Gen is so sweet. I've been coming to her for a couple months now. Always a fun time with her. She is always willing/excited to try something new. 10/10 everytime.

I asked if she could make it a little stronger, but she said they don't use much pressure on the front. I understand that, but it honestly didn't feel like a massage. It felt like she was just lightly waving a gua sha tool over my skin with almost no pressure. There was virtually no therapeutic pressure or technique with that tool. When she used her hands, I was hoping she would spend more time on my neck and shoulders, but that part was very short. I kept wondering what she was actually doing.. Once I turned over, the experience completely changed. She used her elbows to press down very aggressively. It wasn't just deep pressure, it felt like she didn't really know how to massage properly. She asked if the pressure was okay a few times, but I said yes because I was worried that if I complained, she'd go back to barely touching me. I've had massages regularly at many different places, and I've never experienced someone who relied almost entirely on digging in with their elbows like this. It felt more rough than therapeutic. She also scraped my calves way too hard with a gua sha tool. It wasn't relieving at all, it was just an unpleasant kind of pain. Overall, I was disappointed from beginning to end. I ended up with bruises all over my back, and after the massage I felt so dizzy that I had a headache and felt unwell for the next three days. On top of that, I developed an itchy rash on both sides of my neck that still hasn't gone away. I'm not sure if it was caused by the massage oil or the massage itself. The therapist was kind and friendly, but unfortunately the massage itself was one of the worst I've had. Based on my experience, I honestly don't understand why this place has such high reviews. I was really looking forward to it and left very disappointed.

There was no warm welcome, introduction, or even sharing of her name (Kay or Kyonda the business owner according to yelp). She immediately instructed me to put on a hair turban and lie down without any explanation. When I asked about the treatment steps and products, she said she doesn't talk during facials and would give an overview afterward. I specifically inquired about extractions and dermaplaning timing--she provided neither. The service felt amateurish and inadequate: minimal effort beyond basic cotton-pad cleansing, no real massage or care, only one warm cloth at the very end, followed by being left alone on the table for a long time. Having had many facials, this was by far the most disappointing and unprofessional. Save your money--skip the Groupon here. Proper customer service, communication, passion, and trust-building are essential for a great experience, and none were present. I expected more from a business and surprised that the low quality service I received was from the business owner.

Kyonda was super warm, helpful & her technique & knowledge was absolutely on point. I'll definitely be back & I suggest you coming to check out this awesome establishment as well. Make the time, it's worth it.

I have been using makeup for years to fill them in. I've always been nervous about permanent makeup, but then I met someone who also had her brows done by Renaye and they were so perfectly natural, I felt ready. I am SO glad I did it. My makeup routine is taking less time, my no makeup look is more finished and fresh, and I feel like I found a trustworthy esthetician that I would gladly see again for any service they offer. Spending time at the spa is so relaxing and feels like hanging out with old friends at the same time, Renaye is passionate and knowledgeable and her skill and personality will immediately put you at ease. Thanks, Moi Lash Spa!

I got my mom's eyebrows done here. I wanted to support a black business and I had also gotten my…read moreeye brows done at Moi and they turned out okay, not great, okay. Unfortunately, the owner is super unprofessional and does shady business. My mom left the first visit with half an eyebrow and an ugly weird shaped eyebrow. We were concerned but my mom said that the owner, Renaye, said she would fix it and finish her eyebrows when she comes back for the touchup. We went back for the next appointment about 2 months later and of course it took like 4 hours to complete and she was working on multiple clients while my senior mother waited. When she was done she took $70 dollars from my senior mom and then sent her outside to get me to pay the rest of the bill. I was confused because I thought that the service was complementary considering she didn't do a good job the first time but she said it's $75. I wanted to just understand how her business works and she explained that she gave my mom invisible strokes that we couldn't see. I'm like okay. Then she got an attitude just because I was asking questions to understand and took back the card reader and changed the price to $100. I was confused because she just said it was $75 but apparently if you ask her questions about her service she adds charges to the bill. When I got to the car I was like she made me pay $100. My mon was like no she didn't and that's when I learned my mom had already given her $70 in cash. Renaye is a thief! Taking money from seniors and then over charging me. I called her on my way home to give her the opportunity to do the right thing and she did not answer my calls. I will be finding a new place for my mom and I moving forward and I suggest you do the same. Support black businesses but not if they are going to be ghetto, unprofessional and steal from their customers. She literally doesn't finish the eyebrows the first time so you have to go back in two months and pay her more money to fix it. She is a horrible person and a fraud that can't do eyebrows.
