The communication was outstanding from start to finish. I always knew what was going on, and the work was completed in a timely manner without cutting corners. The final result exceeded my expectations--the truck looks great. When I finally met Garren I had that feeling that he was someone who loved his craft and he gave me a very reasonable quote. My car is a 25 year old Mercedes and he, unlike other shops, agreed with me to use the same body panel and repair it rather than using a cheapo non OEM panel. I also had bad clear coat on my hood, so I asked him to paint it as well on my dime. The car looks incredible! He also did a little touch up on some chipped paint and polished my headlights. Took my car in for an insurance repair that was covered after taking a hit from another driver…read more Initially, the process was smooth and efficient but they could not get two basic things right after repeated tries. 1) Adhering a trunk spoiler on correctly. 2) Identifying and fixing a rattle that was created from the collision. I brought the car back numerous times, but they simply could not figure out this basic stuff - that's their job right? Repairing vehicles to spec and get paid handsomely by insurance providers is what they do. After the the third follow up visit and time out of my life to coordinate getting to and from work without a car, I was told by the rep who was handling my repair that the rattle had been identified and fixed (it hadn't) and that the spoiler issue was in spec and that his manager said they couldn't do any better. I was disappointed enough to follow up twice, and left the manager two messages through their front desk employees, with promises that I would receive a call back. No follow up and my issues still exist. BTW, the front desk customer service employees at this location are great - responsive and professional. The manager, not so much.

BEWARE! Something really bizzare happened at Allioto's today. When we came to pick up our car from…read morerepairs we were told to pay the balance for an additional fender damage not covered by the insurance provider. When we asked to check the work done first they claimed that both fenders (front and back) were damaged so they went ahead and fixed both. The only thing - we only had the rear fender damaged when the car was brought it. Their technician came out and showed us close-up detail photos of our car (or what they claimed was our car) with front and back fenders damaged. It was really bizzare because both my husband and I remember very well that only the rear fender was damaged. In addition, the insurance company USAA also took photos of all the damage when we brought the car to their office for an estimate in San Rafael. When we made our case at Allito's - both Stacey (front desk) and the technical dropped their story, looked uncomfortable and told us "it's ok, no need to pay the balance" and "we are not sure what happened". Really shocking. We don't know if they actually damaged the front fender during the repairs and quickly repaired it or if they took a photos of a different car with a damaged front fender and added it to our photos but either way it was super sketchy and odd. We were both left speechless and just left. Unacceptable! Please make sure you are paying for the service actually provided when at Alioto's. I never had this happened before (used them twice in the past) at that shop but I know their ownership and management changed recently.

Sure there could be cheaper shops out there, however if you are looking for quality, high standard, Barsotti's is the place to be. The two employees I interacted with, Manny and Vanessa, have always been great. For example, Manny is the technician that has worked on prepping my full carbon fiber wing and has done an amazing job each time. In fact, Manny always goes above and beyond and even texted me with updates / pictures throughout the process. Never have I seen a technician do that. Vanessa always promptly answered my emails and was a pleasure to work with in terms of communication and reply speed. I didn't know the significance of the damage but I had it towed to Barsottis. Fortunately, Manny was there to open the shop and take my vehicle in. Manny's customer service was impeccable!
