Crispy Cajun Catfish and Chips, Craft Cocktails and Wedge Salad.
Judith D.

A delicious lunch amid the pines today at the Georgetown Distillery and Restaurant. The crispy Cajun-style catfish with homemade chips and house-made gin tartar sauce was outstanding...the best tartar sauce I've tasted. The balsamic bleu-cheese wedge salad was unbelievably delicious and more than enough for two. We complemented our meal with the distillery's Passion-fruit Vodka Sour and Bloody Mary with pickle-infused vodka. The food and spirits here are perfect, as is GM Tanya, who always treats us like royalty!

Flight of drinks

Visited this place while driving around and exploring NoCal and glad we did. The place has a very friendly staff with good drinks and cool spirts like pickle infused vodka and pineapple infused gin. The place and ambience was very nice and had a local hometown bar feel to it. If you are in the area or driving by, this is a very cool little place to stop and grab a bite or a drink or both. Very cool place to visit with a great staff and good drinks

The hubby had stopped here several times on his motorcycle and wanted to take me for Mother's Day. The drinks were AMAZING, the staff was so friendly, and the local customers were fun to hang out with. I am only sad we had already eaten... I guess it's an excuse to go back!

Crispy chicken strip sammich with home sliced chips and a wedge salad
Eric S.

This was a pretty neat little place. I don't drink and can't comment on the quality of drinks, but I eat. The sammich wasn't spectacular, however it was not bad. A run of the mill chicken strip sammich with Frank's on a brioche bun. They didn't mess it up. The chips are home sliced and prepared and were very good!! The wedge salad was pretty good, I'm certain it was whatever was in the dressing. But wedge salads typically don't impress me much... We sat outside and it was a very nicely covered patio. Service was good as well and friendly. If you're going for the food I'm sure there are better options. I suspect as their name indicates, they're a much better distillery than a restaurant.

Fun night

Let me tell you the food and the drinks are the best in Sacramento. If you are looking for a steak, seek elsewhere. This place is a God Sent. Briant AKA. baller from the hill

Well worth the detour into the hills for this place! We've come here several times now, and the only complaint is that they've already outgrown their location in popularity. More seating is definitely needed. But, beyond that their cocktails are top notch and i personally love getting the flight each time

We came in and sat down right away took a few minutes for the staff to notice us and check on us/ bring us water. After about 15 minutes we got to order. I got the crispy chicken sandwich with the homemade potato chips (15.75). My husband got the daily special, the clam chowder bowl (14). It took a solid 45 minutes for our food to come out. The chicken was decent and the chips were good. My husband said the clam chowder was incredibly salty and lacked many actual clams. Though the restaurant had plenty of patrons, the menu is fairly small and straight forward, it seemed like everyone in the whole restaurant received food at different times than who they were sitting with. They only had 3 domestic beers. We didn't order any whiskey so we cannot judge that at all, but others around us seemed to enjoy the drinks.

A delicious lunch. Brisket Plate with bacon mac and cheese…read moreand sidewinder fries. Mrs had the crispy chicken sando with a side salad. Brisket was thin a tad dry, but super flavorful with a light smoke and fall apart super tender. Sidewinder fries are like steak & curly fries combined, seasoned well & cooked perfectly. Mac & cheese had Velveeta like consistency plenty of crispy bacon,bomb... Crispy chicken sando has caramelized onions, shrooms, cheese super messy and delicious. Fresh salad $2.50 upcharge was crunchy with a good mix and a homemade ranch dressing. House Hot bbq sauce was perfect with the meat. Kinda lodge like interior motif, with some cool custom made solid wood/steel braced dining tables. Service was a little slow, but it's Mom's day. I'm coming back for more..

Overview: kind staff. Nice looking place but the chairs, tables etc were not especially comfortable…read morefor a person my size. Beautiful plating. Lovely bathroom. Easy parking. Not pictured is the bacon Mac & cheese as an appetizer: AMAZING! Shared with 6 people, every bite was a taste of cheesy, bacon pasta; exactly as described! Seasoned sidewinder fries are worth any upgrade. If they're not an up charge, they should be. They're great! The fish tacos were okay but they were not what I had in mind. I'd recommend a side salad add on if you're looking for something fresh; no fresh pico de gallo, not a lot of cabbage or radishes.. Cheeseburger was pretty good. Their menu isn't very large but it is varied. Their menu changes because their desserts and their soups are listed. Don't count on it but the desserts we had (brownie Sundae, rum cake, and lemon cheesecake) were all very nice.
