It's been since (Covid) 2020 that I let my natural color grow out, I have a white streak of gray right in the front and it makes life interesting. I was hesitant to get it colored because I do love my grays but a girl might need a change. (Ugh, decisions, decisions) I texted Fernanda the day before about being torn between color or no color. I walked in around 1pm the next day, was quickly greeted by Fernanda and we chatted about my color. She told me she would prefer not to add highlights only because I'd go back to having to get it retouched every 6-8 weeks and because she loves the way my grays look. I was kinda relieved she told me cause we opted NOT to color it, that might change later on in the year but for now, I left it as is. Grateful she was interested in the care to my hair and not just out to make $. Which is why I keep going back, Fernanda cares about making sure I was happy with my decision. Cleanliness is well kept here from restrooms to the work stations to the waiting area. I appreciate any business that takes sanitization and cleanliness a priority. Sure a business/barber can learn all that they can during their cosmo/barber school but will they actually apply it? Not many do. It's a must to sanitize. Here, you can be confident and sit comfortably in their chair knowing they've taken the time to make it an S.O.P., regardless of how busy it is.

My biggest issue continues to be the OWNER repeatedly canceling my appointments. This has happened more than once, and it is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Customers arrange their schedules around appointments, and our time should be respected too. What makes this especially disappointing is that the cancellations are coming from the owner herself. As the owner of a business, I would expect you to set the example when it comes to reliability, communication, and customer service. If a customer repeatedly canceled appointments, I'm sure it would be considered unacceptable and they could potentially be charged a cancellation fee. So why should customers be expected to simply accept repeated cancellations from the business? I have tried to be patient, but there is only so much inconvenience a customer should have to tolerate. I am leaving this review because this was genuinely my experience, and other customers deserve to know what they may encounter when booking here.

I tried calling the number listed on Yelp and Google but had no luck. The number is disconnected…read morebut I had time to go to the salon to make sure the business was still there. When I went, the store was closed but I heard a honk. To my surprise, it was Ann! She opened the door and explained to me that she went to do some errands due to a no show and I was able to fit in same day at the time I arrived. For cut, style, and wash, this was $40 either cash or Zelle to Ann. She told me that the number indeed is no longer valid and each of the hairstylists are contacted by their personal phone number to schedule appointments etc. I typically don't go to the same hairstylists unless if the price is cheap/ the person cuts well. Personally, $40 is a lot but I wasn't only give those services. Ann was the first hairstylist to ask me the temperature of the water I use to wash my hair since she noticed I have thinning hair. Even telling her I have genetic hair loss, she reassured me it can be combatted in some ways. I feel confident to come back to get my hair cut by Ann after my very first time here. Definitely out of my budget in some ways but where can you find this package for this price? I highly would recommend Ann! She's such a sweet person too!

She really does know how to cut textured hair.
