I went to Georgetown Seafood for the first time as a tryout and I will definitely be back. The lobster roll literally melted in my mouth and was so fresh and flavorful. The hush puppies were amazing and the sauce with them was so good. The potato salad was delicious too, just a very small portion. I live over 50 minutes away and my food still didn't last the car ride home I'm so glad I randomly decided to stop and order carry out. Honestly already thinking about going back tomorrow.

Good spot for grab and go seafood with some outdoor seating. The lobster roll was good but when I order a warm roll I expect it to be warm throughout, the middle was cold & could've used some more seasoning. The hush puppies and sauce were really delicious I'd definitely get those again. The clam chowder was ok nothing to write home about.

Another gem which I'm ecstatic to have finally visited! First, shoutout to the incredible staff!!!! Everyone was super helpful and pleasant, hospitality at its finest. However, shoutout to our waitress, Doris-she was the kindest. Seating: there is a few seating both upstairs and downstairs, with more seating outside. However, because this place is super popular you can expect each seat to be filled. Quality: I wasn't too fond of the fishy scent upon arrival but it's a seafood spot and one which provides the freshest and most delicious seafood I've had in a longggggggggg time. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese with a side of hush puppies and my boyfriend ordered a lobster roll. Hush puppies- the BEST I've had in quite some time. They were freshly made, crispy, and mixed with some honey for an added sweetness. Lobster grilled cheese sandwich: O-M-G! I'm still recovering from the amazing flavor profile in this sandwich. For starters, the Maine lobster serving was quite generous and it was fresh and buttery. The sourdough bread was beyond delicious, perfectly crisp around the edges, soft on the inside, with savory cheese oozing through the holes. The sandwich also contained sautéed spinach and tomato, making this sandwich my favorite of all time-no exaggeration! My boyfriend absolutely loved his lobster roll and from the pictures, you can once again see how generous they were with serving up those fresh lobster pieces. We ended up ordering another round of hush puppies because there was no way that we would leave without indulging in more of it. LOL I cannot wait to return again.

If you are craving a lobster roll you have found the place to go. This roll was absolutely delicious and packed full of lobster. They really didn't skimp out! I'll be dreaming of this for days!! Also ordered the lobster bisque and it was just as good The service was also great! We were greeted with big smiles and welcoming words.

I've heard great things about Georgetown Seafood so I was excited to try! It's a great place with amazing workers and delicious food! I had a yummy lobster roll with French fries. Everything was warm and I enjoyed a day outside. I will easily be back whenever I'm craving fresh and good quality seafood.

I heard great things about Georgetown Seafood, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The location is fantastic, but be prepared for a challenge with parking on weekends; it took me a little extra time to find a spot. The decor has a charming New England feel. The staff were efficient and friendly, making the experience even better. We indulged in the lobster grilled cheese with hush puppies and a chilled lobster roll. Both were absolutely delicious, and the hush puppies were so good we had to order a second round. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a worth a visit.

After soaking in the views of the waterfront by Georgetown waterfront park, this spot was a short walk uphill and the place I had bookmarked for lunch. I ordered the crabcake and lobster bisque for dine in. The cashier even asked me if I wanted them to serve the dishes together which was really attentive of them. I found some seating on the second floor and the staff even brought the food up to me! I know I came for the seafood but was absolutely blown away by the five star service! The staff were super king and kept asking if we needed anything the entire time we were dining in. They also proactively brought cups of water and utensils as well as an extra basket for my brother so that we could share the order. Once others are finished eating, the staff were super quick to clear and clean the tables. This is the service that all five stars or those $$$ restaurants should aspire for honestly. The crab cake was pretty decent and good for the given price. Not the best I've ever had though. The lobster bisque was also pretty good and stirring the soup seemed to enhance the seafood flavor. It was a very creamy and filling soup. Bathroom was immaculately clean and had no smell. 10 out of 10 would recommend visiting this spot if in the area!

I immediately was greeted with a very nice smile and welcome when I arrived. It was around 3:20pm on a Tuesday so it wasn't super busy. I planned on visiting on off hours as I read from other Yelper's its small and you may have to sit outside. No way, not today. People were seated upstairs. I chose to have the downstairs to myself. I already knew what I wanted. I ordered the single crab cake, hush puppies, and potato salad. I will come back to try the Lobster roll. Today was a crabcake day. They were very nice and let me sample the coleslaw and the potato salad. They immediately got me a cup of ice water while I ordering my food because it was hot. The staff went above and beyond and you can tell the Manager, Ny, leads by example. She was training and she was awesome. The food was hot and fresh. I didn't have to add hot sauce or black pepper to anything. It was good and properly seasoned.

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 My husband and I stumbled into this place and it was delicious. The Mayo lobster roll is not to be missed. The service was also excellent they made sure they touched every table and held the door for every guest. It didn't go unnoticed.

I wish I knew about this place sooner. It was soooo good. It's a small restaurant with some outdoor seating. You might have to take the food to go if there's not enough room. The service was good. The staff knows they're popular so they're very efficient. The food was really delicious. The lobster was flavorful. The fried were perfectly crispy. I can't wait to come back.

It's a lovely thing to wander through before heading in to eat just a few feet away. The setting itself doesn't feel like Washington at all. With the charming little patio and relaxed vibe, you could imagine you're in another country, and it strikes a wonderful balance between easygoing and sophisticated. Little touches go a long way for me, and they nailed them here: silverware with the lovely illusion of polished silver and elevated stemware that added an extra bit of vibe to the whole experience. The staff were wonderfully accommodating from the start: everything was still soaked from the heavy rain the night before, but they went out of their way to set us up in a lovely shaded spot so we'd stay cool and comfortable. That same care showed up in a much bigger way later, when one of our party passed out from a health issue unrelated to the meal, and the team handled it with calm, attentiveness, and real heart. Now, the food. The brunch menu hits all the classics, chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict with fun variations featuring crab and smoked fish, all the good stuff. I settled on the lobster roll, which was incredibly good, served with Old Bay fries that came out perfectly hot and crisp, exactly the way fries should always arrive, with ketchup on the side. We also tried the tuna tartare and the buffalo oysters, which were a blast: fried oysters with a blue cheese dressing and hot sauce, served in the cutest presentation in shells on smooth lake pebbles. On the drinks side, I had a "Bloody Margaret," a gin-based riff on a Bloody Mary, and it was wonderfully spicy, just the way I like it. The cocktail list overall is playful and worth exploring. Oysters are clearly one of their fortes. They focus on Virginia oysters, so it's a single variety, but they do a lot with it across a range of preparations. There's also a fun Virginia peanut-centric theme running through the menu.

It is pricey, lucky for me it was my birthday and I could simply enjoy myself. My cocktail was exquisite, forgot what it was called but reminded me of a pina colada, but not as thick. The flavor and the freshness of the Whole fried fish, with fragrant herbs, tamarind and lime dressing was good. The Parker House Rolls were fluffy, but nothing I would put on the highly recommended list. Our waiter was very kind and personable. Other than that, I'm not sure if I would come back. Most people enjoy Caribbean style restaurants that master various fish for a fraction of the price and more food. While the "more food part" may be considered low- brow, I'm sure I am saying what many are thinking.

Each of these sorts of restaurants has a place in the spectrum. Our waiter - Keith or Kevin - I'm so sorry but I cannot remember his name - was GREAT! Funny, good at his job, great personality and helpful. He started out with a corny, but cute, joke and he kept getting better all night. The manager too was quite good, professional and friendly. I was there during brunch service and found a menu that covered a lot of bases. My main interest was seeing if they still offered fried clam bellies, a rarity in the D.C. restaurant scene. Nope, no bellies, but on offer under the brunch appetizers were Stuffies (three baked top neck clams, smoked linguica, lemon, breadcrumbs, house hot sauce, $13), along with more traditional starters, including clam chowder ($7 cup, $12 bowl), fried calamari (roasted garlic pomodoro sauce, fried cherry peppers & artichoke, lemon, $15). I ended up ordering the North Shore Roast Beef sandwich (horseradish cream, BBQ sauce, American cheese, onion roll, with fries, $19). More than enough for brunch and lunch the following day. Service was good, and the meal was excellent. Note the Salt Line's transparency, where it explains that "DC restaurants have been operating with dynamic and significant increases in labor wages, food costs, and the general cost of doing business in DC. We have chosen to implement a 4% operational surcharge - which does not go towards gratuity - as the most comprehensive way to address this." Seems to me to strike a decent balance, but I'm not all that up to date about the living wage issue in the services industry. In any event I respect The Salt Line's management for being up front about their surcharge policy.

I saw a random post on social media earlier in the week and it's been stuck in my head ever since. It was LOUD, And PACKED. MAKE THE RESERVATION!!!!! I saw people get turned away bc they just pulled up. I made a nice reservation for 1 and it was great. I sat outside. They have $1.25 oysters during happy hour so of course it's gonna be a crazy time. And on Friday! Well, duh. It was perfect. My server was the besttttt. I was sat outside so when it started raining I did decide to get up and move seats... I know the restaurant has a process but I wasn't gonna wait for them to get to me bc they were busy.
