Everyone there is extremely nice and I'm grateful to the staff for doing everything they can to help me, they're awesome! The only reason why I didn't give a 5 star review was because when I picked up my car the bumper, which was the reason why I brought the car in, wasn't put on correctly and I live two cities away which means I have to come back and either leave it there or wait on it....both are extremely inconvenient for me since I own my own business. All in all, I really like the people working there. They really do make a huge difference, especially Dolly. I don't know how that place would function without her. I feel like I am giving this review a little too soon. I have only three days to give the review until I get charged by the body shop, for not giving a review. I will send an update once all is resolved. I was in a hit and run. I wasn't prepared to have to pay a deductible to get my car fixed. This body shop was running a deal to waive my deductible; so I chose Georgetown Collision, for that reason. The reviews were good so I didn't hesitate much. After having my car, for nearly a month (short a couple of days and for pretty minor damages) I went to pick up my car. All looked well with a couple of questions on my side (I'm not sure about one of the places of paint damage that I think is from a part they replaced/fixed). I asked about it and was told that the insurance company didn't approve that to be fixed. I'll look in to that later. While inspecting my car, I found that my back seats were put down and a large front panel of my car was laying on top. First, why were my back seats put down? Second, why was a piece of my damaged car laying there? Once I mentioned it, a member of the team came to remove it and apologized. I'm left to question why my back seats were left down since the damage was only at the front of the car. In the accident, my passenger side mirror was pushed in and scratched. It was replaced. Once I was on the road, I noticed that the mirror was misdirected and went to adjust it. Doh! It won't adjust! My left side will but the right side won't (the side that they fixed). I called them right away to report this issue. Unfortunately, I was rushing to a class and couldn't turn back around to have it looked at as they had requested. Now, I will have to take off of work, again, to get this fixed. Not only that...it may take time in which I have to be out of my car, again, and in to a rental car. I wish they would have tested everything before giving my car back to me. Perhaps they would have noticed the large front panel of my car in my backseat? Here is a nice perk...they semi-detail the inside of your car! Yay! I loved that! My car was a mess. It was not super well done, as if I had paid someone, but the dash was wiped down. After an accident I brought my sons' car in for repair. It did take longer than expected and I was reimbursed by the company for any overage the insurance would not cover, for that I am pleased. The work on the vehicle was excellent. The car looked as if it had not been in any sort of accident and the door window works again. Pros - thorough job done on the vehicle. It came back detailed with flawless paint match. Additionally, they will waive your deductible which is very nice and they calibrated the electrical to help with a non related reverse-camera issue while we waited and we appreciated that as well. Cons - less than adequate follow up. We dropped the car off on Wednesday 3/6. We were told it would be finished on 3/22 so just a little over 2 weeks... it was then pushed back to 3/29... we didn't actually get it until 4/1 and the windshield had not been replaced as ordered. They did let us take the car and had someone come replace the windshield the next day. We mainly just felt the delays were very inconvenient. read more

My car literally sat in their lot the entire summe... I was informed 4-8 wks. When I was called to pickup my vehicle it still wasn't right. They had me take my vehicle and return to repaint. Bumper was worst than the first time. Had to leave vehicle there longer and which I'm still not satisfie. paint doesn't even match! I'm so disappointed and wished I'd never selected this shop. I specifically asked them not to wash my car and they did anyways and put cheap stinky air fresheners in my ride. My ride car is kept immaculate. If you're a car person I would find another shop. Working together they took care of all my issues on my two claims I had. Usually I have lots of trouble with other repair shops, but they really took care of us and got the job done right. I'm usually hesitant about trying new places, who isn't? Not the best at adulting but the ladies at the front were happy to answer all my questions and help me with my my insurance. I have it but I rarely deal with it (first deer accident). They were all very helpful overall great staff. I dropped my truck off the second week in November and received it two weeks later. Nobody answers the phone when I call him when I called one time Dolly answered and said she would call me back that afternoon. That was a week ago Wednesday. I call every day and nobody answers. I leave messages on the machine and nobody calls me back. Georgetown Collision did a great job. I recently scheduled work on my vehicle that were from (2) two different claims, and (2) two different insurance companies. They handled everything !. I received my car back - one week early. The work looks great and I appreciated the communication and updates throughout the process. I hopefully will not be in a situation where I am in need of any auto body work in the future, but if I am, I will return back to Georgetown Collision for my repairs. read more

After hearing all the commercials on the radio, "WE WILL WAIVE YOUR DEDUCTIBLE", I didnt know any better and had my trucked towed there. First thing they do, is have you sign documents, I thought they would be just generic docs, but didnt realize that I signed: that payments from my Insurance company written in both names (mine and theirs) they now can be cashed without your permision, signature or knowledge. (so they get paid for the work, parts, and labor up front....then they complete the work when it suits them) my truck went in March 20st, came out June 8th, 2020. (80 days in the shop). Another clause in the documents is the "waive your $500.00 deductible" well that only happens if you give them a good review! They literally would not give me my truck back until I wrote a good review. (of course I'm editing it now to the truth) I would call, and ask how my truck is doing, Hannah would say, we are working on it, we sent the wheel out, and we are doing the calibration, I drove up there later that day, my truck hadnt moved since day one, wheel was still on the vehicule. Then I got another adviser, (Danny)he would say, ready this Friday, three weeks later, it is still not completed, it's always a "wrong part issue", and he says; he is the parts manager! Their excuses were overwhelming, it's incompetence on their part for not ordering the right part? but it is always someone elses fault, and they didnt notice it until last minute. My truck finally came home, it had bondo on the dash, it has 3 new scratches that werent there, probably just sitting their parking lot for 3 months. When I spoke to my advisors at the Insurance company, they admitted that they have already had tons of horrible experiences with Georgetown Collision, and they are most definetely not on the recommended list. Please call your insurance companies and ask for someone on that list. Never pay all up front for services, you'll be at their mercy like I was. 80 days is not acceptable, 70 days is out of the ordinary, 60 days is more time then the usual, the average collision place is 30 days. My truck has been at Georgetown Collision since July 6th, 2021. They have not communicated with me except once, when I called and demanded someone call be back (last week). Ladies in the office are helpful when you are at the location, but to get anyone to answer the phone to assist is impossible. Severely lacking in communication to the customer and customer service as a whole. read more

They called and said my vehicle was ready to pick up. When I arrived, I noticed a few things that needed attention. They ordered the parts, and call me when they came in. Don't be suckered by their "We will waive your insurance deductible" claim - You'll feel like you signed a deal with the devil. Their slogan is incomplete. It should continue with: " ... and leave you feeling like you'll NEVER see your vehicle again" They'll get straight to work on the vehicle alright ... just enough to where your vehicle can't be relocated. They'll have you sign an agreement of sorts, so they can cash the money the insurance company sends ... and now your vehicle truly is being held hostage. They've been paid and have absolutely no incentive or motivation to do any work. With this experience, they've lied to me about having done work on my vehicle, but when I've shown up, I discover it hasn't been touched since the last time. This week I was told they are working on it, and when I later called in, they state they are waiting for parts. 2 months in ... and they're waiting on parts. Delay, after delay, after delay. So yes, to date my vehicle has been with Georgetown Collision for over 2 months. Given the number of vehicles parked on their lot, maybe this should not have come as a surprise. Needless to say I've had to arrange alternative transportation, because insurance only covers 30 days rental. No idea when I am to expect my vehicle back, and I am dreading in what state it'll be. All I know is, my confidence in this outfit is shot. This has been, and continues to be, extremely stressful for me. These are NOT good people!! I just want my vehicle back! read more

The work done on my vehicle looks great after I finally got it back. Time will tell, but as of now, you cannot tell that there was ever any damage done to it. I also appreciate that it was fixed with OEM and not aftermarket parts. The time taken to make the repair and the lack of communication were enough to bring my review down two stars. My vehicle was in the shop roughly 30 days over what the insurance company states as the normal/expected amount of time. I had to rent another vehicle in the meantime, of which I was partially reimbursed. Not one time was I contacted in regards about the delays. Georgetown Collision has an app that sends out "updates." When I called about arranging pick on the date supplied by the app, I was told that my vehicle was actually not ready and could take another 10 days. I had reservations for a trip with my travel trailer that I had to cancel because this vehicle is used to tow my trailer. It still wasn't ready on the 10th day. The overall quality of the work appears top notch, but the time it took to repair and the lack of communication were extremely frustrating. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! We had hail damage to two of our cars and decided to take our cars here for repair. The first car got in and was waiting on parts. It took 4 times as long as it should to get the car fixed because they were inefficient at ordering parts. The second car, they got the check from the insurance company to begin the repairs. Once they started, they raised the cost of the repairs to total out the vehicle. Once this was done, they returned the car without repairing it and they have not refunded the original costs that the insurance sent. Basically they ripped me off of over $5000. read more

I got my car in good condition, they fixed the main problem (a dent that a deer had made in my back door) but it took over a month for me to get my car back. For the amount of work done, it seemed like it should have taken less time. Also, I had noticed that there were a row of small scratches on the side of my car that hadn't been there before we had taken it in. Overall decent job. This is a MUST if you need any repair body work on your car! I recently bought a car with some hail damage and looked everywhere for a quote, only to be turned away. Just when I thought all hope was lost, the owner, Michael, emailed me back and said he would be happy to give me a free quote. I brought my car in to him that next week and sat down with him to go over the details (the office staff was very helpful and professional). I was paying out of pocket and he said that was one of the reasons I keep getting turned away. He said he would be happy to work with me and the budget I gave him. My car was in his shop the next week and done 2 weeks later (the damage was pretty bad). He gave me a great deal and the car looks INCREDIBLE! I was rear-end late in September and ended up taking my brand new car to Georgetown Collision. The experience started out fine and then I received phone calls and text messages from Ashley. When I called her back she was extremely rude and disrespectful. She was looking for the check from the insurance company and wanted to know why I hadn't given it to them yet. I didn't even realize that I had the check and wanted to know why it was so urgent that I bring her the check. She then referred to the paperwork that I had signed regarding waiving the deductible and that I was supposed to turn the check over to them. I told her I didn't recall that from all the paperwork I had signed, and unaware that I needed to sign the check over to them before they even complete the work on the vehicle. She then went into a rant about why didn't I remember what the paperwork said about turning over the deductible and that they needed the check so they could order the parts for my car and pay their employees. WHAT! There were some other issues regarding my bumper and a piece that is STILL MISSING, and them overcharging me for my deductible (which I ended up paying because I wasn't going to give them the check without them finishing the work). I then contacted Scott, the owner, because I noticed that the exhaust pipe on my car was pushed back and not even with the other side, I also told him about them overcharging me, and to see if they had received the part for my car. He said they were expecting some parts and that maybe mine would be there. He said to email him about the overcharge. I sent him an email on 10/5 and just sent him another one because I have not received my refund for being overcharged, and still no update on the part for my bumper. They had my car for almost 30 days, overcharged me, and I am still missing parts that I have paid for. I would never recommend this company to anyone I know. I brought my car to them after hearing thier radio ad to waive your deductible. They say they use only factory parts and do great work. When I picked up my car the windshield had not been replaced as discussed as part of the repair. A week later the company who was supposed to contact me to do the repair has still not phoned me. Two pieces of roof trim were missing at pick up and were pointed out. They said they would order them and phone me in the next day or two when they came in. A week later still nothing and when I called today they said the parts would be in in a week or 2. I was going to get my bumper adjusted when the parts came in because it was put on too tight. Also the tire pressure sensors were not reset have had a warning on for a week. This I was going to have done when the roof parts came in. As of this point I can not say I would recommend them to my friends or family. read more

Then what is really telling are the responses from the "owner". I was accused of being drunk. Other were told they need professional mental help. They outright lied in an effort to deflect the truth. Also, read how many times they fire people..unhappy employees tell a lot about the culture. If you are OK with them holding your car hostage and not returning your calls...this is your place. Ugh, I knew it was too good to be true. I originally went with this place because of hearing about all the adds on the radio about how they do not use aftermarket parts and will "waive your deductible" so I went and got an estimate. Red flags went off when they quoted for over 8k for a fender bender.. I have been in fender benders and bigger accidents in the past and have never ever had a bill so big, being that my car was already there I decided just to go with it. They said they only waive $500 of the deductible (ok? Why do you say on the radio that you will waive a deductible then?) but also say sometimes if the job is big enough - they will waive all of it.. and told me yours looks like it's big enough to get it waived entirely and told me not to worry (fine). I get my rental, and go about our lives.. getting updates through emails here and there. Saying the vehicle will be ready for pick up sept 27th.. cutting it close for my rental which only is covered for 30 days (dropped it off aug 28th).. then a day before I got an email stating it wouldn't be ready until the 5th of October.. I'm pretty annoyed at this point because I had a planned trip out of state the 30th and needed my vehicle.. so I called, asked what was wrong and they said it was an insurance delay??? Uhhhhh... ok.... so I call my insurance - got the run around from them like any insurance company, called the collision center back, no answer - left a voice mail.. never got a call back by the "end of the business day" like stated. Next thing I know I have my insurance calling me telling me my rental isn't covered any longer and I'm not able to get ahold of ANYONE at the collision center.. I'm not kidding - I tried calling FIVE TIMES... each call on its own day.. finally once I get home I have to PHYSICALLY drive up there just to get some information.. again, my "ready by date" was pushed up to the 10th.. So we get there, and no one knows what the hell is going on.. it's a mad house.. communication is non existent.. finally, someone tells us parts are on back order.. what?? First, the contract I signed stated work doesn't get sent to production until all parts are in, second, we never got updated on ANY OF THIS. So now, we are having to pay out of pocket for a car rental.. and no one knows when this "headlight" is coming in.. they said they would call us back by noon and have an answer for us.. smh Finally, got a call stating they would cover $25 a day for a rental (very nice of them and appreciated 100%) as well as waive our deductible (995).. again, thanks - even though I was originally told that it would be waived. Finally get regularly updated after what felt like having to pull teethe.. vehicle was ready by the 12th.. or 13th (can't remember exact date).. my husband picks it up.. he said it looked like a good job.. great! Only - not.. I look over the receipt and paperwork.. holy hell! What did they do? Why did I even need my side mirrors replace??!! But wait - there's more.. Totally not the right drivers side mirror definitely aftermarket crap.. because it's a completely different mirror.. AND it doesn't adjust anymore (the electric component doesn't work for that side) literally there was absolutely nothing wrong with that when I brought it... like I said.. fender bender.. my guess is maybe they hit it? Broke the original one? Idk but it doesn't work.. Then I notice dried impala paint on my brand new leather 2018 impala steering wheel.. super frustrating and annoying.. lord that made me mad.. like Jesus it's a brand new car that I worked my butt off for.. its frustrating enough it was in a fender bender.. Received the car after 35 days, not to my satisfaction at all ......... things billed for were not done and yes over billed as well. Lifetime warranty is a joke as I will never go back .. Great company. Only minor complaints on the organization and communication. There is absolutely no communication except the update emails. I tried calling, never got a call back. Tried finding the app the automated line spoke of, never found it. I even tried emailing, and got an email failure notice. BUT these guys did an amazing job. My car looks brand new. The best part was they detailed my car. They knocked 500 off my deductible too! The lady at the front desk was also nice. The car took a total of 5 weeks but with business days it was about 30. The owner decided to put cheap road hugger brand tires instead of the Goodyear brand that were written in the contract because discount tire didn't have them in stock. I would say that my experience with Georgetown Collision was mostly positive. I did have some hesitancy with dropping off my car because the front office seemed unorganized. I did not appreciate Dolly pushing me to use Hertz Car Rental because that was a messy situation and I don't feel that it is any of their concern of what car rental company you use. My car was done 1 day prior to the due date and I do appreciate that. I personally don't like the new system they have in place to get a status update of your repair. When customers call for an update, they want to speak to a live person, not leave a voicemail or send an email. I was in luck because my insurance adjuster stayed in contact with them and was able to give me updates. I met the owner, Scott when I picked up my car and he was very personable and down to earth. We are happy with the repairs to our vehicle and the time it took. read more

I heard about G-town collision on KLBJ radio advertising that they would waive my deductible just for mentioning I heard about them on the radio. They waived it as stated but what they don't mention is you must give them at least 2 favorable reviews within so many days of picking up your vehicle or you have to pay for the deductible. I believe in starting with the positives, so the repairs that were done to my car looked good and makes it look like new. It's the process and the lack of communication that ruined my experience. The only thing damaged on my car was my front bumper and part of the surrounding area. The total estimate was $780 so not an involved repair. During this time I had a rental from my insurance. First of all, they had my car 8 days without touching it because they were waiting on a check from my insurance. This was not communicated to me either during my initial phone conversation or when we dropped the car off. That way when I received the funds I could've expedited getting those funds to them. It wasn't until I called to check on the car ghat I found this out. Secondly, there was poor communication between G-town and my ins company and with me alike. They state in their own policies that if there's a problem with the rental company to let them know and they would take care of it. Well, it took them 22 days to finish these repairs and my insurance stopped paying for the rental. This is because my insurance wasn't getting any response when requesting status updates on why it was taking so long to get the repairs done. I asked on 2 separate occasions to send updates to the insurance and to contact Enterprise rental so there wouldn't be issues with the rental. Well, when I took the rental back, I got stuck with a $600 rental car bill that I'm having to take my time trying to fight to get it reimbursed. So damn frustrating. Unbeknownst Finally, I know better not to leave any valuables in the car when getting work done. However, unbeknownst to me, my gf had left about a dozen $1 coins in the ash tray that are now all missing. As I said it's my own fault but is still disappointing to find that someone had stolen them. So, it just was not a good experience for me. I fully expect to get a bill for my deductible but I figured you all would want an actual and honest review instead of something made up to save a few bucks. read more

I got referred to Georgetown Collision by my parents. All-in-all I'd say my experience was good. There were a few hiccups on ordering parts and things coming in broken, but I appreciate that they inspected everything before putting it on my vehicle. There was also a few pushback of scheduled pick up appointments that lasted about 2 weeks. Dolly and the staff were great and did a good job answering any questions, concerns or frustrations that I had throughout the process. I mashed my passenger door in my work garage. Didn't bother to get it fixed as I was in the middle of conference prep and a job change. Strangers kept approaching me to "fix it cheap". This one dark morning a man at a gas station said "I'm not offering anything but information, if you want to get that fixed PROPERLY, take it to Georgetown Collision. They will do a great job." I wrote it down and it sat in my car for months. I finally acted on it. The staff was SUPER on the phone, they were super in person when I first went in for what I thought would be an estimate. They helped me with my insurance and they have a Hertz satellite location on premise. I got automated updates via email and initially I was going to have to wait until early January 2020 for my car. Then I got both an email AND a phone call letting me know my car would be ready to pick up on Monday Dec 23! They also offered to pay any overages for clients who had gone over their insurance limit on rental cars. I chose not to do that, as I believe it is not a collision center's responsibility to cover rental cars. But it is certainly worth noting that they wanted to help clients out. Also, there was a bit of a backup with all the pickups happening, as they were getting details. I was told I could bring the car back for a "better" detailing after the holidays, but to me, the car looked GREAT inside and out! I'm moving to Florida in a few months, but I would definitely go back to Georgetown Collision if I had to. read more

I have been to several collision repair shops in my day and I MUST say that Fullerton has just set the bar extremely high! Their staff were some of the most helpful and courteous people I've ever worked with bar none. They are pretty far north but I assure you it's worth the drive; but if it's too far, they will even come get you and bring you back - just one example of their customer service approach. I hope you never need a body repair shop but if you ever do - I highly recommend Fullerton as they are the best in the business! read more

I woke up one day with a massive dent and a shattered window on the driver door of my vehicle that insurance determined to be vandalism resulting in a $500 deductible. I heard on the radio that Georgetown Collision would waive the deductible. When I brought my vehicle to Georgetown Collision I spoke with Dolly who was very thorough in reviewing paperwork with me. She also was up front about how busy of a shop they are and that my vehicle would be in the shop for at least 30 days and potentially longer due holiday closures. I got several updates on my car via email keeping me informed on when my car would be ready. I had to move out of state and start a new job and knew going into that my car would potentially not be ready before I had to leave. Unfortunately this is what happened and did not cause any major issues for me. Georgetown communicated well and was flexible with me finding someone to pick up my vehicle for me. I took my vehicle to Georgetown Collision based on seeing an advertisement on KVUE and their willingness to waive my deductible. I carry a $1,000 deductible and looked for any "fine print" on the internet that indicted there was a limit. Both their advertisements and the internet did not disclose any limits. Upon arrival, I found out there is a $500 limit on the deductible waiver. I think this should be disclosed somewhere. Quality of repairs was good and people I interacted with were friendly. They made efforts to return phone calls by end of the business day and truly were striving for good customer service. To me this appears to be a growing shop. The communication could be better as I had to initiate all communication. The contract referenced use of an email system for updates; however, I received no emails. I expected the repair to take about 30 days, which is what it did. However, I was told on two separate occasions my vehicle would be ready, and it was not completed as promised. Initially, I was told it would be ready on a Monday, the previous Friday. Then, on that Monday, it would be ready Tuesday. I was out of town and had my wife adjust her schedule each day only to be told it was not yet ready. I understand part delays and other factors; however, here it was so near to the end I think they should have cautioned there could be a delay, but each time they presented a very confident message the vehicle would be done. read more
