I have taken our Class B Van there several times. It can be VERY hard to get in, as they are swamped, but once you get your vehicle in, they are pretty quick on the turn-around. We're newbies to RV'ing, so I don't know how they compare, price-wise, with others - they have not only fixed several issues we had (tank issues, AC, etc.), BUT they ALSO walked me through how to use some of the systems that I have that I was not familiar/comfortable with. Very patient with my questions. AND I LOVE the dog that's there! She's VERY VERY sweet & she played with my dog VERY sweetly & enthusiastically. Disclaimer - Mike the technician is absolutely wonderful. He really know his stuff, and made prompt work of identifying the areas that my fifth wheel needed some TLC. As for the business/office as a whole - I have no idea if they're still even in business. I put down over $1000 for a parts deposit of the items that my warranty was covering, and that was six weeks ago. I've tried calling, leaving voicemails, and emailing dozens of times to no avail. No one will get back to me, and I have no idea if the supposed parts that I paid for were ever even ordered. I'm now at the point where I feel like I got scammed, and will have to work with my bank to reimburse the fraudulent transaction. We used Genuine RV Repair for the repair of a cracked p-trap on our shower, replacement of a door lock, and replacement of a navigation light on our Airstream. The work was done timely and correctly. Some delays with parts, but that is out of their control. More importantly, the communication from the office manager, Kayla, was great, with updates on an almost daily basis. We are full-time empty-nesting RVer's, traveling around the country. Everything was going great until we got to Austin where we experienced an electrical issue with our trailer. Our truck kept giving us a fault error and the trailer brakes wouldn't connect. We called Genuine RV Repair late in the day on a Friday and Michael, our repair technician, came out the very next day. He was smart, funny, and fair. He solved our brake issue by finding a wire that wasn't grounded properly and also discovered our truck had a blown fuse which was an unrelated problem. The technicians are Airstream certified. I contacted Bryan 6 months after the Texas freeze. Leak repair performed earlier by another service was slowly leaking and caused major damage. Bryan came the next day and towed my Airstream to the shop. An estimate was provided very quickly and they worked easily with State Farm. The service is excellent. These people are great! I called them on a Sunday about a propane leak in my motorhome; they responded quickly and told me to bring it in the following morning, which I did. The mechanic quickly identified the problem and resolved it economically. Yelp shows only two reviews for Genuine RV Repair, one of which is negative; however, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see this, "9 other reviews that are not currently recommended." Clicking on this link takes you to the 9 reviews, all of which are 5 star. I don't know what motivates Yelp to hide all the positive reviews but Genuine RV Repair provided fast, reliable service at a very reasonable price. Can't ask for more than that. read more

We had a slow but persistent leak from our freshwater line inside our rig. Michael came out promptly to diagnose the problem. He was courteous and very helpful. Just a really frustrating experience. It took them a month to get to my rig and it always took multiple calls to get an update. And as a first time RV owner with an older model, it was very hard dealing with their main office lady who answered the phone most days when she knew less about RVs than I did. I ordered the $900 complete diagnostic which I was told checks everything. I can only hope the work I ended up going with was needed and the work was solid,. At check out I was told I was "more than road ready". Upon getting it home I discovered I had no power to anything from the cabin battery which I had completely replaced and rewired. Had to take it back the next day which was fixed, but it was only then the tech revealed my generator didn't work and I should have been told that. Now I'm out on the road and I discover my leveling system isn't working it all and I know it was before I took it in. Also took quite a bit of fidgeting and cursing before I got my A/C to work, and that was another thing I had revamped. I get that older rigs are a crap shoot but when I drop 7k on repairs and you tell me I'm good to go I should be able to believe it read more

I WOULD NOT suggest Anyone use Genuine. I asked them to come out and help find a water leak in my Mobile Suites fifth wheel. I wanted to see where the leak was coming from so I watched the guy work. First off, he wanted to remove ALL sorts of cabinets, panels, etc. and said it would probably be $1500-$2000 just to get to it. Then I said you could just pull back the water heater to see. He says " oh. Yeah. Well, I could do that ". He moved really slow pulling my water heater back. Then, after I see the leak, I thank him and tell him I need to get to work. He puts it back together in RECORD time after I left. I knew this because I stopped for a sandwich at a store nearby. About 20 minutes later, he's driving by in his truck. Took him 1.5 hours to pull it back. Then, I get the bill. $400.00! And keep in mind he only pulled the water heater back about 10 inches, he did NOT remove it. $200 for the service call, just to come out! Then I get home and find gobs of silicone all over where he put the heater back in. Also my wet bay door is damaged and won't stay shut now and the paint is scratched up, he didn't even need to touch that! The owner has been promising to make it right and come out and fix it for nearly 6 WEEKS NOW. I WAS going to give them a good review if he fixed it, but...... Every week is a new excuse why he couldn't make it that week. ALL he did was waive the asinine $200 service call fee. Terrible experience to say the least. read more

Simply stated: I will go back to Genuine RV for all of my repairs moving forward. I have a brand new 2021 Thor Freedom Elite RV that, upon the first few camping trips, I already had a multitude of issues that I was experiencing. Long story short, the dealership where I bought it from was telling me that it would takes months to get my unit in and service it due to supply chain issues with parts and lack of employees. I found Genuine RV online and I'm so glad that I chose them to service my unit. I can't speak to dealing with the owner, as I never really had any communication with him; however, I didn't need to! He has a wonderful front office staff that helped me every step of the way. Both Kayla and Monica kept me abreast of parts, their expected ETAs into the shop and when installation of parts would be completed. Keith and the rest of the GRR staff went above and beyond to accommodate my repair requirements on very short notice. During this season's first use after our Texas Deep Freeze in February, I discovered a cracked hot water bypass valve. Already inside of the full refund window at a popular RV park in Fredericksburg, the guys bypassed my bypass valve so that I would have hot water during the outing and then basically put me near the head of the line when the new bypass valve arrived after my outing. My dealership didn't come close to being as responsive, so I will be using GRR for my future repair requirements. read more

These guys will lie straight to your face. My experience was so hopeful at first, but it turned out to be a complete mess on their part. I dropped off our RV for busted pipes and asked to check anything else that would be covered by the insurance company from the winter storms in early March. I didn't hear back ONCE until I reached out A MONTH later, Bryan the manager/owner assured he'd look into it, didn't hear back ONCE again until I reached out again ANOTHER MONTH LATER. The entire time my RV got in worst shape. He kept giving us the run around, until we got fed up and left ANOTHER month after. Before we left we asked for our initial paperwork to prove to the insurance company that our RV had been at his shop for 3 months without care. By the end they were using our RV as storage, and he refused to hand over any paper work. Offensive people. One of his workers yelled at us when we tried to facilitate the matter with the insurance company. Seriously a terrible memorable experience. It was the worst business experience I have ever had.
