I have had the same insurance company for as long as I have been in the military. USAA insurance has always treated me right and I never had a negative experience. When my car broke down I thought nothing of it because they always set up me with a local tow. I know they do not have much control of the professionalism the company has but this was terrible. I called the tow dispatcher to explain my vehicle is an all wheel drive vehicle and will need a flat bad or the attachment that lifts up the back end. She asked if my car was modified or lowered and if it would need ramps to help the car up. I explained no it was not, last time it was towed all they did was hook up the chains on the under carriage and pulled it up just fine. She said ok no problem and sent some one out. The tow came and asked me where my tow hook was. I explained to him I dont have one, I never used one. Last time I was towed all they did was hook up the chains from under the car and pulled it up. He said well I dont have that, find some one else. I thought he was going to his car to get paper work or call it in but he left right away as I was standing beside my car in amazement. I wasnt sure if it was because he was having a bad day or if it was because of my color or what.. I have never seen such unprofessionalism and disrespect coming from a company trying to help people. I did not serve my country to be disrespected for such a simple " Hey sorry I dont have any tools for that let me try and find someone for you" or something along those lines. Not just say "find someone else" and just leave. So I called the dispatcher told her what happen and she said ok hold on let me get in contact with the tow. She calls me back and said "I clearly said if you car was modified or lowered or anything" I specifically told her I was not last time I was towed all they did was hook up chains from under the car like I said before. She said "well we are cancelling your tow from your insurance provider. You will have to find someone else and proceeds to hang up with me. I call her back to try and get her name but she declines my calls and blocks my number. I would avoid these people at all costs...

Two of our elderly family members who live up north during the summer shipped, via truck, two of their SUVs from up north down south for the winter. Trucker got pulled over by state trooper and had one sticker (out of many) missing. Trucker has been in business for 20+ years. Dunne takes the truck and the cars they were carrying into possession, Dunne wants $10,600 per vehicle plus an additional $200 per day "fees" from the vehicle owners. This is intolerable, and according to PA law, illegal so we start the process of acquiring legal representation (the elderly family member has a law degree and knows many lawyers across the country). Dunne finally releases cars, but not without shattering some glass windows on the cars. Needless to say, a remedy via a costly lawsuit is forthcoming.
