I went to the place three times and every time I ate something at the restaurant, my stomach got upset next day.

Worst place to go for Korean style sushi. They are so cheap. It is crazy that they charge almost 400 dollars for a really small portion.

It is a bit baffling to me how they charge $38 for hotpot! You can literally go to KPOT for both…read morehotpot AND KBBQ for that same price. They also charge an extra $4 if you want to change out your broth. I got the tonkatsu broth, which was fine... Not super flavorful but I also didn't finish the broth. The items to put into the hotpot were fine, though we couldn't tell some of the meats apart. The spicy sauces they had at their sauce bar was not spicy at all. They also didn't have sesame oil, which was a bit surprising. The most annoying part was that their credit card machine wasn't working that day, which they never said up front before we started ordering. Overall, it was a fine, middle-of-the-road experience.

I used to love this place but the past few visits are huge disappointments…read more First and foremost, the condiment bar is dirty. There are multiple gnats hovering above the uncovered sauces. I notified our server and he just shrugged "it's been like that". We were the only customers in the restaurant. He was mostly just hanging out by the cashier, he could have cleaned the condiment bar easily. I lost my appetite after seeing the bugs flying around the condiment bar. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant, they did not check on us at all. The table next to us was not cleaned up until an hour after they left. Meat quality is subpar at best. Beef slices are either super fatty or not marbled at all. Each plate of beef tongue looks different, their quality is not very consistent. They used to bring out ice cream with the check, now you have to ask for it. I think the fact that it's not very sanitary sealed the deal for me, there are plenty of places in the area that are much cleaner. It's a bummer because this place used to be so popular (a few years ago, you have to wait 1.5-2 hours to be seated on the weekends), it's so sad that it has fallen off and I truly hope that they can bounce back.

Drinks were very weak. I ordered a large margarita because I was planning on only one drink, but it was overly sweet and I didn't taste any tequila. It also took them a very long time to bring out the drinks. I ordered flautas which were supposed to be served with tomato and avocado and sides of rice and beans along with sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. When my food came out, there were no avocado, tomato, rice, or beans. At this point I was just kind of over it and wanted to get out of there. My husband got a chimchanga, but the rice was unseasoned and cold, and the beans were cold. There were gambling machines in the restaurant, and it sort of looked like they were in the middle of a renovation. The walls were half painted and there were no decor aside from Frida Kahlo looking down on us. It evidently was a "hidden gem" but these days it's more of "trash out in the open."

However, it took a while for our server to acknowledge us, even though she had passed our table several times. We decided on the AYCE menu, which allowed us to order up to 5 rounds, with premium items limited to one order. Our group only made it through 2 rounds. The food came out relatively fast, and the standouts were the chicken hibachi, popcorn shrimp, and premium sushi. The restaurant itself was pretty, trendy, and seemed like a cool place to visit, but the food was nothing too special, especially for the price. I would definitely come back and give it another try for a better experience.

We went and got the AYCE premium menu (which is ridiculous that you have to choose the premium for nigiri and sashimi but whatever), and upon seating they give you a paper menu to write down your order. We got their premium box which is like $25 or $26 off of their à la cart menu and while it's super pretty to look at it was disgusting. The Wagyu was thick, slimy, and chewy and made me want to throw up. The toro had wayyyyy too much wasabi in it and felt like torture to eat. The other two pieces were ok but if I paid à la for it I'd be PISSED. The rolls and nigiri and sashimi were a mixed bag, some were okay, some were slimy, and some were just dry. The cooked food was decent but not very flavorful, my siblings favorite dish of the night was the cooked bulgogi which I found to be chewy and you guessed it, flavorless. Service left much to be desired, there's an hour 30 minute time limit on AYCE and you get four rounds total. They take your paper in the back to put in your order and don't bring it back out until all of your order has come out(which fair), but it takes about 30ish minutes per round and having to flag someone down to take your paper back is a pain. I think if they had tablets or maybe a call button that would be better? Unsure. Regardless the food quality needs a major upgrade to make it worth the price.

Clean, cozy, and the type of restaurant where you will CLEAN your plate. I was a bit nervous coming here considering that I am not the biggest fan of raw things! I have had raw marinated crabs before in Korea and this place can compare. I recommend the soy one, the crab was meatier and there is no fishiness at all. The spicy one was delicious too, not too overwhelming with the spices but our crabs were a bit beat up (small pieces of shell broken up). The salmon was also a crowd pleaser. The kalguksu was chewy, sharable, and umami. The same goes for the tteokbokki, they know how to time it. It wasn't too soft and the flavors were on point. Service was good, our waters and banchans were filled. Speaking of which, it was memorably good. I huge shoutout to the kimchi, kale, and seaweed here. The kimchi is slightly sweet, fresh, and keeps you coming back for more.

Gloves are provided so you don't have to get your hands dirty.

We went to a newer spot in the Annandale food scene and were throughly surprised at the quality of food (given it seemed more like a bar). To start, we tried some skewered fish cakes and rice cakes. The mug it came in was charming and broth was delicious. It honestly hit the spot. 10/10 *Chuncheon Dakgaibi - spicy and savory. Loved the flavor. However, there was barely any chicken in the dish. The majority of the dish consists of cabbage and onions. My table and I were fishing for any piece of chicken. 6.5/10 *Pan Fried Seafood Udon - also spicy and great flavor. Udon was soft and chewy. Came with A LOT of muscles and onions, a couple big shrimps, and some baby shrimps, carrots, jalapeños and peppers. Same with this dish, there was not a lot of udon noodles. 7.8/10 Ambiance: there weren't many people at this spot, it was located at the corner of the strip (basically in the cut). But the decor and lighting was nice. My friend and I chose a spot that had a table on the floor, and you get to sit on pillows (SO CUTE). 9/10 Would I come here again? Absolutely. Although they skimp out on ingredients, the flavor and spices were definitely there. It's a chill hangout spot to grab drinks and food. It's also located right next to a bingsoo (korean shaved ice) spot! Overall rating: 7/10

I really enjoyed my meal! The preparation of the fish was perfect. The skin was crispy, lightly seasoned just like in Greece. It's the closest thing to Greek food I've had here, at least in regards to the dish. The lamb shank was alright aromas and flavor could've been a little stronger for the red sauce. I was also happy that none of the seafood had a fishy taste to it. They also deboned the branzino. The fish also had a lot of meat so I felt as though I got my moneys worth. As for the grilled octopus it was a little tough in the fatty areas, but overall the flavor and quality was great! The feta psiti was so so, I had it in Greece and it wasn't even close. This is the 2nd location I have been to and so far this one is my favorite. Parking is a little wonky as the town gets pretty busy during prime dining hours.
