The food was absolutely amazing and at a great price. Honestly, the low-star reviews seem to come from people who just had a bad day because I've never had a single bad experience at Genos. The service is always amazing, and they communicate with you and make you feel welcome. Fernando especially stands out. He's super cool, always friendly, and handles every order, whether it's dine-in, pickup, or to-go, with care and a great attitude. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and keeps things running smoothly. Genos is lucky to have him. Oh and I just wanted the lunch special, which is a HUGE slice and a drink for 6$! What a steal I mean look at it! Makes me so happy they have such good deals. If you see this seriously thank you Fernando!!

A screen shot conversation with the owner!

We ordered pizza for our family movie night from here last night the pizzas were absolutely terrible my kids wouldn't eat them we contacted the store who offered us a 1 pizza credit mind you we spent almost 85 dollars. I didn't want the credit because truthfully how bad the pizza was I was already intending to not return. We were directed to contact the owner via email which I did right away. Not only was the owner not willing to do anything to comp us for the terrible food we were basically called liars. It's really sad this is how they treat not only customers but veterans as well. We certainly will not be back!

I would highly recommend checking out this place, supporting local businesses is so important. The staff, owner and manager are all amazing. Truly cares about the community and the people in it. The pizza slices are amazing. Clean environment. And he lets small businesses advertise inside his business. Great place.

Waste of money

Italian sub is a waste of time. It's 80% bread 17% lettuce and other fillers and 3% lunch meat. My wife is not one to complain and she was very disappointed in the sub. Don't bother unless you like subs with no meat in them. I literally went out again to buy lunch meat for her sub. I mean Jesus how much would it kill you to put a worth while amount of what the sub is advertised as. Will never go back.

This pizza is huge!

Best pizza in town. Their New York style is as close to the big city that you are going to get. Only complaint is the price for delivery.

It was enough for 3 adult men and 1 adult woman; we still had an extra slice and garlic knots to share. I'm from the Chicago area, so I'm picky about pizza. Crust, ingredients and sauce are great!

Another weekend and another pizza place to try. This time... Brooklyn V's. Another one of those…read morespots that is always popping up on my Yelp feed. Wife said we had them before, but I don't remember. That's never a good sign. I will start with negative item that had no positives. The traditional wings. I requested them well done because we like our wings crispy and they arrived barely done. Literally right on the line of done and not done. Only six wings. I had to stick them in my Ninja Toaster oven the finishing cooking. Very disappointing. We order a margarita pie and pepperoni. We got an additional pepperoni for free. The dough was fluffy. Had a decent rigidity to it, but like the wings it could have cooked a little longer. A little char on that crust brings a nice Smokey flavor and crispy bite to it. The cheese and topping were ok. Nothing really wowed there. The sauce can make or break a pizza. It's literally what brings a flavor balance to the whole thing. On the plus side they have a savory sauce. I'm not a fan of the sweet sauces so that was good. That said, thats all it was just good. Another place playing too safe with the seasoning. All in all it's a decent pie. 3 1/2 stars for the pizza. 1 1/5 for the wings. Seriously... the wings broke my heart.

We are glad to see them expand with the additional location in STV. We headed here after my daughter's ballet recital since it was on the way home. Definitely didn't disappoint. We love this place as each person can get their own favorite slice and not settle for one version/topping. I was greatly impressed by the kids Mac&Cheese! We avoid ordering that for a kids menu option; however, my nephews both did and it was not that cheap Kraft! I'll admit I was taking a look or two thinking about stealing a bite. We of course ordered three appetizers as our party of eight trickled in. Mozzarella sticks, Zucchini, and famous Garlic knots never disappoint! My only suggestion is they need more help. Only two girls running the front house, dealing with walk-in orders, pick-ups and so on. It's hard to be bitter about excellent service when you clearly see the poor girl working her ass off. Secondly, our party of eight had to fit into a booth for six since they didn't have the means to accommodate and only suggested that we sit at two different tables. Luckily four of the eight were kids so it wasn't too bad. We will always support this business and appreciate the quaint quality small business they bring to the community!

I honestly don't know how to describe this experience other than disgusting and unacceptable…read more I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, a beer, and an antipasto salad. My total was $26.41. The beer took about 10 minutes to arrive, and when the pizza finally came, it was cold. But the real problem was the antipasto salad. The meat on the salad was rotten. Completely rotten. I almost gagged when I realized what I was eating. Serving spoiled meat to a customer is not just poor service--it is a serious food-safety issue. I immediately brought it to an employee's attention. Rather than offering a refund, I was told I could either get another salad at a lower cost or receive a credit. I chose the credit, and I had to give them my phone number so it could supposedly be entered into their system for a future visit. After being served rotten food, I'm not exactly eager to return to use a credit. And frankly, I have no idea whether that credit will even be there if I ever decide to go back. The pizza was cold, the service was slow, and I was served spoiled meat. The fact that a refund wasn't simply offered after something this serious happened was incredibly disappointing. I would strongly encourage management to take a serious look at their food storage, freshness, and quality-control procedures. Customers should never have to wonder whether the food they're being served is safe to eat. Needless to say, I won't be rushing back.
