I am glad I did because India took her time feeling my head and making sure that the cut was appropriate. She didn't just take regular scissors and just cut my hair. She really does know how to cut textured hair. This morning I woke up with that bed hair as they say and all I did was add a little bit of water and a little bit of product and my hair got into place, when your hair is cut correctly, it will automatically lay appropriately, this shows your hairstylist knows what she's doing! Absolutely love India and Trish! They are both so sweet and professional. I'm new to the area and have been coming to see them for a few months now, and I am in love with the progress of my hair in this short amount of time. I used to hate getting relaxers in fear of the burn, but when I come here I have no signs of burning at all ! So I started going to India about 4 years ago. I was recommended to her by my cousin whose hair was always on point. My hair was badly damaged, so I decided to chop off the majority of my hair, get a pixie cut and grow it out from there. Let me tell you...she did not disappoint. First off, the professionalism is off da hook! You schedule a time, and actually are seen on time! 2) No one knows more about hair than India (my humble opinion). She truly is an expert. Especially if you want a pixie done right. I have been natural for 10 plus years and had a lot of negative experiences with hair salons and over use of heat but my hair has been thriving since I started coming here. They are extremely knowledgeable and are conscious of hair styling and hair health. Also, my mom who chemically treats her hair is thriving and growing.
