First of All, from the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Metcalf!…read more I am a person getting my first braces at 42 years old. In the beginning, I wanted Invisalign. After checking my X-Ray, Dr. Metcalf told me that I would not be a good fit for it. I truly appreciated him saying this, because although Invisalign was more expensive, but he believed that I would see much better results from braces. Dr. Metcalf is extremely educated in his work and took time to explain me on my teeth. He makes sure you are happy. I am ecstatic about my results. When I walked in Dr. Metcalf's office in Nashua, I felt very comfortable about its clean, quite, and updated. Dr. Metcalf's assistants were also very educated. The front desk staffs are super nice and helpful! They always tried to help me immediately.

Mean bully I was treated by Metcalf a number of years ago…read moreand he was so awful to me I have never forgotten. I was not well with a chronic illness making me quite sick and struggling with making the visits. My child was also very ill. I was overwhelmed yet doing my best. After not no-showing but missing several but not all visits (with proper cancellations) over several months, he berated me. He started verbally and furiously ranting at me while I was still laid back in the chair. Being underneath him while having this anger directed at me, I had to ask the assistant to lift me up while he ranted at me non-stop vehemently. I was shaken and felt abused and violated. I never forgot it. He is not a nice man. It was truly horrible.

Very pleased with everything about this Dentist Office. I am usually very anxious when it comes to…read moredoctor visits. Today, I had a cavity filled and a tooth prepped for a crown in the Bedford location. My original appt was later on in the month, but due to a cancellation, I was seen today. The permanent crown will be put in place before Christmas! Dr. Chan and his staff took every precaution to make sure that my anxiety was eased and that I felt comfortable under their care. They were patient, took frequent breaks and administered extra novocaine when I asked for it. They told me next steps and gave a percentage of work left to be done. At 75%, I could see the light at the end of the tunnel! The scan wand they use take 3D images of your teeth is super cool. The Solea Laser, although intimidating, was painless. Thank you Dr. Chan and team for taking such great care of me!

I was a loyal customer to Wellsprings Dental for several years. I would not recommend this dentist…read moreoffice to anyone as they lie about treatment needed, do not properly train their staff (specifically, receptionists and dentist assistants) and have a general lack of caring towards their customers well being. One time, the dentist I saw recommended that I have my wisdom teeth (which caused me no pain) to be removed. I had two wisdom teeth on the left side of my mouth. The Dentist claimed I would get cavities if I did not have them removed. The first specialist they referred me to didn't even check my mouth and were ready to remove my teeth. I decided against this. The second oral surgeon actually took the time and examined my wisdom teeth. Not only did they say this was not necessary, but they recommended against it and it would be considered cosmetic treatment. The dental assistants were a mixed bunch. Some were decent, but there had been several times when cleaning my teeth where they scraped my gums. This was quite painful and the assistant pretended it was due to my lack of flossing. When the dentist came to view my teeth, they said I did an excellent job cleaning them. What finally made me decide to write this review (as I had already been considering leaving them) was the way they treated me. Post-Covid pandemic, they required masks and still do. In the past, they readily had masks available as I sometimes forgot to bring mask. For a recent appointment, I did not have a mask. I saw the receptionists and asked for a surgical mask. Very coldly and rudely without even saying good morning to me, the receptionist, while wearing a surgical mask, claimed they were no longer for customers and instead offered me a KN95. I had arrived early and offered to wait outside. The receptionists refused and insisted I sit in the waiting room wearing a KN95. As I wear glasses, KN95s are extremely uncomfortable. No one told me about the change in policy about being forced to wear KN95s. I refused to wear the mask. When I spoke to the manager, I asked if I could get a surgical mask. Not only did the manager refuse my accommodation, she claimed the other employees were "shaken" by my behavior and claimed I terrified them with my yelling. I did no such thing and asked why the employees would say that as I was confused. The manager then said I would no longer be offered services at Wellspring Dental. Do not go to Wellspring Dental. The office will lie to you about treatment you need, do not train their staff well, and do not care about you as a customer.

I waited 15 min while several employees spoke to each other in Spanish and ignored me. So unprofessional and rude. I then got placed into retainers and after that I unfortunantly misplaced my top retainers and went in to make an appointment to get another mold. I am 16 and have to pay for these myself, I talked to someone at the front desk and talked to them about payment and too see if there was anyway to go about this in a way I can gradually pay each month, the front office woman proceeded to say she had talked to a manager and I have to pay upfront. Hearing this I was dissapointed, but after when I asked for the appointment they said they were booked for 10 days and thats how long id wait for a retainer. 10 days is quite a long time, and given we spent thousands for these braces I expected to be able to get in quicker, since last time I was able to just walk in and get a mold of my retainers but this time that was not the case. I am extremely dissapointed, you would think after spending so much money theyd take you in in no time so your teeth don't shift. I brought up the concern to the front desk lady and she shrugged it off and proceeded to say, "Ehh they only move about 1mm" , but after spending so much money you dont want them shifting or changing at all!
