This is for this specific location. I previously left a review about my experience with this salon, but that review is no longer posted, so I am sharing my experience again. My biggest issue continues to be the OWNER repeatedly canceling my appointments. This has happened more than once, and it is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Customers arrange their schedules around appointments, and our time should be respected too. What makes this especially disappointing is that the cancellations are coming from the owner herself. As the owner of a business, I would expect you to set the example when it comes to reliability, communication, and customer service. If a customer repeatedly canceled appointments, I'm sure it would be considered unacceptable and they could potentially be charged a cancellation fee. So why should customers be expected to simply accept repeated cancellations from the business? I have tried to be patient, but there is only so much inconvenience a customer should have to tolerate. I am leaving this review because this was genuinely my experience, and other customers deserve to know what they may encounter when booking here. read more

Stephany is absolutely AMAZING! I am the definition of Type A and SO picky about who I let cut my hair, especially because I have really, really thick hair. I told her exactly what I wanted, and she absolutely delivered. It has taken me forever and so much shopping around to finally find someone I trust with my hair, and I can confidently say I found my girl for life! She took her time, listened to exactly what I wanted, and made sure my layers blended beautifully without leaving my hair looking choppy, which is always my biggest fear. Thank you so much, Steph! I'm beyond happy with my hair and will 100% be coming back. read more

genuinely blown away. I came in wanting a soft, blended balayage and walked out with the most natural, seamless color melt I've ever had. It's exactly what I pictured in my head -- maybe even better. From the moment I sat in the chair, Stephany made me feel comfortable, listened to every detail, and checked in throughout the process to make sure we were on the same page. The placement, the tone, the blend... everything is absolutely flawless. My hair looks expensive, healthy, and sun-kissed in the best way. The salon itself was clean, welcoming, and had such a relaxing vibe. I never felt rushed, and the attention to detail was next-level. You can tell staff really takes pride in their work. If you're thinking about balayage, RUN -- don't walk. I've never loved my color this much! read more

Stephany is in fact, THE ONE I've been going to her for years for my haircuts and finally decided to do a full transformation from dark Asian hair, to an attempt at going ashy blonde. Stephany really takes the time to hear what you want, educate on what we're working with, and execute!! Y'all, I cannot explain how much I LOVE my hair after being so nervous/anxious for my 1st/ big transformation like this!! The vibes here are calm, peaceful, and super chill. The team here really makes you feel at ease and comfortable which is so important!!! It really does matter who you go to, to trust your hair with, and I'm so grateful to have Stephany as my go to hair professional. Such a sweet soul who knows what's she's doing and listens to what you actually want! I'll be going here for the rest of my life, periodt!!! read more

I came in for a cut and color before a summer trip. Eyerim cut my hair and it was truly a perfect cut. Then Danny performed beautiful magic on my hair. Primorosa Salon - The perfect dimensions in color! So golden and smooth with my natural base. - Hair Salons Near Me - Hercules, California

I'm so happy to have found Danny - I've had two appointments with him so far but he is now my go-to stylist for hair color! Primorosa salon was recommended to me by my previous stylist as I wanted to stay local and after some research, felt confident that he would be able to give me what I was looking for. Both sessions I went in with certain ideas in mind but was unsure how they would be executed based on conditions I wanted to uphold (medium-low maintenance, work uniform policy, etc) and Danny was very helpful with his suggestions and transparency on the process. He is also very considerate on his clients wants/needs and in his process as well. First appointment was a postpartum Brown Balayage as I wanted to get back some low maintenance dimension to my hair. Second appointment I went with a Face Framing Peekaboo to change it up (doing balayages for a few years now) and wanted some color with the Pale Dusty Rose. The results were perfect each time and made me feel rejuvenated! read more

Danny is amazing! Both Danny & eyerim have done my hair for a few years now and I love how they always listen to what I want. Specially Danny, I recently booked him to do my balayage before my wedding and he took his time and left me flawless for my big day! He made sure to block out enough time to really give my hair the attention it needed. I have a LOOOT of hair but that was not a problem for him. He left me with the most beautiful blonde color! He is also super easy to get along with, and overall knows his craft really well. I would recommend him to anyone I know, and I will definitely keep coming back to him! read more

New to the area. Found this salon online. Booked with Stephany because of previous reviews that talked about her ability to cut layers. She was amazing. My hair cut came out exactly how I described it to her. She discussed what would and wouldn't work with the cut I wanted and it came out exactly how she explained it would. I'm very happy with the finished product. Will be a returning customer. read more

Danny was so amazing!!! I had came previously a few months ago for a root touch up but opted for just toner instead since the previous stylist damaged my hair. Today, I came in for an ashy/platinum blonde balayage! Danny talked me through every step, made sure I got exactly what I wanted from the reference photos, and persevered even though we had an unfortunate incident with the curling rod.. Needless to say, I'm glad I trusted Danny with my hair-- Thank you so much! read more

This is my second time coming to see Danny this year! For the previous session, I recently had a Japanese straight perm, and came in for a full balayage. He first tested my hair to see if it would hold for the coloring. I love the attention to detail and honesty! First time around I started off subtle with a warmer dark brown balayage. This time, I went more full and lighter, with a honey color, and he absolutely killed it! Danny is also very engaging and full of energy. I hope he never leaves because I will forever be seeing him for my hair needs. Thank you Eyerim for my trim as well! Can't wait to show off my hair! read more

Fantastic 4! Fabulous and Gorgeous Results! We live close to Primosa Salon. So when both my wife and daughter just wanted to get their hair rejuvenated one day, they both decided to make an appointment and check out the Primosa Salon. After they came back from their first visit at Primosa Salon, little did I know they will both have these satisfied smiles while looking gorgeous at the same time! My wife has a full thick hair, I like it. She has enough hair to compare her hair with any lion kings. Lol! She always wanted to cut it short to trim off the dead split ends. So she went to Primosa Salon and made her appointment with Jen to get a full highlight and a trim. As a result, my wife's hair looked voluminous, bouncy and healthy. Jen did a fantastic job! She was so happy with Jen that my wife returned again to Jen about three weeks ago before our oldest daughter's wedding to get a touch up and trim. Once again, the result was fantastic, see pictures! But that's not all. My youngest daughter also worked with Jen for the second time 3 weeks ago. My daughter's hair is naturally long and straight but thick and with volume. Prior to the wedding, my daughter showed Jen a picture of how she wanted her hair done. As a result, my daughter got a layered trim, got a wavy style and a curtain bangs. The result was fantastic! Her hair looks springy, layered and wavy. She was so happy she couldn't wait to show her older sister. See pictures. In addition, Jen's hospitality and customer service were just as fantastic as her work. The facility is clean and cozy in a quiet Hercules neighborhood by Powder Keg. Overall, both my wife and daughter were please with 4 visits and 4 fantastic results. Jen truly knows her craft. I'm just as happy to have these 2 ladies looked fabulous and gorgeous on the wedding day! And we all thank you Jen! Jen definitely added two more regular customers! Will you be next? Until next hair day! read more

Huge fan of Primorosa Salon! I've had two amazing experiences with Stephany & Danny with the assistance of Cynthia. Stephany helped me start my transition off of balayage (just needed a change, and I wanted to get something closer to my natural hair color). She gave me a perfect toner and haircut. I was finally ready to do something more permanent, and Danny did my full dimensional color to a mocha brown. I am SO happy with the way it turned out! He was incredibly helpful with all my questions, and I can't wait to go back to the crew for my touch ups. If you are in search of a new salon, I highly recommend Primorosa read more

Hello, I wanted to take a second to update this review. Stephany did reach out to us to try & reconcile, but unfortunately her interpretation of our experiences was not very clear, not any good reason why this all occurred, so we will not be returning. Looking back on Yelp, the only negative reviews Stephany has is unable to be reached, and hair fading...made us feel rather justified in our decision! With all that aside, Stephany & Danny are very sweet & I encourage all to try this shop & create your own relationship, everyone is different & I hope this will encourage some new guidelines to prevent any further issues! This is a very clean attractive shop in a great area, give it a try!! read more

Where do I even begin, I've been going to Eyerim for 10 years at this point and I come back every single time because she's very educated in her technique and knows the results I'm typically going for. If I tell her I'm going more blonde she knows what we are getting into lol and she does not disappoint! She is always so sweet and I love our conversations and our quiet time when I can't hear her over the blow dryer (lol). I also want to shoutout Danny because he is amazing, too! Call it picky, but I only let them touch my hair because I know the results are going to be amaaazing and both of their attention to detail is unmatched. Danny... where do I even start? I first crossed paths with this absolute gem of a stylist during a haircut appointment with Geraldine at the Point Richmond location, and he came highly recommended by a former employee, Danielle. I had a very specific look in mind--a rich wine-red hair color--but I was worried about the damage that comes with bleaching. Danny worked his magic and achieved the shade I was hoping for with minimal use of bleach/developer. Not only was he incredibly skilled and detail-oriented, but he also took the time to ensure every aspect of my color was flawless. Danny's charismatic and professional demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable and relaxing. My hair now feels so healthy, looks vibrant, and I can't stop getting compliments! He also recommended the best products to help me maintain this look, and for that, I'm beyond grateful. Thank you, Danny--you brought my hair vision to life! The location is a bit confusing because the exact address leads to someone's home so just be careful with that. There is street parking so plan accordingly for your appointment. read more

Danny always works his magic, and Fernanda gave me a gorgeous haircut! About a year ago, I had my hair dyed by Danny, and this time, I made a last-minute decision to book another appointment. Luckily, the salon had availability the very next day. I asked for a reddish-brown balayage, but when my hair wasn't grabbing the intensity of the color, Danny and Fernanda went the extra mile to adjust it until it was perfect. This was my first time with Fernanda, and my haircut turned out stunning. I had about 2.5 to 3 inches trimmed, and my hair now looks and feels amazing! read more
