They themed things in a way that made sense, and it was clear where the 1-year-old toys were and I focused on that for my gift shopping. I did roam around a lot looking to see if I could find something neat for my daughter, but alas -- I didn't see much of anything I have not looked at before online. And of course: prices are much, much cheaper online. But it was cool to see some of the stuff in real life. Like the Calico Critters houses and sets, for example. The gift I picked up looked super cool and was well-received by the recipients. I am a cheapskate so I probably won't actually buy anything from here again, but I may browse for ideas. read more

Awesome toy store. The opposite of Toys R Us. High quality toys, good prices, surprisingly good selection. Great service.

This store is pretty small compared to their other stores but the fact that we can come in and play to kill time with the trains set up in the back of the store- is a big PLUS! Don't get me wrong- we leave with a 'present' OFTEN enough but not every time. The 4-star justification is because there are very few options for smaller purchases. It would be nice if there were a larger selection of less expensive cars (like $1.50 for a matchbox) so that a kiddo doesn't have to have a full meltdown because moms don't want to spend $10.00 each visit. With that said- the staff is super nice, the store manager knows us by name, and we never feel pressured to buy something (another HUGE PLUS). read more

Came here after work to pick up an LOL surprise doll to cheer up my 6 year old daughter who had a bad day at school. I walked in the store and it was empty, except for two workers who failed to greet me or acknowledge my presence. I circled through the store for quite awhile before finding the dolls, and no one bothered to ask if they could help me find what I was looking for. When I approached the cash register to pay, someone finally realized I wasn't invisible, and helped me with the transaction. Minus three stars for customer service and overpriced toys, (I could've gotten the doll for half the price at Target). read more

Support this local business. I had a great customer service experience with Denise and Brain and I feel it's important to support local business . Especially when they care and treat customers well. Most important it's a local business with great customer service. Let's support them! read more

Wow -- bought an item, returned it day later, and was accused of it being "USED" (it wasn't)! Then, refused to return funds on a gift card because I had a receipt. What? I'm giving a gift here, so wouldn't I want to give a gift card? To be used at their store? That the staff were rude -- Melissa and Laurie -- only made it more bizarre. Brian, you're pushing us out the door to Amazon. read more
