Needed a fast structural engineer inspection before deciding whether to put in an offer on a house…read more All the engineers I called were booked weeks out (massive rains had delayed everyone's schedule), and at the recommendation of another unavailable engineer, I called Jonathan. Regardless of the fact that I was outside his normal service area, he squeezed us in the very next day, completed the inspection, and even advised that we have the foundation checked to see if there were piers already in place which could just be adjusted (saving money!). OH, and it turns out that when he squeezed us in, he was taking pity on our situation and working on his birthday, which he hadn't planned to do :) Definitely recommend!

I had two different engineers review his report and they both stated Tom was wrong and the repairs I needed would not cost more than $5,000 with a lifetime warranty on the work. Nick Manesh is a dallas based structural engineering who mostly testifies in court cases. He is…read morenot a project engineer. He is not a construction engineer. However, he agreed to perform those functions for our community after harvey. He was paid over 120,000 to perform the project management of the rebuild and didn't even show up after the first month. He may be a fine expert witness. Ready to testify however you want for a price. However, do not trust this man. He was well aware that owners were questing his hiring from the beginning. He was way out of his element. He cashed those checks though. He was paid by a rogue board member who illegally made payments without board approval. Now after over a year of investigation, It turns out Dr. Manesh was an long time acquaintance of the rogue board member . He professed over and over that he was only trying to help. Oh, did I mention that he would only accept the project management job if the hoa agreed to perfrom 400,000 in unnecessary foundation work. It gets better. He insisted that he would hire the company himself. Brought them in from dallas, put them up in hotels.. and billed us.
